Anonymous Usercomfy place, nice staff, but you need to bring your own hair dryer. Sometimes it’s noisy downstairs but acceptable for me. People here are super nice and outgoing. A bit far from metro but close to attractions. 2 supermarket nearby, super convenient.

Herminio Andres AlijaThe best thing about this hostel is the staff, who are always very friendly and willing to help.
I am not sure if they are running with a reduced team, but the room is being cleaned later than before. This was the first time I shared a room with a team of your men that was far from hygienic and properly civilized. Therefore, tardiness in the room cleaning service left no one able to stand the bad smell from sweaty clothes, sneakers, and shoes scattered everywhere, as well as the remains of food, and who knows what. Common showers and toilets are being affected by a lack of maintenance and a budget shortfall: shampoo not refilled, no shower carpets, the shower hanger broke and was not replaced, damage to the shower and WC doors, the dining room floor has deteriorated, etc.
These issues are not severe, but it is a matter of time before the management takes proper measures.
Regarding the dining room floor, it is a pebble floor in a historical building maintained on a very low budget, which means the magnificent mosaics are repaired, losing the original drawings, simply because the assembly team works under time pressure and lacks quality control. Where before they had beautiful compositions with elegant colors, they are now starting to get randomly replaced tiles that no longer follow the pattern (the tiles are there, but not in the right place). It is starting to affect the building's historical architecture.

We had a mixed experience staying here. On the positive side, the hostel was clean and in a really convenient location, which we appreciated.
However, there were a few issues that made our stay quite uncomfortable. Our room didn’t have a proper window, which made it feel very stuffy and poorly ventilated, and unfortunately it triggered our allergies, which we mentioned to the receptionist. The bed was also quite stiff, and the pillows were very thin—we had to fold and stack them just to be comfortable.
Noise was another challenge. The neighbouring room seemed to be having a party at around 3am, with very loud music and audible conversations, which made it difficult to sleep.
The staff were polite and friendly, but we didn’t feel we received much practical help when we raised our concerns. We tried to cancel the remainder of our stay due to these issues, but were advised to go through the booking platform. We did this but our request ended up pending for some time as the ”hotel was being contacted” and was eventually declined, which was frustrating.
In the end, we decided to check out earlier than planned and book alternative accommodation.
Overall, while the cleanliness and location were great, the lack of ventilation, comfort, and noise control made it hard for us to fully enjoy our stay—especially as we were there for our honeymoon.

ChuWLVery nice hostel located near the metro and walkable distance from Cibeles (City stop for Airport Bus) and Atocha (Train station for departures to south Spain).
Separate toilet, sink, and shower, is always a sign of good hostels.
Could be better if there were individual curtains for beds and nightstand or ledge to put small items

The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The only thing that for the price you pay was waiting a little more in the room (the dust had not passed in several days and I am allergic, the bed header was unspoken, there was some walls shaved, there was only one night mel and was damaged). A positive point was that there was a diffuser for the dryer, that is almost a miracle.

Thomas WuThis hotel is about a 12-14 minute walk (850 meters) from the train station (which has a metro connection). Hotels in Madrid are generally expensive with small rooms, so the only real perks here are the convenient location and relatively new facilities. I chose it because I had an early high-speed train the next day.
I also bought breakfast, but it was incredibly disappointing. I'd highly recommend skipping breakfast here – it doesn't even compare to a B&B breakfast and definitely isn't worth the price.

This hostel offers a very good balance between price and quality. The room, bathroom, sheets, and towels are clean. The location is very central, yet it is completely quiet on the third floor. Check-in may be complicated for non-Spanish-speaking guests, as you do not receive any information prior to arrival. Shampoo and shower gel are provided. The air conditioning is new and works very well. This place opened in 2023.

Anonymous UserThe accommodation was clean. They don’t have a lift, but it’s alright to walk a few stairs. Shared bathroom and toilet. Water for showering was hot enough. There is a fan in the room. The location was close to a 24 hour supermarket. The downside is that there was not water boiler for people who need hot water:( but overall it’s good
