Oita is our transit station, and the hotel is a 15-minute walk from the station. We didn't have high expectations for it. But overall it was good. Especially the coffee in the hotel was delicious. It is very convenient to take a bus to Beppu, Aso, Kumamoto, and Yufuin.

オーナーご夫婦のお話やロケーションなどとても満足でした。雨だったのですが、BBQを急遽、屋内で出来るように手配して頂き、子供達もとても楽しめました！キツネが来る事があると森も散歩しましたが、会えず残念。
アプリとの連動だとは思いますが、予約後に送ったメールが施設に届いておらず、当日に電話で色々確認になりました。どちらというとキャンプ寄りの施設なので、手荷物が増えますが、その辺りが詳しく記載されていると助かります。最寄りのスーパーで買い物して行きましたが、20分くらいの距離でした。ぜひまた行きたいと思います♪

Very old building, the owner is very nice, but there are few bathrooms and it’s hard to wait

ゴールデンウィークに空きがあるということで、まぁ温泉で泊まれればいいかと思っていたのに、温泉も部屋の設備もすごく満足できるホテルでした。また利用したいと思います。

KKok KinThis JR hotel is one of the most unique of all as it has a rooftop onsen (19-21F). It comes with a 150yen per pax per night charge when you stay here. 21F is gender separated outdoor onsen! Was a surprise as we did not expect it to be so nice with the current weather. Parking is 1000yen per night with the car park at the mall side and is linked to the hotel reception by an elevator. Location is superb for non-driving too as it is within 1 min walk from the JR Oita station. We used the onsen for all the nights we stayed. Super good value.

GGuest UserThe room is a little bigger than I expected. It's a 10-minute walk from Oita Station. It takes 1 hour to get to Yufuin by JR Express and half an hour to get to Beppu by Express. It's very convenient. The skewer shop opposite the hotel is so delicious. I finally ate it on the third night. There is a hot spring on the 20th floor of the mall next to the station. The 21st floor is an open-air hot spring with a panoramic view of Oita. I went there twice in a row. The night view is also great. The disadvantage of the Oku Hotel is that it doesn't have a hot spring.

It took about 10 minutes to get there from Oita Station.
Check-in was smooth, and there was a fitness center and a bath on the 4th floor, but it was a little small.
The breakfast buffet had a good variety and was delicious.

Room - Smaller than expected, cannot open an L size luggage. Bed is standard size. The room is clean
Facilities - very comfy hot spring at the roof floor, you can take the Ramen afterwards

Ccherry-3-It is a business hotel and does not have facilities such as a large bath or swimming pool, but it is suitable for us who come and go in a hurry.
The hotel is next to Oita Chuo-dori, which is convenient for dining and shopping.
All the hotel staff are very friendly and patiently explained to us everything including check-in and check-out, parking, restaurant, etc.
The hotel is on a relatively high floor with a wide view. The room has a large window. You can lean against the window and watch the JR passing by, or the Sunflower ferry entering the pier. It's really fun!
The bed and pillows were also very comfortable. The hotel has a complete range of amenities, even disposable towels are provided.
The breakfast variety is very rich, and it also serves many local specialties, such as chicken tempura, mentaiko, fish tea rice, etc.
One Harmony members can use the lobby lounge, as well as enjoy parking and dining discounts, which is very thoughtful.
The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the room uses a central heating system. No matter how the air conditioner is adjusted, it is always warm. Even if a few windows in the room can be opened, the indoor temperature is not greatly improved. The temperature is too hot and affects sleep.

Just a warning that parking is 900 and it's one of those rotating elevator parking services. Wouldn't recommend it unless your car is really small - there are many other parking lots around the hotel area.

I've now retired and live in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
I used this hotel for the first time in a long time for a class reunion.
As always, the staff's service, room cleaning, breakfast, etc. are all excellent.
I'll definitely use this hotel again next time.

오이타역에서 도보 15분 거리로 접근성이 나쁘지 않으며
돈키호테를 비롯한 주요 편의시설이 근거리에 위치해있음.
캡슐룸의 경우 별도의 문이 달려있어 어느 정도의 프라이버시는 보장됨. 하지만 밀폐된 목조 캡슐 형태라 여름에는 잠옷이 다 젖을 정도로 더우며 방음에 취약함.
층마다 보안카드를 찍고 들어가야하며 개인 짐을 보관할 수 있는 라커와 흡연실, 자판기, 화장실, 세면대 등이 있음.
샤워는 3층에 위치한 대욕장을 이용해야하는데 수건, 칫솔, 면도기가 잘 구비되어있으며 비교적 청결하게 관리되고 있음.

MMiyu BirdieOpinions from a female asian solo traveler. Around 10 mins walk from Oita station, acceptable distance to me. Have convenient stores in the area but not many restaurants, better go back to Oita station or Amu plaza oita for food. The front desk is very helpful. The hotel is a bit small and old but very clean and quiet. Particularly appreciate their shower water is hot enough. I stayed on the 4th floor and could hear street sounds occasionally but acceptable. Overall, affordable prices and needs are fulfilled.
