The layout was ideal for families or groups, offering plenty of space and privacy. The thoughtful design and generous size made our stay incredibly comfortable and memorable. Combined with the hotel’s unbeatable location in the town center, and the friendly, welcoming staff, this room was a standout highlight of our trip. I highly recommend Hotel City Zürich if you’re looking for space, comfort, and style in the heart of the city!

GGuest UserThe people at Arlette Hotel were great! Very friendly and helpful. Zurich is a very expensive city and the Arlette is a very good value. The room (101) was smallish as was the bathroom. But we have come to expect that in the older European hotels. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed after a full day of sightseeing in Zurich and the magnificent Alps. The Arlette is just a short walk away to the bus and train station; and there is a great breakfast spot right next door and good kebab restaurant a few doors down. The gentleman at the desk even allowed us to check in very early after a long redeye flight. That was truly wonderful gesture. It says a lot about how caring the staff is. If we ever return to Zurich, we will be sure to stay here.

AAlimar NathanWe had a pleasant stay at Hotel Marta. The location is excellent — right in the middle of Zurich and close to everything, making it very easy to explore the city. The service was great, especially the lady who assisted us during check-in; she was very nice and friendly, which made us feel welcome. The room itself was clean and simple, though it didn’t have air conditioning. We had to slightly open the window for ventilation, which was manageable. We requested a higher floor, but I think because we also requested two single beds, we were assigned a lower floor instead. Not a big issue, but something to note. Breakfast was very minimal in terms of options. If you have the choice, it might be better to skip the breakfast and try some of the many nearby cafes instead. Overall, Hotel Marta is a good, no-fuss option if you want to stay in a central and convenient location in Zurich with friendly service.

GGuest UserThe location was very convenient, near a station with many lines. You can't enter from the front of the building, so you have to go around to the back. There are two key boxes lined up, and the key comes out from the one that matches the key code. The key code will be sent to you by email from the hotel immediately after booking, and you can get the key code by entering the necessary information. I read a lot of reviews, so I was pretty prepared, but it was less inconvenient than I thought it would be. The shower had a curtain, so the toilet didn't get flooded. The amenities were a gel that included body soap and shampoo (as is the case everywhere in Switzerland), so if you are concerned about that, I recommend bringing your own body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The TV didn't turn on. The window didn't close completely, so I blocked it with a weight. The walls are thin enough that you can hear the neighbors walking and the phone ringing, and the building is old. Checking out is also done by putting the key in the box. It feels more like an Airbnb than a hotel. I stayed for one night and checked in late and checked out early, so it didn't bother me too much and I thought it was reasonable considering the price.
