"The hotel is located on the top of Longji Ancient Zhuangzhai Mountain. It is very beautiful to watch the sunrise or the sea of clouds, and standing on the balcony to pull a telephoto, you can take pictures of the terraced fields everywhere. Although there are many B&Bs on the mountain, not many of them are of good quality. I personally feel that this is the only one. The chef at the hotel tastes good dishes, especially the bamboo tube chicken and spring water chicken. I also want to give a thumbs up to the aunt in the hotel. Because of the high location of the hotel, we still need to walk a ladder to reach the mountain. The aunt of the hotel helped us carry our luggage up and down the mountain. I was really moved and thanked. It is recommended that those planning to stay in this hotel should not bring too much luggage. Finally, it is a pity that I did not see the sunrise this time, but I shot a scene where the mountains and clouds are moving, which is also very beautiful. You can watch and share videos and photos."

"This year's Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day is really unforgettable. Super traffic jams, Guangzhou departure at 10 pm on the 28th -30 to Longji Heshe Hotel at 1 am.
But this hotel is really worth praise 👍 It is worth 100 points for the human touch. The room booked on the 29th night was booked. Due to traffic jams, it arrived at 1 am on the 30th. I called the boss to get the room at 1 am. I heard that the boss was sleeping so late on the phone, but I was not impatient at all. Also took the initiative to help us with our luggage 🧳 knowing that we hadn't eaten dinner yet, and cooked supper for us.
The room is large, the toilet is large, very clean, very close to the parking lot and the cable car.

"I just had one of the best stays of my travel here! The scenery from our balcony alone was incredible. the staff were super friendly and cheery, although they didnt speak english that wasnt a problem as we got invited for family dinner and drinks despite the language barrier and had a great evening. The food was incredible too, you should try the braised pork belly! Only reason why i didnt give full rating is that the wifi was almost nonexistent and didnt work for me or my friend but the mobile data signal was good in the area anyway."

"The reviews were absolutely spot on: the owner has impeccable taste, is incredibly kind, and truly goes out of their way to accommodate any request. I highly recommend the Sunrise Loft room. The hotel is perfectly situated between Viewing Platforms #1 and #2, giving it an absolutely unbeatable, prime location. Even though there were only two of us, we booked the 4-person loft room, and it was fantastic to lie in bed and watch the rice terraces. Unfortunately, a typhoon brought rain, so we missed the sunrise. However, we were treated to a vast and ethereal sea of clouds. Despite this minor regret, the trip was still incredibly worthwhile. The owner's homemade rice wine is absolutely delicious – cold, sweet, and refreshing. Enjoying it with tasty dishes like bamboo chicken was truly one of life's great pleasures. When we arrived, the owner kindly picked us up from the parking lot. On our departure, we were rushing to Yangshuo, and the owner recommended a driver who was not only charming but also incredibly skilled, navigating the winding mountain roads with impressive ease. Later, when we hired a car in Yangshuo, the local driver, upon hearing the price we paid for our transfer from the hotel, immediately exclaimed it was an incredibly fair deal. The owner is truly exceptional!"

Upon closer inspection, I realized all the flowers in the room were fresh and real – a testament to the owner's exceptional dedication and thoughtfulness. What truly amazed me next was the panoramic view. Pushing open the sliding doors, I gazed out to see beautifully terraced fields stretching into the distance, bustling with people working – a truly vibrant scene. Beyond that, majestic mountains loomed, softly veiled in mist, painting a serene, ethereal landscape. It took quite some time for me to fully absorb the spectacle even after returning to my room. The hotel service made me feel completely at home; the staff were warm and polite, yet never intrusive. They masterfully balanced attentive hospitality with respect for personal space.

GGuest UserThe B&B is located on the top of the mountain, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows for close viewing of the terraced fields. The distance to the two viewing platforms is very close. The room pictures on the platform are real, with a simple style, integrated with the surrounding natural environment, and more beautiful when you are there. The boss is a local, a kind and simple ethnic minority, and he cooks delicious food. When you chat with him, he will tell you about the local folk customs and tell you where it is more worth visiting. It is a very good accommodation experience.

TTuan Ying GohHad such a pleasant and memorable experience at this inn. The boss, Mr Yu, is super down to earth and sincere. He cooked super well too - taste is just nice, not too oily or salty. And all his ingredients are fresh from his farm, even the chickens and fishes. What a farm-to-table experience. As it is the low peak season now, he could sit down and have good chats with us.
The room is huge, with an unblock mountain view. It’s also near to viewing point 2. There’s this cute inn dog who is so loyal.
The room is well kept, with a balcony for you to sit and sip wine or tea. Note that there are insects because we are by the mountains but you could bring your own repellent. We slept well here.
The driver, Mr Yang, who drove us up Long Ji also stayed at this inn. We asked that he drives us around for the three days we are here and send us back to Guilin city. His driving skill is very stable and he’s very well-versed with the mountain roads (as he’s a local).
What can I say, this experience is simply too memorable. Human relationships forged is the magical part of travel. Would highly recommend you to come experience this inn for yourself (of course during the peak season, the boss might not have time to sit down for a chat).
在这民宿住了三天两晚，也是我们会记很久的回忆。余老板人很善良，也烧了一手好菜。食材都是新鲜的。房间搭理地很干净，我们住的很舒服。床是大床，阳台也很大。我们两个在那儿早上做瑜伽，听鸟叫声，简直太舒服了。看看老板烧菜，和嘟嘟（狗狗）玩，再和它去观景台看看。看杨师傅煮竹筒饭，煮笋，山上生活好惬意呀。这个人情味，回味无穷。

GGuest UserThe owners and their family were incredibly warm and hospitable. They proactively helped us with our luggage and even offered convenient pick-up and drop-off services to and from the parking lot. Waking up, we could enjoy the breathtaking 'Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon' scenery directly from our balcony. Dining in the restaurant was also a delightful experience, boasting equally spectacular views. And the breakfast? It was incredibly generous and delicious – truly fantastic!

LLeonie WigleyI had an absolutely wonderful stay here. I went out of season, so I was the one of the only guests for two days, this made if even more special. if you travel during rainy season make sure to have rainboots and rain proof coats etc. The nights and mornings can get very cold so prepare warm clothes. The family helped me from booking a local shuttle bus from Yangshuo to arrive and departing and also picked me up on my day of arrival from the park entrance. The Homestay is quite far up the hills, not very easy to find you need to carpool or ask owners to help with scooter ride, but the views and people make it all the worthwhile. It is close to many hiking trails and view points. The family welcomed me with so much love the room was exactly as it said. Their food and pricing is also very affordable. They family is of the local ethnicity and they gave me an up-close view in their lives and their traditional ways. I tasted their rice wine, chilli paste , traditional tea and bamboo rice and many other delicious foods. The owners and family are very helpful and if you have any questions, or want to know more of need to get to a certain part of the area they are happy to help. This family and their black dog filled my heart with so much love and gratitude. Note for for foreign travelers: They don't speak English, but do not let this scare you if you are a foreigner, translator apps are helpful if you can't understand the language.
Overall, I highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil and family-like feeling enjoy the outdoors and nature. I will definitely be going back!

GGiulia 何俊蜓Our experience at Baike Hotel was simply great! The hotel is very very very beautiful, clean, and furnished in the local style. The view from the terrace and from our room was amazing, and very peaceful. The food was also delicious! Plus, Jason and his wife have been extremely friendly and helpful in answering to our questions, helping us and in giving us suggestions on how to tour around the area. Upon our request, Jason also helped us arrange a transfer from the Airport in Guilin to the hotel, a transfer from Ping’An to Dazhai (to do the 15km hike back), and a transfer from the hotel to our next hotel in Yangshuo. I speak some Chinese, but a plus for those foreign tourists who do not speak any Chinese is that Jason speaks a great English, so no need to worry about language barriers at all! Overall, we 100% recommend this hotel! We had a wonderful and unforgettable experience, and should we ever come back to Ping’An, we would definitely come here again!! 🤗💯💯💯

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have come to Longji. I lived on the edge of the Five Tigers in Kowloon last time. I didn’t climb to the mountain much. However, that one is a mountain view, that is, the room does not have terraces. Therefore, this time I want to say that I will try it in Ping'an Village. This should be an old hotel, but the sanitary landscape is first-class. Although unlike the Kowloon Five Tigers, you can take the shuttle bus to the hotel entrance, but this one will only take two minutes to get off the bus. The hotel’s food is cooked by the proprietress. The hotel’s pick-up service is the boss’s own responsibility. The bed linen and bath towels are very clean and the water is very hot. The large balcony is even more direct to the terraces, the price is super high, it is recommended. Figure 1 and 2 are taken from the balcony, super beautiful. . By the way, there are many shops on the Kowloon Five Tigers that borrow folk costumes, a set of 20 yuan, really, come here, it is still very good to borrow a set of photos.

JJulieHad an incredible stay here! The views are stunning (probably one of the best out of all the other accommodations nearby), the room was clean and the service was friendly. It's a family owned business and everyone is lovely. If you're taking a bus, it won't drop you all the way to the hotel but if you give the hotel a call, someone can come pick you up from the bus stop. I had a bit of a miscommunication with my previous hotel who arranged a coach for us that dropped us off at a very far away drop off point and someone still came and picked us up from there with no complaints (and did not charge us for it)!! We were also dropped back off at the bus stop on the day we left. No one spoke much English which made it a little harder, but we got by with a translator app. There are quite a few stairs to go up to get to the hotel which isn't great if you have lots of heavy luggage so I'd recommend packing lightly if possible. Having said that, if you have average fitness, you should be fine getting up and down the stairs, the trek is not too long. The views are definitely worth it! Would stay again for sure.

The room can see the sunrise. There is an open space under the hotel for free parking. If you have luggage, you can ask the boss to help you take it up. Dinner is in the store. The freshly-cooked chicken is super delicious. One person can't finish a chicken, so the boss lady suggested saving half for the next day. One chicken, two ways, both are delicious. The boss also gave half a glass of homemade wine, which is sweet and super good 👍🏻
