Spa Hotels in Madrid

I had a nice stay here, The room was clean and cleaned every day. The pool was lovely to cool off in and if you can score a lounger - even better. There are many good place to eat very close to the restaurant, and a great chinese about 7 minutes walk away from the freeway. Good airport shuttle service.

Shopping is more convenient, the Chinese restaurant downstairs is awful, and the afternoon tea in the garden is OK. Said it is a suite, but it is not. Just a low screen separating the bed and the sofa to the suite? ! The room cleaning is done well. Breakfast is relatively monotonous

We got an awesome room, great location and super Fun pool. It’s super popular with the Instagram crowd and they cater a bit to them. But everyone is super nice and friendly, treated our kids lovingly although they accidentally threw away our baby’s lovie and couldn’t find it later which super sucked. The bathroom flooded because it was so full of hair from previous guests, kind of gross. Got an absolutely terrible night sleep because you can hear every single Thing in the hotel from next door to above you. They seemed to be vacuuming rooms at 1:00AM above us and moving furniture which was super loud. Food was great, service was excellent but alot of snotty people.

As a Marriott Titanium / Lifetime Platinum Elite Guest, our family [husband, wife and two young daughters] decided to visit Madrid, Spain to start our month-long 2023 summer vacation in Europe. We spent five (5) nights at Westin Palace Madrid using our Bonvoy points in late May / early June 2023. Please see the thirty-eight (38) photos we posted with this review of all aspects of the hotel. Within days after making our five (5) night stay using Marriott Bonvoy points approximately ten (10) months prior to our arrival date, we emailed General Manager, Pablo Flores and advised him of our future stay as well as our special requests, including our request for an Executive Suite, which would comfortably host our family of four. Within hours of our email, we received a thoughtful reply Paloma Hidalgo, Director of Rooms, whom immediately provided us with a complimentary guaranteed upgrade to an Executive Suite and further, Ms. Hidalgo readily granted all of our other special requests. The prompt response did not come as a surprise to us given how active the management of this property is in reading and promptly replying to past guests on Trip Advisor as well as the Marriott Bonvoy website, which is but a mere sign of management’s commitment to exemplary customer service. Not surprisingly, we were overjoyed with such a response and really looked forward to our future stay at The Westin Palace Madrid. This gorgeous historic hotel is magnificently located in Madrid overlooking the Neptune Fountain and less than a three minute walk to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, less than a five minute walk to the Prado Museum and less than a ten minute walk to the Reina Sofia Museum. It is also extremely close to Retiro Park and is within an easy 15 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and the Gran Via as well as many bars, restaurant, trendy cafés, market and other cultural attractions. You can easily walk everywhere throughout the entire city but public transportation options abound in close proximity to the hotel as well. Our initial visit to the Westin Palace Madrid did not disappoint, especially when the hotel accommodated our extremely early check-in (before 9:00 am). The check-in process with Ms. Hidalgo, Estefanía Martinez, Front Office Assistant Manager and Juan at the reception desk was a breeze. Further, Ms. Martinez was kind enough to personally escort us to our suite and show us all of the features and amenities of same. This was very thoughtful on the part of Ms. Martinez and very much appreciated. Throughout our entire five (5) night stay, Ms. Hidalgo and Ms. Martinez were especially helpful and friendly. We simply loved our Palace Executive Suite with slightly over 1,000 square feet in total space with a sublime view of the Neptune Fountain; it was truly remarkable. We were a little disappointed with our stay. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was the proximity to the airport. Unfortunately, we had to pay 20 Euros for a taxi to catch our flight departing at 6am as the hotel’s free airport shuttle doesn’t start until 5am. There are very few amenities near the hotel. We were also hoping to weigh our suitcases before checking out but the hotel has no sets of scales. In hindsight, we would have been better staying in the city for another night.

Excellent customer service, large comfortable rooms and a perfect city centre location close to the Metro and easy walking distance to the main city sites. The rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, the restaurant had a wide variety of well priced good quality food, and the staff were friendly and helpful

I was seduced by the pictures on their website of the pool thinking it would be a great place for my daughter to play. I was disappointed to learn that not only was there an extra charge to use the pool (they didn't even let me look at it without paying) but it was for adults only. The wall between the bathroom and the bedroom is glass and the door to the toilet and shower is glass, so if anyone uses the bathroom at night, the whole room lights up, not to mention there is no privacy. Would be really awkward if you are traveling with colleagues sharing a room in this hotel. There are no perks like water in the lobby or other amenities. I will say however, that the breakfast buffet was pretty good.

Ruthlessly efficient, a touch underwhelming. Restaurant staff were excellent, friendly and helpful in very busy circumstances. The hotel shares its facilities (except the check in desk) with its neighbouring hotel. For example the (tiny) bar, restaurant and gym are next door. The spa however is in this one as is the breakfast room. Vending machines are outside. Rooms are very clean, but absolute bare minimum is given. Two paper cups, two teabags and a sliver of coffee. Bathroom, the world’s smallest soap bar and some gel in a dispenser. Noise also travelled through the hotel so I was woken up by movements in the next door room. In the common areas there was an overwhelming scent of air freshener that was oppressive, it needs to be toned down.

The service is average, but the location is good and convenient for visiting surrounding tourist attractions. The hardware facilities are average.

My staying in this hotel was beautiful. Location is very good, service is excellent. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern, very clean, breakfast is very good too. All foods was fresh and tasty. But only one question: why spa is available for additional charge in such level of hotel? But in general I'm satisfied and come back to this hotel with pleasure.
