"The hotel's location is fantastic, making it very convenient for both transportation and shopping. The express bus terminal is also nearby. To reach the front desk, simply exit Oita ZR Station North Exit, turn right, go through a small door, and take the elevator up to the 8th floor. Check-in is available from 2 PM. Our room was quite spacious, located at the end of the hallway and featuring large windows on two walls. Unfortunately, they were sealed shut, preventing ventilation, but the air conditioning worked perfectly. The entire hotel was very clean. Despite our three-day stay, the staff promptly replaced our yukata and towels, provided bottled water, and offered warm, attentive service throughout. Breakfast was both plentiful and exquisitely presented, featuring beautiful seasonal Japanese bento boxes. Vending machines and ice makers are conveniently located on floors such as 11 and 14. Across from the front desk, complimentary toiletries and skincare products are available for guests to take as needed. The onsen was spotless and well-maintained, with excellent service. We absolutely loved the convenience of being able to dine directly after our bath. Soaking in the top-floor bath while enjoying the panoramic city views was incredibly relaxing."

"Opinions from a female asian solo traveler. Around 10 mins walk from Oita station, acceptable distance to me. Have convenient stores in the area but not many restaurants, better go back to Oita station or Amu plaza oita for food. The front desk is very helpful. The hotel is a bit small and old but very clean and quiet. Particularly appreciate their shower water is hot enough. I stayed on the 4th floor and could hear street sounds occasionally but acceptable. Overall, affordable prices and needs are fulfilled."

"The location is fantastic, right next to the JR station and the bus terminal. I've stayed at this hotel chain before in Hokkaido, and they consistently offer complimentary late-night noodles from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The hotel also has its own hot spring on the top floor and even provides various flavored ice creams, which the kids absolutely loved. The room was quite spacious with a great wet/dry bathroom separation. Highly recommend!"

"There are many foreign staff members, but we didn't have any particular problems dealing with them. There is a height limit in the multi-story parking garage, so the type of car you can use may be limited. If you have a small, maneuverable car, you may not be able to fit it in because cars these days are so tall. It takes time to get your car out of the garage in the morning, so we recommend going early."

"I stayed for 2 nights in early Jan 2025. The hotel was conveniently located at about 15 minutes walk from Oita station, and close to many shops, F&B outlets and also the castle ruins attraction. On the ground floor, there is also a cafe/eatery with pleasant staff that served simple yet delightful breakfast, as well as a Lawson convenience shop. The room was typical Japanese room, clean and decent. There was no form of cleaning provided, including any change of towels, for my room."

"Strategic location, the hotel is about 700-800m from the train station. In Japan it’s known to have a small bed for hotel, but it’s a pleasant surprise to note the bed is bigger than the “norm”. Very comfortable. In the winter/cold temperature, the centralise airconds were all “set” to heater. When we made a “complain” on the stuff/warm room, they are kind to offer a stand fan to put in our room. A big thumb ups for the buffet, a good spread, clean and delicious."

"Really loved this hotel.Free coffee latte or some kind of chocolate drink.Rooms so cozy with the right lights.Heated toilet seat and great shower.From 2 pm you can get one free glass of wine or sake.Toothbrush and razor provided.Free water in the lobby.2nd 6th and 10th floor had all laundry machines but didn't use them.Minutes away from Oita train station.Friendly and helpful staff... Only heating was a bit hard to use.Kept heating whatever temperature you put it.But the warm duvet kept you perfectly warm....would recommend 👌"

"The hotel has a parking but can only fit in small cars. There's another parking about 5 minutes away. It was a bit disappointing that the toilet was not cleaned with stains. The good thing is they provide amenities. There are many restaurants nearby."

"From Fugang-＞ Kumamoto-＞ Asu Volcano-＞ Youfuyuan-＞ Because the Beppu Hotel is low cost and then chooses to drive 20 minutes to Dafen. I was afraid of trying and wrong. After all, I got 2 reviews, but I was surprised after the stay. The mini bar has wine and electric beds. Hot spring, large room, high cost performance, suitable for couples to travel by car."

"This was a nice hotel in a very good location. There are lots of restaurants and places to drink nearby. The hotel itself was very clean but it didn't have an internal smoking area, although there were plenty of smoking areas outside the hotel. The room was a small one but there are very comfortable beds."
