"My overall experience at the Sanya Bay voco this time was pretty good. The check-in process at the front desk was smooth, and if I had any questions, Gavin was always quick to respond. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in, though being close to the road meant occasional traffic noise. The hotel is very close to the beach, making it convenient for a walk to catch the sunset. The public areas are well-maintained, and the pool environment is nice. The breakfast selection was sufficient, and you could find some Hainanese specialties as well. The location for a vacation is a big plus, and getting around by taxi is easy. Overall, it's a decent resort hotel – nothing exceptionally stunning, but nothing major to complain about either. It's a good option if you're staying in the Sanya Bay area."

"I came here on a friend's recommendation, and I wasn't disappointed. The sea view is fantastic, and it's great value for money, especially with the friendly off-season prices. There are many room types to choose from, making it suitable for both families and couples. The outdoor pool directly faces the ocean, and having a bathtub on the balcony where you can soak and enjoy the sea view is a real treat. You can easily walk or take a shuttle to the yacht marina and the beach, and there are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves is a perfect experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"Hands down the best Ji Hotel I've ever stayed at! When a couple next door started arguing, the front desk responded instantly and moved us to a quieter high-floor room that very night – super professional handling. Even more surprising, every day when we came back from sightseeing, we'd find our laundry not only folded and delivered to our room from the laundry room, but also thoughtfully sorted by right-side out and inside out. That level of detail is like having a five-star butler! The bedding was comfortable, and the location was convenient too. The attention to detail truly shines through. I'll definitely be returning on my next trip to Sanya!"

"The hotel room was large and spacious, centrally located in Sanya for easy access to all attractions. Transportation was convenient, with Coconut Dream Corridor and a commercial street right outside. The reception staff were attentive and helpful, providing 24-hour assistance with travel issues. I originally planned to stay a few days and move on, but ended up extending my stay for the entire trip. It was indeed convenient and comfortable. Enjoying a drink and a cigarette on the terrace at night, listening to the sound of the waves and feeling the sea breeze... it's truly a great place."

"I had a lovely stay with my four years old daughter at this hotel. Although we were the only Africans there, I didn’t notice any difference in treatment. The rooms and swimming pool were clean, and the hotel is well renovated. The environment is perfect for relaxation. Special shout out to the hotel driver who greeted us with a smile and gave us a comfortable ride. Breakfast was Chinese style, which was okay, but I think adding some Western options would be a great improvement. The hotel is conveniently close to the Dadonghai tourism spot, making transportation cheaper and easier."

"I was genuinely surprised by this hotel! Having stayed at most of the beachfront hotels in Sanya, I spent a few days by the sea this time, and then decided to escape the rainy season in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai by retreating to the mountains for a few more days. Location: Since I was driving, I didn't feel it was far from the city. At least all delivery services were available. Plus, the resort itself is so convenient that I didn't feel the need to go out. They have everything: restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, a spa, a supermarket, a barbershop, etc. If you need anything, you can just order delivery. Ambiance: Excellent. The greenery is superb, and the hygiene is top-notch – not a single piece of trash. Service: The butler service was fantastic right from the moment I completed my booking. They handled vehicle registration, luggage, check-in, and even delivered fruit. The butler's WeChat responses were always prompt. They also helped me pre-book some in-house activities (yoga, sound healing, etc.). They even helped deliver food up to my room, and there are shuttle buses to phases 1 and 3 of the resort. All the staff are very attractive. My flight was delayed due to a typhoon, and they even granted me a late checkout. Hotel Facilities: They have it all – pools, restaurants, a gym, and sports courts. The room's amenities are also great, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, a fridge, a coffee machine, and even a pour-over coffee pot! The balcony has lounge chairs and a drying rack. Bathing and toiletries are fully stocked. The minibar offers complimentary drinks and snacks daily. Dining: I tried the Michelin-starred Sichuan restaurant Jichuan (good), the yakitori place Niaowan (great value for money), various cuisines at Dining Hall No. 1, and the 1402 coffee and bakery – all were good. Yongfu and Xinrongji Manner are only open in winter. Compared to the hustle and bustle of the beach, this place feels like the quiet Ubud of Sanya. I realized it's perfect for a 'sportcation' this time, and I plan to come back!"

"We made a spontaneous decision to go from Chengdu directly to Sanya, and this time we stayed at a new hotel in Yalong Bay, which was a very worthwhile choice. Firstly, its location is close to the Ritz and St. Regis, but its facilities are newer than theirs, and the price is only a third of what they charge. The hotel even upgraded our room. As soon as we arrived, we booked a paddleboarding adventure for the next day, and we got completely soaked! In the evening, there was a sound bath healing session, which was quite different from the common activities offered by other hotels; the hotel clearly has some great ideas. We walked over from the Ritz's beachfront that night, which was very convenient, only a two or three-minute walk. The mangrove forest around the hotel is very unique. With its large floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, we enjoyed tea and the scenery from our room, and even saw egrets in the morning. The hotel's description mentioned high levels of negative ions, and indeed, the environment is truly exceptional. The kids played in the pool every day. The hotel's breakfast was also incredibly diverse, featuring Hainanese noodles and Zao Po Cu (vinegar made from fermented rice lees). On our last night, we also booked a SPA at the hotel; the price was reasonable, and the techniques were professional. Highly recommended!"

"My stay at the Dongrong Guest International Hotel far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is ideally located halfway up the mountain, offering a serene and quiet environment. The grounds are lush with various tropical plants, and the bougainvillea on the back hill makes for stunning photos. The rooms feature a simple yet elegant Chinese style, with abundant natural light and impeccable cleanliness, ensuring a very comfortable stay. I must particularly commend Huang Mei at the front desk. She was incredibly warm and friendly, patiently and meticulously explaining everything, whether I was asking about the pool, shuttle bus schedules, or local tour routes. The hotel boasts two pools – an infinity pool and a heated one – both with crystal clear water. There's also a regular shuttle bus service directly to Dadonghai Beach, making travel convenient and effortless. The overall facilities are excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing and therapeutic, making it perfect for family or solo vacations. It offers great value for money, and I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Sanya."
