GGuest UserA nice and clean boutique hotel on a quiet street. Walking distance to Salamanca, the higher end shopping/restaurant area. The reception was very efficient at check in. Breakfast was really good - you get a buffet with a decent selection plus you can order eggs/main from the menu.

I had an incredible stay at UMusic Hotel Madrid! From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and truly dedicated to making guests feel special. The hotel itself is spotless, with a modern, catchy, and vibey concept that makes it stand out. The design, the atmosphere, and the music-themed touches throughout the hotel create a unique and energetic experience.
The location is fantastic—super easy to get around, whether you’re exploring the city or just looking for great dining and entertainment nearby. But what truly made it special was how comfortable and welcoming it felt, like a home away from home. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend for anyone visiting Madrid.

MM278342****The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation, very close to both the subway and bus stations. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, artfully designed, tidy, and clean. Downstairs, in Plaza de España, you'll find statues of Don Quixote and Cervantes, figures familiar to Chinese people. Just a small heads-up: the Nespresso capsules come with a charge. Also, while many highly-rated tapas restaurants downstairs on platforms like Xiaohongshu offer generous portions, the taste is quite ordinary. What impressed me most was how incredibly nice, thoughtful, and attentive all the staff were. I'll definitely choose Vp Plaza again on my next visit to Madrid!

JJasem AThe location of the hotel is excellent and very convenient for exploring Madrid. Check-in was swift and efficient, with great service from Daniel, which set a positive tone upon arrival. Check-out was also smooth and well handled.
The breakfast area and service were good but could use some improvement, both in organization and attentiveness.
Concierge service was good.
All front desk staff, bellboys, and door staff were excellent.
Unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly impacted by the condition of the room/bathroom. Housekeeping services and room cleanliness were extremely poor, to the point that it ruined what could have otherwise been a pleasant stay. Cleanliness is a top priority for me and my family and one of the main reasons we choose 5-star hotels, and in this regard, the hotel fell far short of expectations.
This was particularly disappointing given that we had communicated with the hotel prior to check-in, yet the issue was not addressed despite the repeated and daily requests!
I will not go into details nor post pictures out of respect, and just I hope that the hotel will pay attention to this.
While some departments clearly made an effort, the lack of basic room cleanliness overshadowed those positives and ultimately defined the experience.

WWojiaotuyuI booked the hotel a month in advance, and they kept sending confirmation emails closer to the due date, asking about my dining preferences, etc. The service was excellent; they usually sent emails in both Chinese and English. I booked the hotel for my boss, and he gave it a good review!

The breakfast is superb, the menu is delicious and varied.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is superb!!!! We walked all day! Everything is close to the hotel.
The only downside is that the large towels smell awful! It's as if they were washed and left wet for a long time; they've gone rancid and smell really bad. We need to throw them out and buy new ones.
We'll definitely be back! A great hotel.

MM ChuahWe stayed at The Madrid Edition while celebrating my friend’s 40th birthday in Spain, and it was the perfect choice for the trip. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special and well thought out.
The hotel kindly surprised us with complimentary cava and a birthday cake, which was such a lovely touch and made the celebration even more memorable. We had also requested a flower arrangement in advance, and it was done beautifully—exactly as we had hoped.
The location is another huge advantage. The hotel sits right in the middle of the city, making it extremely convenient to walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping areas. It made exploring Madrid effortless.
What truly stood out was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The only small downside was the room ambience lighting felt a little too dim at times. Aside from that minor detail, everything—from the lobby and facilities to the rooms—was excellent.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend The Madrid Edition to anyone visiting Madrid, especially for a special occasion.

GGuest UserStaff are friendly and helpful. We had problems in charging our car. We asked for help and they came in a minute to help. Carpark is just in the basement and so we could unload luggages and took the lifts from basement up to our room floor directly. Very convenient.
Room : spacious
Breakfast : not worth, only few varieties.
Cleanliness : looks clean in general. But I think the hotel should pay more attention to the 'little things'. One spoon in the room and a plate in the breakfast restaurant had dirt.
