GGuest UserI've stayed at Qingyin Caolu multiple times, and every visit has been a great experience! The owners are incredibly warm and attentive, from helping with luggage transfers to assisting with itinerary planning. The rooms are clean and spacious, with complete and new facilities. The wooden structure feels sturdy and soundproof, and some room types even come with a balcony offering fantastic views. The guesthouse's courtyard is large and elegant, and the common areas have a charming antique feel. It's conveniently located near the scenic area exit and major attractions, making it easy to get around while still being away from the hustle and bustle. Plus, there are adorable cats to keep you company. It's a truly comfortable and pleasant stay – a must-stay when visiting Hongcun!

GGuest UserThe B&B is located in the Hongcun Scenic Area, not far from the West Gate 2. There are many choices for eating nearby. You can also go out of the scenic area to eat opposite the bridge. The owner of the B&B is attentive and will drive a tricycle to the nearby Zhongzhou parking lot to pick us up. It is highly recommended to have a two-bedroom and one-living room type. The space is large and there is a large living room. It occupies the entire floor of a house in the B&B. The price is very high. Although the homestay is not in the core area, it is not far from Nanhu Lake, and it is very quiet at night, rests well, very satisfied, will recommend to friends and relatives.

__WeChat42601****The room is quite spacious, and the surrounding environment is also very pleasant. I spent a long time researching before choosing this place; it should be even more beautiful in spring. Plus, there's a study in the attic, which is very elegant.
When we checked in, a female staff member helped us with our luggage. She looked very tired, and our bags were quite heavy. I asked her why a male staff member wasn't helping, and she said they were busy. But then, when we went to check in, we saw two male staff members just standing there (felt bad for the girl!).
The only thing I wasn't happy with was the hotel's curtains. The white sheer curtain was lovely, but the dark curtain was old and lacked quality; it looked like it had been there for many years. Also, the bathroom felt a bit dated and lacked quality.
However, these minor flaws don't detract from the overall experience. All in all, it's a very good guesthouse among those in Huangshan. On New Year's Eve, the guesthouse even prepared a BBQ and fireworks, which was very festive. The female owner is also very beautiful – even as a girl, I found her charming, haha. I hope to come back after the New Year, in spring!

GGuest UserAs soon as I arrived at the B&B, the owner recognized me. Yes, I was the tourist who bought the Hongcun ticket just for the B&B. The owner even mistakenly thought I was from Hong Kong, haha! However, this trip to Hongcun really exceeded my expectations. Different from the online comments on Hongcun's commercial tourism, I personally think that Hongcun is a place worth slowly immersing yourself in and experiencing quietly.
When it comes to accommodation, the proprietress is really a very meticulous person. She is almost demanding in her hygiene requirements and will double check every sanitary blind spot. I was also very moved by her entrepreneurial story. Seeing her constantly learning and improving herself (including emotional management, communication skills, and even learning live streaming), I could deeply feel her enthusiasm and dedication to providing thoughtful service to every guest.
Speaking of food, the proprietress’s cooking skills are also amazing, especially her stinky mandarin fish, chestnut chicken and hairy tofu, each of which makes people unable to help but praise it! These authentic delicacies will definitely be unforgettable once you have tasted them.
In addition, the service provided by the boss and his wife was also touching. The boss personally took me to the express delivery point to send the express, and the boss's wife personally accompanied us to take the bus and helped us with our luggage. The service was meticulous and full of emotional value, making this trip more enjoyable.
Overall, this trip was not just a visit to the attractions, but also a warm homestay experience. I sincerely thank the proprietress and the boss. Next time I come to Hongcun, I will definitely stay here again!

TTaozijiang€This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect; it's super convenient for both nearby attractions and finding great food. The room was clean and cozy, and the bedding was so comfortable that I fell asleep the moment I hit the pillow. The bathroom was also completely odor-free. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, check-in was lightning fast, and they even thoughtfully recommended some fun places to visit nearby. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, all nutritious and delicious. The value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area!

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

BBaiwenburuyijianyaThis was my second stay. Hongcun is a great place to relax on weekends, and Zhang's Mansion is as cozy as ever. I told the manager in advance what I wanted to eat, and we ate right away. The food was all bought by the aunties at the manor that morning—fresh and delicious. The rooms are still in the same style, with a classic, antique charm. During the day, I strolled around the village, and in the evening, I went back to the manor to eat, drink, and sleep, relieving the fatigue of work.

CChi Kwan BrainThe hotel is a brand new one. Once arrived, the hotel reception staff served with a warm smile and generously grant us free breakfast for 2 mornings. Hotel renovation looks well and the room facilities are all modern and high tech. I was particularly impressed with its WCPan which has an auto washing services for buttock. The bed linen and flooring are clean well. Environment nearby is beautiful village scene where we enjoy having a lesuire walk there. All in all, it is a very good hotel which can make you relax even you just stay in the hotel. Ha one more that is the restaurant next to the hotel where one may enjoy delicious Chinese meals. The staff there are also very nice. Eating there is just like having meals at home. I am sure I will stay in Vienna again when next time I go to huangshan.

11364114****I saw this hotel on Xiaohongshu and was really drawn to its unique design and decor. Even though the room rates were high for New Year's Day, I still chose it, thinking a hotel at this price point must be excellent. Who knew, as soon as I entered the lobby, I was freezing and almost couldn't take it. How can such a large hotel in this bitter cold winter be so stingy with the heating? I asked the staff why the AC wasn't on, and their explanation was, ”It's too big, it won't get warm.” I had a million *&#% thoughts running through my head – what are you even talking about? We've stayed in plenty of big hotels; yours is at best a large guesthouse. How can it compare to a real hotel? Others can heat up their large spaces, but you can't?? Clearly, you just want to save electricity. What's even more ridiculous is that once I got to the room, the underfloor heating and AC hadn't been turned on in advance; they only started them when I arrived. When I asked why they weren't on beforehand, they said they forgot. (If you don't want to freeze to death in Huangshan, choose a warmer hotel.)
Finally, let's talk about breakfast. For a hotel at this price, the breakfast isn't even as good as an Atour. My child didn't want to eat anything; the food was very mediocre and poor quality. Seriously, avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!

XxoolisaBeautiful house located in a quiet part of the ancient village. As you’ll read in many reviews, the host provides excellent service, and I felt like I was meeting a friend. He took me to and from the gate of the village to the house and helped me carry my luggage. He also helped me arrange a ride back to the train station - there were some issues and he took the time to sort it out with the drivers on my behalf, which was above and beyond. The host and I talked about traveling and I could tell he was someone who was genuine and wanted to be as helpful as possible.
The room is beautiful with huge windows and lots of thoughtful details. I had wonderful rests here while it was too hot outside. From the window you can see some rooftops of Hui architecture. The village isn’t big, so all the sights are nearby
