The front desk even offered me tea and tissues, which just goes to show how excellent the service is. The hotel also provides free breakfast, kids' toothbrushes, and slippers, truly demonstrating their thoughtful hospitality. They were very patient when answering my questions, and the front desk staff even recommended some fun places nearby. The bathtub room had separate shampoo and shower gel, along with a disposable bathtub liner – so incredibly considerate! I absolutely loved how soft the hotel slippers were. The hotel facilities are also very complete; delivery services can reach right outside your room door. Even the cleaning staff in the hallway greeted me, giving a real 'home away from home' feeling. Oh, and the hotel lobby is also decorated very festively. The value for money is truly high, and I would definitely stay at Chenduo Hotel again if I'm ever in the area.

The room did not match the website description. Although the front desk helped resolve the issue, I am not entirely satisfied. I hope the website can provide more detailed descriptions to avoid misleading guests into making incorrect bookings.

Situated in a superb downtown location in Shenzhen’s commercial and shopping district, there is only a 5-miniut walk from Shangri-La, Shenzhen to the border crossing to Hong Kong, and the city’s subway station, bus terminus, main railway station and Lo Wu Commercial Shopping Centre is just moments away.

The hotel is fine and the staff were generally lovely. The room was clean. The restaurant on the second floor and the pool area could be cleaner. The chairs and the tables in the restaurant can be cleaner.
The sushi is not really sushi it's a gelatin blend of something.

The service was great, and the room's TV had movie subscriptions. The robot delivery for room service was very fast, and the power didn't cut out when I left the room temporarily. The hygiene was good, and after washing my clothes, the front desk even helped put them in a bag for the robot to deliver to my room. It offers good value for money, and it's within walking distance to the border crossing. It's located right behind the Shangri-La, making it super convenient for trips to Hong Kong.

This was my first time staying at an audio-visual themed hotel, and Qingmu completely blew my expectations out of the water! The location is right in the heart of Dongmen, making it incredibly convenient for evening strolls and shopping. There are convenience stores and bubble tea shops everywhere you look. The front desk service was meticulous and thoughtful; they proactively explained how to use the in-room audio-visual equipment, and any questions I had were answered swiftly. The room was exceptionally clean – no musty smells or cigarette smoke. The bedding was fluffy and soft, and the pillows were just the right height. The huge projector screen paired with the surround sound system made for an amazing experience, whether I was screen mirroring or watching a blockbuster; the picture quality was vibrant and crystal clear. The soundproofing in the walls was excellent, blocking out street and crowd noise, ensuring a quiet and peaceful night's sleep. Hot water was instantly available, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with no standing water, plus amenities were replenished promptly. The price is affordable, yet the facilities are high-end, making it perfect for both couples and small gatherings with friends. I’ve already saved this place – Qingmu will definitely be my top choice next time I'm in Shenzhen!

My recent stay at the Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu Hotel was enchanting from the moment I arrived. The doorman promptly opened the door with a welcoming smile, and the high-ceilinged lobby, infused with a subtle fragrance, instantly melted away my travel fatigue.
In terms of facilities, the guest rooms perfectly blend modern simplicity with a cozy, quality feel. The mattress was just right, neither too soft nor too firm, complemented by high-thread-count linens – once I lay down, I didn't want to get up. Smart home controls managed everything, from lighting modes to curtain operation, all at my fingertips. The bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area, a deep soaking tub, and a rain shower with a soft, consistent flow. The toiletries were from a renowned fragrance brand, exuding an elegant scent. The room also came equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and a well-stocked minibar, while the desk offered both USB and wireless charging.
The public areas were equally impressive: the 24-hour gym was fully equipped with towels and mineral water, the heated swimming pool was always crystal clear, and the executive lounge offered a superb view, making it an excellent spot for business meetings or quiet reading.
The service provided by Eden and Mina was exemplary. My preference for a high floor, noted during booking, was not only met but I was also upgraded to a scenic corner room. During check-in, the front desk staff presented the room key with both hands and patiently explained the restaurant opening hours. The bellboy escorted me to my room and even adjusted the air conditioning. Throughout my stay, whether in the hallway or restaurant, every staff member would stop, smile, and greet me. The turndown service not only drew the curtains and prepared slippers but also left a handwritten weather forecast and a calming tea, adding a wonderfully personal touch. Once, when I asked for directions, the concierge immediately pulled out a map and meticulously planned my route, even marking the subway exits, which was incredibly reassuring.
Cleanliness was rigorously maintained down to every nook and cranny. The bed sheets were spotless and crisply ironed, the carpet was deep-cleaned with no odors, and the bathroom faucets and glass shone brilliantly, even the floor drain was clean and smooth. Housekeeping followed strict protocols, with all items bearing disinfection seals, and staff were constantly, quietly wiping handrails and elevator buttons in public areas, providing great peace of mind, especially during these times.
The location is uniquely advantageous, situated in the heart of Luohu, with a subway entrance right downstairs. It's within walking distance of shopping malls like MixC, and surrounded by numerous old-established eateries. The room's soundproofing was excellent; closing the window immediately shut out the hustle and bustle. Through the floor-to-ceiling windows, I could admire the Diwang Building, Luohu Port, and the winding Shenzhen River. At night, the city lights sparkled, offering a tranquil escape for a restful night's sleep.
From the hardware to the human touch, the Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu Hotel delivered an experience that exceeded expectations. That feeling of being well taken care of without being intrusive is truly the best gift during a journey. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Shenzhen.

The room boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, offering fantastic natural light. Outside, there are mountains, water, and idyllic countryside views (reportedly already Hong Kong territory) – a rare sight in Shenzhen's bustling urban center. The hotel has some history to it, giving it a charming sense of age: on the second and third floors, there's a collection of historical photos featuring various heads of state and cultural figures who once stayed here, reflecting the hotel's storied past and rich heritage. The staff provide excellent service, always greeting guests warmly and proactively offering help. Overall, it feels clean, comfortable, and safe. A new vegetarian restaurant just opened in the lobby with a 'buy one get one free' opening offer for 49 yuan. The food selection is diverse, economical, healthy, and a great solution for a quick bite. Also, I recommend checking out the background painting behind the panoramic elevators in the lobby; under the lights, it emanates deep and rich colors, reminiscent of敦煌 (Dunhuang) murals!

The hotel makes you feel the warmth and comfort of "home" during the trip.
SSandrea_Sass2026.06.15
The room was pretty decent and clean, and the staff was nice to give me a bigger room as I've got 3 pax. The only 2 issues are the Wifi is very bad, basically no connection even when Wifi connected. Also, you got to pay to watch the TV channels! This is the very first time I am encountering such thing for a hotel. They only allow you to watch for free for first 5-10mins, then after a payment QR pops up. I am talking about their normal China TV program, not those Disney+ or Netflix channels. CCTV, jiangsu channel etc you got to pay. As such, I will not return to this hotel next time, as basic local TV program should be a complimentary item in a hotel. 看普通当地电视频道也要钱,这个我不能接受。

It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

HHuashinaibaobeiI was in Shenzhen Nanshan near Nantou Ancient City and absolutely fell in love with this Qiuguo S hotel! The service was incredibly warm, and check-in was super fast. The hygiene was also top-notch, with no strange smells in the room. The smart 'Xiao Du' assistant was fantastic, letting me control the lights and air conditioning right from the bed. There are two adorable, fluffy cats in the lobby, and they offer a self-service breakfast and a laundry room. Plus, there are tons of places to eat and shop nearby. I had a wonderful stay!
GGuest UserTraveling to Shenzhen with my family, we stayed in the family room at Futian Huanggang Intercity Hotel, Shenzhen, and it was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it for families with children.
The family room was incredibly spacious and well-designed, offering separate sleeping areas for both adults and children, ensuring everyone had their own space and privacy. Our whole family felt relaxed and comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, free from any strange odors, and the hygiene details were impeccable. The lighting was excellent, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic view of trains passing by at night, creating a wonderful ambiance.
The bedding featured high-end Sealy mattresses, which were both soft and supportive, and there was a choice of pillows, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable sleep for both adults and children. The smart home controls throughout the room were a hit with the kids – they loved using voice commands to turn lights on and off, open and close curtains, and adjust the air conditioning. It added so much fun and joy to our stay.
The bathroom was well-appointed with a separate shower and plenty of hot water with good pressure. After a day of sightseeing, a hot shower was just what we needed to wash away travel fatigue. The hotel even provided disposable bath bags, which was a nice touch for cleanliness and peace of mind. The quality toiletries and soft, skin-friendly bathrobes made the experience comparable to a high-end luxury hotel.
The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by Metro Line 7, making it super convenient for getting around and catching trains. The service was warm and attentive; check-in at the front desk was efficient, and any requests were promptly addressed. The staff were all polite and friendly.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to the subway station, making both transportation and shopping incredibly convenient. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the mattress was just right – neither too soft nor too hard – ensuring a fantastic night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and efficient. Overall, it offers great value for money and I highly recommend it!
GGuest UserI was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations.
The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy.
The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building.
For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet.
Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers.
There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests.
The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated.
The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall.
The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great.
For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering staying in the area.
Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel.
However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!
GGuest UserMy overall experience at JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an was excellent, and I'd especially like to thank Guest Service Specialist Reina. The check-in process was efficient and smooth. Reina was professional and meticulous, proactively understanding my business travel needs. She thoughtfully arranged a quiet, high-floor room for me and patiently explained the hotel's office amenities, internet usage, and local business travel information. The room was clean and elegant, with complete office facilities, comfortable bedding, and good soundproofing, allowing for a restful night after a busy day. During my stay, I contacted Reina for some last-minute needs, and she responded quickly and handled everything appropriately, communicating with a warm and polite demeanor. Her service throughout truly showcased Marriott's professional standards. The hotel's location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the overall environment is grand and comfortable, suitable for both business meetings and short breaks. Reina's attentive and thoughtful service was incredibly heartwarming. I will definitely choose this hotel first for my next business trip.
GGuest UserPros
- Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre.
- Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far).
- Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes.
- Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too.
- Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do.
After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services.
- Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly.
- Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi.
Cons
The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms:
1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms.
2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking.
3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time.
It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard.
I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself.
Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.
食食好玩好,人生就好The overall experience at Shenzhen Junting Design Hotel was fantastic! The lobby has a great artistic vibe, simple yet luxurious and very stylish – perfect for a quick photo op. The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, equipped with smart voice control devices. The King Koil mattress is just right, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast on the 14th floor offers a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options. The lobby also provides complimentary tea and drinks 24/7. The service from the staff (Tibbers) was warm and attentive. The hotel is conveniently located near a commercial district, making travel easy, yet it's quiet despite being central. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen.
RRouroudelvxingFacilities: The design is truly excellent, giving off a full resort vibe, perfect for taking photos.
Environment: The location is also great; it's convenient to get to Dameisha Beach by subway.
Service: Very good, they upgraded our room for free.
Breakfast: They have everything you'd expect. The freshly made egg and rice noodle rolls are recommended. There aren't many drink options, but coffee is available.
Hygiene: Overall, the hygiene was OK, but this time I found a stain on the duvet cover. However, the staff quickly responded and changed it.
GGuest UserOur whole family came from Hong Kong to celebrate our child's birthday. We pre-ordered a cake online and had it delivered to the hotel. We informed the concierge beforehand, and they were incredibly thoughtful, helping us receive it and carefully placing it in the fridge to keep it fresh, saving us a lot of hassle. The family room we booked exceeded our expectations; it was fully decorated with charming cartoon themes and even had a small tent, which our child excitedly played with the moment we walked in. The hotel lobby has claw machines, perfect for keeping the kids entertained. The concierge also proactively gave us detailed recommendations for kid-friendly attractions nearby. The room itself was spacious and bright with a great view from the window. The interior decoration was cozy and soothing. There was a variety of pillows on the bed, including neck support pillows and soft pillows, ensuring a very restful sleep after our long journey. The staff were all very kind and attentive, from helping store our cake to offering comprehensive advice on local activities. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were excellent. Overall, our birthday trip was very relaxing and comfortable.
