"It was okay, mainly because the location is really good. It's close to everything and there are good restaurants nearby. However, the light controls in the room were terrible. So many switches, but none of them worked properly. Turning on a light took forever. The bathroom also smelled bad. I didn't eat breakfast; I just walked around and saw there wasn't much, so I decided to save my stomach for better food elsewhere."

"This hotel is a great option for a layover, located right in the city center. The only downside was that the first floor was under renovation. However, it's super convenient for getting around since it's very close to the subway entrance. It's also really close to the grasslands, and there are tons of food and drink options right outside. The main advantage is definitely the convenient transportation; lines 1 and 2 are just a quick turn away."

"Location is not the best area in Hohhot, but taxi is cheap in the city so it was not a big issue. What bothered us the most was the fact that the room is “non-smoking” but had obvious smell of smoke when we arrived, and an ashtray (?!) is part of the room amenities. I asked the front if I was put in the wrong room and they said that it was indeed non-smoking but due to the language barrier they could not explain the ashtray well. Besides that, it was OK in terms of cleanliness and the bed was comfortable. The smell faded away from the 2nd night. Staff was also very helpful for fulfilling our requests. I recommend the hotel to remove the ashtray to suggest guests to not smoke. All in all it is a decent accommodation for what you pay for."

"We booked two deluxe king rooms for two adults and two children. The rooms were incredibly spacious and well-laid-out. The front desk assigned us to the highest floor available for our price range, which we were very pleased with. Even though it's on a busy street, it's completely quiet with the windows closed. The revolving breakfast restaurant was amazing, with a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties like lamb offal and peizi (a type of local bread). The only minor issue was that it got quite crowded during peak hours, and the staff were a bit overly zealous in clearing tables to seat new guests. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the General's Mansion, and taxis are easily accessible. Nearby, Mongcheng Yiguo and Suzhou-style noodles both offer delicious food."

Upon arrival, I found that there were a lot of guests checking in, and the front desk had a long, dense queue. We waited in the lobby for a very long time, which was a significant drain on time and energy, especially waiting with luggage. This greatly diminished the experience. During peak hours, with many guests, it's easy for people to pile up in queues and experience congested waiting times, which is very unfriendly to travelers who are on a tight schedule and want to check in quickly to rest. In summary, the hotel's room hardware, hygiene, and living comfort are commendable, making for a very good living experience. However, the excessively long wait during peak check-in times dragged down the overall check-in experience."
