I like the welcome note mentioning my name in my room. I like tastefully decorated room although its small. It was far better than my expectations as it is rated as a 2 star hotel. Another hotel I booked via trip.com (Lisbon city hollywood hotel) is rated 4 star but I would rate it 2 star, its over rated. Also Room mate mario Madrid is in excellent location just 2 minutes walk to metro (Opera) and Opera. Few minutes walk to Royal palace, plaza Mayor and few more landmarks and attractions. Room mate mario room and bathroom was nice and clean. Bed, Bed sheets, pillows and hand wash, face milk were good quality like 4 star hotel. Negative facts are, very old buildings, lift is narrow made for 1 person, difficult to locate your room. Also staffs can be better, kitchen staff do not understand English. I really appreciate tasteful room deco and hotel’s ethical and honest approaches. Thank you.

The location is convenient. The staff are friendly I like the public area on the ground floor, if there could be more charging place would be nice. However, only 2 bathroom for 12 people is not enough. One of the bathroom only have cold water and the sink is outside the toilet. I think it is a fair option for such a price in the city, still there is an improvement. If you are a solo traveller that need a short stay, it is an acceptable choice.

A surprisingly nice experience. I stayed in a mixed room for 8. Everyone was quiet and neat. The bathroom and toilet is very clean. The staff Arecia was very friendly. I’d stay again.

A Pleasant Stay with Warm Hospitality It’s always a pleasant stay at this hotel. Although it's a budget hotel, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I especially want to highlight the young lady who assisted me during check-in—she was so kind and welcoming. She provided me with all the necessary information about breakfast locations, nearby laundry services, and more. That was very helpful and much appreciated. The hotel's location is also very strategic. There are plenty of eateries nearby, and it’s close to both the bus and train stations. The room itself was simple but clean. Everyone at the hotel is polite and friendly, which made my stay even more enjoyable. If I could suggest a few areas for improvement, they would be: 1. Provide a kettle in the room – Hot water for drinking is important for me, and having a kettle would be very convenient. 2. Install proper blackout curtains – This would help guests sleep better by blocking out excess light. 3. Offer laundry services – Having an in-house laundry option would be useful, especially for longer stays. Other than these suggestions, everything else was perfect. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay and truly appreciate the warm hospitality shown by all the staff. Thank you!

This hostel offers a very good balance between price and quality. The room, bathroom, sheets, and towels are clean. The location is very central, yet it is completely quiet on the third floor. Check-in may be complicated for non-Spanish-speaking guests, as you do not receive any information prior to arrival. Shampoo and shower gel are provided. The air conditioning is new and works very well. This place opened in 2023.

good hostel, very minimalist. I booked a dorm with 6 people, was placed jn a dorm of 14. but the location is great as its literally around the corner from the city center and the staff are friendly as well!
