My family and I had spent one night at Regent HK and we had a wonderful time there. The hotel was new and has a the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The harbour view was just stunning, and we enjoyed our time celebrating my son’s bday at this hotel. The front desk staff especially Ray Cheung, were fantastic. He was particularly friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. We also went to the outdoor heated pool and had an amazing time. The staff and service were just great. We’ll definitely go again very soon.

Rating: 10/10 We booked two rooms at the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, and my parents were extremely satisfied with their stay. They stayed in a room with two large double beds, and everything was perfect. The view from the room was breathtaking, and the room size was spacious and very comfortable. All aspects—service, facilities, location, and cleanliness—were absolutely top-notch, deserving a full 10/10. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and luxurious stay, especially for families!

Living up the legend and an iconic Historical Luxury that could endure International Standards, from the hardware maintenance to the overall ambiance and interactions with the staff to all little details. Amenities from all Narumi to silver wear to International TV channels etc. The hotel staff was well-trained in the Hong Kong style of hospitality, being efficient and eager to resolve any guest issues promptly with clear communication. I have always wanted to experience the Peninsula’s hospitality, and I am glad I finally had the opportunity. For seasoned travelers, this is definitely the Choice! This isn’t for the casual traveler who measures their adventures by price tags rather than the rich tapestry of experiences that come from authentic details.and the cost of this level of hospitality. Pre arrivale: Even though I booked through Ctrip, I would prefer if the room setup included more English options instead of being entirely in Chinese. I hope this can be addressed for future stays. Thank you! Sorry I didn't take many photos 😅

When I pulled up in my taxi at noon, there was no one to take my luggage or greet me. There were no porters at all. I saw an employee helping to load another group of guests’ luggage in the car at snail's speed. Even after, he just stood there and completely ignored me. My taxi driver was dumbfounded and I had to open the door myself and carry the luggage inside while the employee watched; there were several staff members inside who did not bother to come out and assist. Later during my entire stay, I was not greeted once entering or leaving the property. The staff did not even bother to smile and just stared at me, unlike how they treated other guests.  Check-in was friendly and efficient. I was offered to sit down and hand the staff my ID and credit card. The room, however, wasn’t ready initially, so I was told it would be ready in half an hour. Luckily, the wait was shorter than that and I was escorted to the room and given a friendly room tour. During the stay, except for check-out, the porters were not proactive in opening the door and sometimes ignored me, and did not smile either.  The first impression of the room was how small it was. Contrary to the advertised 730 square feet, it doesn’t feel nearly as large. The bedroom area was like any regular five-star hotel room that has a large bathroom. Certainly would not be mistaken for a suite or even a junior suite. For a hotel that is widely publicized for the size of the rooms, this is questionable. The bathroom and closet area in the end are unnecessarily large and redundant. There is not a proper foyer. The furniture is well-maintained despite beginning to show its age. Television was fairly obsolete and had sound issues. Switching channels would make the sound either quiet or loud. One thing to be noted here is that this hotel offers adult films on Television. Families with children should be aware. Compared to newer hotels, there are no wash-lets with bidet. The carpet was visibly stained across the room and there were scratches inside the closet. The air conditioner was hard to control and wasn’t working on the first presses. Even when it’s turned off the ventilation in the room is still not off. I still wake up feeling cold. One caveat was that the hair dryer had a scary burnt smell and only worked if you tilt it in certain ways. My “mountain-view” room, was met with very little privacy. Neighboring skyscrapers of the Pacific Place and others take up most of the views and are within very close view. If the windows are two-way as they say, the people in the office towers could see clearly what goes on in the rooms. Overall, not a pleasant view to have. I did not get the nice mountain view in the advertising pictures. This is without question one of the worst rooms in the hotel.  There is a mandatory escalator which you will have to take to get to the rooms. This alone would be a reason not to return as I find it not very luxurious. The lobby area was also minuscule with little seating and pieces of luggage were stowed in public areas visibly.  Room service was consistently underwhelming except for a fantastic steak meal. Dan-Dan noodles were gooey and stuck together and tasted rather bad as well. Creme caramel was small in portion and had too much of an egg taste. Breakfast waffles were overpriced ($178) and mediocre. I would have to say each time I called, the operator was nice and well-spoken.  The check-out process was efficient but cold and informal. I was not offered to sit down like during check-in. Porter was quick to get the car door for me. But my luggage was not loaded in the car when I asked them to and I had to wave to them to load it. The car nearly left without it. Overall I find the hotel to be overrated and overpriced. I did not feel like a valued guest and I can not see myself returning. The intention of this review was not for a better treatment in the future or any comp stays as I would rather stay elsewhere when I’m in HK.
