Sheyi Tea Culture hotel was an amazing stay, definitely a must stay if visiting Hohhot! Food & Drink 🫖 This hotel is also a tea house and it is a tea drinker’s dream! First the room a booked came with my own tea brewing equipment and a tea brewing table with an excellent view and comfortable seats! But that is just the beginning, as you head down to the main floor a fully stocked, beautiful tea house & cafe awaits you. Daily tea and even delicious milk tea is always available. Private table sets and outdoor seating is available too. The tea masters are skilled and attentive, which made all my tea drinking experiences fun and enjoyable! You can also purchase various tea and tea ware right in the tea house. Location 📍 This hotel is perfectly located close to the near by Ancient Street, with many close by temples and shrines to visit. A craft street is close by and available all day, while a famous local food street opens up for colourful night time snacking in the evening. Many close by restaurants offering authentic local cuisine, I recommend reading the hotel’s recommendations as they were always great. If you need even more tea experience, there is a nearby tea wholesale market and many high end tea house in the area as well. The Room 🛌 The room I stayed in had lots of space, was very clean and had everything you could need to feel comfortable. Daily bathroom necessities are provided. High quality bedding, robes and slippers are waiting for you. High end bathroom equipment is installed, with hot water always available. Premium television is set up and Wifi connection always had high speeds. A beautiful kettle and tea set can be used to make tea with daily water and a welcome tea package provided. Staff 👩⚕️ The staff were very king and helpful right from check in. Actually even before check in they were helping bring my luggage inside! They were patient with communication as I was a foreign visitor. They answered any and all questions I had. They recommended great tea and amazing restaurants! The staff were always available and always smiling! Such great people really made my stay a dream. This was probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in and I definitely would recommend it to anyone visiting Hohhot! I will be back again for sure.

The hotel's location is ideal, and the environment is pleasant. There are plenty of dining options nearby, which is very convenient. I have a few suggestions though: For our triple-bed family room, only one key card could be made, which meant all three of us had to enter and exit together. Otherwise, you'd have to go to the front desk to get a room card to enter, which was a bit inconvenient. There was also a drain smell in the room. We reported it, and a staff member came to deal with it, but we could still smell it afterwards, and we're not sure why. On a positive note, the milk tea at breakfast was delicious, and the candies at the front desk were tasty!

Location: Right next to Wanda Plaza, making daily life incredibly convenient. It's also not far from the airport or the East Railway Station. Service: Absolutely fantastic! They upgraded our room, and everyone, from the front desk staff to the housekeepers, was exceptionally friendly. Any request we had was immediately addressed and accommodated. The breakfast and afternoon tea were also excellent. The cleaning fee for bringing a dog and the charge for late checkout were the most reasonable I've ever encountered. Room: Spacious and clean, with a great design. It was very comfortable to stay in. Several of my friends have stayed here and all rave about it! Finally, a big thank you! The room was spotless, and the soundproofing was excellent. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied; the lamb shaomai was particularly authentic, and the lamb offal soup was absolutely delicious – highly recommend both! What truly stood out was the genuine and professional service team. From the warm milk the housekeeping auntie discreetly replenished daily to the help with planning my travel itinerary, every little detail exuded a heartwarming, 'home-like' feeling. Upon check-out, the front desk even gave me a souvenir gift, a thoughtful gesture that instantly melted away any travel fatigue. Xin Cheng Hotel isn't just a place to rest; it's a living cultural museum. It tells stories through its architecture, conveys local charm through its cuisine, and embodies warmth through its service. It allows every guest to experience the vastness and gentleness of Hohhot amidst the hustle and bustle. I will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

Facilities: I was very satisfied with the entire facility. The areas were clearly defined, and I was surprised to find that the yurt was fully equipped and incredibly comfortable – truly a luxurious yurt. Environment: The environment was exceptionally good. The overall courtyard design gave a sense of tranquility amidst the bustling city, with beautiful scenery at every turn. Service: The service was the most thoughtful. For a traveler like me, it brought a sense of comfort. The staff were very enthusiastic, attentive, and considerate.

Extremely satisfied! The front desk service was excellent, and the large windows offered a great view. Check-in was super fast, and the hotel is right next to the subway entrance near the Art Academy, making transportation incredibly convenient. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely choose it again if I return to the area. The service was excellent from the moment I arrived. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which was a thoughtful gesture and made a big difference. It was the last stop of my trip, and after spending the previous night in a hotel deep in the grasslands where I barely slept because of the noise and late-night celebrations, having a spacious and quiet room was exactly what I needed. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and the hotel was also very accommodating with a late check-out request. The location is another major advantage. The hotel is conveniently located not far from the airport, making it an excellent choice for both arriving and departing travelers. It's also only about a 20-minute Didi ride from the city center, so it's easy to explore local restaurants and attractions. The hotel sits next to a horse racing track and is close to the grasslands, making it a great base for discovering the area. Depending on the season, you may be able to watch horse races, while the nearby grasslands offer plenty of activities such as horseback riding, seeing local farm animals, and exploring the beautiful scenery. Nearby the hotel you can easily find bicycle rentals area, including both regular and electric multi-seat bikes, which are a fantastic way to experience the grasslands. One thing I realized after my trip is that I would actually recommend staying in a comfortable hotel like this rather than spending the night in accommodations deep in the grasslands. You can easily take a day trip to enjoy all the natural attractions while returning in the evening to a much higher standard of comfort and service. The hotel itself is very large and feels more like a conference center, with five floors and plenty of rooms. There is also a small convenience store on the ground floor for snacks and essentials, as well as an in-house restaurant, making everything very convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The carpeted floors provide excellent sound insulation, and everything was well maintained. Compared to other hotels I stayed at in the higher-altitude grasslands, this hotel offers a noticeably higher standard of accommodation and a much more relaxing experience. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The excellent service, convenient location, comfortable rooms, and easy access to both the airport and the grasslands make this hotel an outstanding choice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit.

It was a wise decision to stay in this loft B&B next to the East Railway Station when traveling to Hohhot this time! As a tourist from other places, you can arrive quickly after getting off the train. The transportation is super convenient. The host was as enthusiastic as family. He not only patiently answered our questions, but also shared travel tips and food recommendations for the surrounding area. I was stunned the moment I walked into the room. The design of the Loft is very stylish, and the space layout is reasonable and full of artistic sense. The room is spotless, the facilities are new and complete, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the toiletries are exquisite. Living here is particularly safe and comfortable, and it feels like being at home. I highly recommend it to friends who come to Hohhot. I will choose here again next time!

The room lady was very friendly and attentive, and gave us 2 yogurts. The location is good! It's only a few minutes' walk to Wanda, very convenient. Five-star praise, I will choose next time
