The embroidered painting on the wall was also beautiful, and the overall environment was excellent. The hotel's location was super easy to find, right inside the Barkhor Old Street near Jokhang Temple, which was very convenient. Taxis could almost reach the doorstep. "The room was clean, and the location was very convenient. You can walk to Saide for meals, and if you head north, you'll find plenty of restaurants, including Yueqing Malatang. The only real challenge was parking. However, upon arrival, an elderly parking attendant at the entrance was very enthusiastic and helped us find a spot."

IntercityHotel Hohhot Xinhua Square
"The room was spacious and the decor was new. After comparing several options, I chose City InterContinental and had a good overall experience."
Wanda Vista Hohhot
"The room was spotless, and the hotel environment was excellent. Service: The service was very thoughtful and attentive. Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive. Although it's an older hotel, it's luxuriously decorated and well-equipped. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit."
IntercityHotel Hohhot Inner Mongolia Museum
"New hotel, and the facilities are all great! The mini-fridge had three complimentary drinks, which was a nice touch. The fruit platter was also good. The breakfast was decent; they had a wide variety of breads, but the hot dishes weren't particularly diverse. The lamb offal soup was incredibly rich and hearty, though it didn't come with potatoes. Being a new hotel, there are still some kinks to work out! I booked three rooms, but only one was ready at 2 PM. The other two weren't available until 4:45 PM, which really disrupted our rest. I saw on Trip.com that early check-in at 10 AM is possible, but I imagine that would be quite difficult to arrange. On the upside, late check-out at 2 PM was a plus! Also, our rooms were on different floors, and you need to use a key card for the elevator, which made it inconvenient to go back and forth between them. There's no underground parking yet, so you have to call for the barrier to be lifted to park. There's an Anhui cuisine restaurant next door that you can access directly from the hotel's fourth floor, saving you a detour. It's a good hotel, and I hope it continues to improve!"
Shangri-La Hotel Hohhot
The city's premier luxury destination nestled in the heart of the vibrant downtown area, known for its exceptional international dining spots and complete five-star wellness and recreational facilities.
Grand New Century Hotel Inner Mongolia
"The front desk staff had absolutely no service意识 (service awareness/customer service skills). When I was leaving, I asked for a parking validation ticket to scan, and a front desk staff member with glasses was holding it but wouldn't scan it. She was busy discussing things with other colleagues. I called her three times before she slowly walked over and told me the ticket she had was for above-ground parking, and for underground parking, I needed to go to the lobby manager. I don't understand why she prioritized her own matters before a customer had even left. If she was busy, she shouldn't have been at the front desk. It's truly infuriating. The hotel facilities are already old, delivery drivers can freely go upstairs, and the front desk is like this. Oh, and by the way, there were many people at the front desk discussing things at the time, and the person who was supposed to be helping me seemed to be just joining in the gossip."
Homeinn Selected Hotel (Hohhot Xincheng District Xinhua Square Subway Station)
"It was surprisingly good, and the receptionist was also very nice."
Inner Mongolia Hotel
"I'm writing this review for the Inner Mongolia Grand Hotel very carefully because it exceeded my expectations. To experience more of Inner Mongolia's culture, I stayed at different hotels during my days in Hohhot. For the first three days, I stayed in a characteristic guesthouse near Dazhao Temple. Although the price wasn't much cheaper than the Inner Mongolia Grand Hotel, I still felt it was incredibly worthwhile once I arrived at the latter. It has the following distinct advantages: 1. **Rich History:** Some people used to say that the Inner Mongolia Grand Hotel was old and dated. I always understood that to mean old facilities, but that's not the case. Its 'age' refers to a rich sense of history, and the items used are exceptionally good, which surprised me greatly. The ceramic and glass products are particularly exquisite. 2. **Service and Standards:** The service is very professional and well-regulated. The entire hotel operates with high standards, which is excellent. 3. **Ethnic Charm:** What was particularly unexpected was that there were even yurts (Mongolian tents) with prayer flags in the hotel courtyard. 4. **Location:** The location is also quite good. There's a popular internet-famous restaurant called Ordo. After we finished eating, we planned to take a taxi back to the hotel, but a quick check on the navigation showed it was only about 200 meters away. Overall, I think it offers great value for money, combining ethnic characteristics with comfort, even though the rooms aren't huge. **Check-in Tip:** Breakfast needs to be purchased separately. I recommend buying breakfast vouchers when you check in or booking a package that includes breakfast directly."
Vyluk Hotel (Hohhot Xinhua Plaza)
"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and just over 400 meters from the subway station. It's incredibly convenient for dining and sightseeing, making it a great choice for tourists."
Yingze Hotel (Hohhot Hailiang Square Xinhua Square Subway Station Branch)
"Clean and tidy, good location, highly recommended."
Elan Hotel Hohht Railway Station
"I genuinely recommend the Hohhot Railway Hotel! If you're arriving in Hohhot by train, staying here is incredibly convenient. The location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a few minutes' walk from Hohhot Station, there's a bus stop right downstairs, and the subway station is also very close. It's super easy to get to Dazhao Temple, Kuan Alley Food Street, and Princess Mansion Park. No need to rush for an early train, and you save the hassle of taking taxis back and forth. The front desk staff are warm and attentive. Check-in was very quick, and they patiently answered questions about directions and stored our luggage. They even proactively recommended local specialty foods and sightseeing routes, which was a thoughtful touch. They also support check-in with an electronic ID, which is great for travelers who might forget their physical ID. Room cleanliness is excellent; the floor, bathroom, and bedding were all spotless. The hot water was stable and plentiful, the mattress was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was effective. Even though it's on a main street, you can't hear the noisy traffic, so you can get a good rest after a long day of travel. The Wi-Fi speed is fast and smooth, perfect for work or streaming videos without lag. They offer a wide variety of room types, including singles, doubles, and family triples, making it suitable for solo travelers or families. The amenities are very practical. They have free parking for guests arriving by car, 24-hour front desk, free luggage storage, a self-service laundry room, and wake-up calls – everything you need. The restaurant on the first floor serves both regular meals and a buffet breakfast, with authentic local Mongolian breakfast options that taste great. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. The price is affordable, and the transportation, cleanliness, and service are all top-notch. If you're coming to Hohhot by train, this is definitely the best choice. I'll stay here again next time!"
Wanhao Hotel (Hohhot Wanda International Convention and Exhibition Center)
"I booked two rooms: a 1.8m king-size bed for my parents and a 2m king-size bed for me and my child. We stayed for 4 consecutive nights during the summer holiday. The location is very convenient, about a 20-minute drive from the airport and close to attractions like the Inner Mongolia Museum, making it perfect for families traveling by car. The hotel breakfast was a pleasant surprise – a rich variety and delicious. The rooms were also great, featuring very comfortable firm mattresses."
Yunleju Apartment Hotel (Hohhot Railway Station Branch)
"The room was clean and had a fridge, range hood, and washing machine. The location is super convenient, within walking distance to Jokhang Temple, Kuan Alley, Wangfujing Outlets, and other commercial areas. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The front desk service was excellent. I'd definitely come back again."
Lejia Yanxuan Hotel (Hailiang Square Metro Wanghong Street)
"This smart hotel exceeded my expectations. There weren't any gimmicky gadgets, every smart feature was genuinely useful. The motion-sensing night light for getting up at night was soft and not dazzling, and the voice recognition was accurate."
Jingran Wisdom Hotel (Hohhot Airport High Speed Railway East Station)
"The rooms have a Xiaodu voice assistant, but its usability is mediocre; some rooms have a strong odor, the bathroom facilities are old, and the hairdryers are covered in hair; the ability to provide airport transfer service is a highlight."
JIN YOTEL(South Second Ring & South Shiyangqiao Road, Hohhot)
"The hotel's location is a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, offering both convenience and quiet. The hygiene is excellent; the room was spotless and bright, and the towels were impeccably clean. The disposable toilet seat covers were such a thoughtful touch! The staff were professional and courteous, always ready to help. The facilities are well-maintained, and the bedding is very comfortable, making for a truly relaxing stay."
