Hotel101 Madrid ★★★
"This is a fantastic hotel! Its location near Madrid Airport's T4 terminal is super convenient – just one train stop away. The rooms are well-equipped, and they even provide complimentary bottled water and slippers, making it great value for money. However, a heads-up about the airport shuttle: it only runs from 6 AM to 9 PM (hotel departure times). I missed it both ways to and from the airport, which was a bit of a shame."

Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid
Stylish Madrid hotel offering modern rooms, rooftop views, vibrant Gran Vía location, excellent dining, and premium city center access.
JW Marriott Hotel Madrid
"Overall, I was fairly satisfied; they even upgraded me. Two things I wasn't satisfied with: First, the breakfast was terrible and had very limited variety. Second, on two separate occasions, I was woken up at 3 or 4 AM by a lot of noise from people partying downstairs. However, the service was good; the cleaning staff even helped me tidy up my data cables."
Barceló Torre de Madrid
A design-led hotel with panoramic views, located near Plaza de España and Gran Vía.
Meliá Madrid Princesa
"The hotel was clean and its location felt convenient no matter where I was going. In particular, the concierge staff at the front desk were always incredibly friendly, which made my stay very comfortable."
Ocean Drive Madrid
"Great location, right next to the Opera House, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Getting around is super easy with a metro station right outside. The service is excellent, and the rooms are very comfortable. There's a rooftop pool and balcony, perfect for catching the sunset in the evening – it's an amazing vibe."
Riu Plaza España
Famous for its rooftop views, this hotel offers a vibrant stay right in the heart of Madrid near Gran Vía.
Compostela Suites
"Clean, clise to airport, spacious, quiet. Perfect for overnight early morning flights. Could have used dish soap/sponge, would have done the dishes instead of leaving for housekeeping."
Urban Hive Madrid
"This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Spain. As a family of four, we never felt cramped; the room was incredibly spacious with two very comfortable large beds. The breakfast was quite basic and uninspired, though. In my opinion, the hotel's biggest selling point is its excellent location. You can walk to so many places like the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Retiro Park, and the Prado Museum. There are also plenty of restaurants right outside, and 'Xiao Man' is fantastic with authentic flavors, plus a 'Chabaidao' just a few minutes' walk away, making dining incredibly convenient. Shopping was also super easy and accessible. Very satisfied overall!"
Axor Feria Hotel - Free Airport Shuttle Bus
""Great stay near Madrid airport! Clean, spacious rooms with modern design. Free airport shuttle is very convenient. Staff were helpful and check-in was smooth. Perfect for a layover or early flight"
Mercer Madrid - New Opening
"Everything was beautiful and new. All the staff were very friendly, and the receptionist, I think she was Italian, was very kind and even helped us with restaurant recommendations! We'll definitely be back :)"
NH Barajas Airport
"The room was nice and spacious, and quite clean. The front desk staff were very welcoming. Although it's near the airport and a bit far from the city center, the subway is very convenient, and the hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport. The breakfast was also good! The price is cheaper than in the city center, making it great value for money and highly recommended!"
Catalonia Atocha
"The pros: the location is good, there's a lot of stuff nearby. The room was medium-sized, and I booked a balcony facing the street. We didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on it. It's €23, and you can have it at a cafe across the street. You can get breakfast and coffee for €7 at the cafe. The cons: they don't provide robes and slippers, and they still haven't brought them. My friend was given a coupon for Cava, but we weren't given one. They brought candy and other goodies to our room. They never brought us anything in three days."
Hotel Villa de Barajas
"Good location"
Ibis Madrid Calle Alcalá
"Good location but the hotel is really old"
Leonardo Hotel Madrid City Center
"The location is quiet and within walking distance of the city center. I arrived early and they were very accommodating, offering an early check-in, but I declined as the ground floor room was too close to the gas station. So I had to wait until 3 PM, which was fine as I went out for a meal and came back just in time. The hotel breakfast was exactly the same for all three days, honestly, I don't think it's worth booking – there are plenty of coffee shops nearby. Other than that, it was decent value for money."
Spark By Hilton Madrid Alcalá
"The service was great! Everything was very clean and the location was good. You have a Mercadona supermarket a 1-minute walk away, and restaurants about 7 minutes away, which is very convenient. The only downside is that it's far from the city center, but overall, it's excellent. Plus, it has parking! ✨"
