"Over all the experience was fine however i think there is chance of improvement that can take the hotel to totally new level. Negative feedback: Rooms needs to be renewed for real and make it matching more with modern rooms, room have clear smell of old rotten clothes, but room service was still doing amazing job on cleaning the room and make it smell better , but once the air fragrance is done room smell back again, I don’t recommend first floor in the center for families with kids as literally so noisy and can keep hearing people keep going and coming and can wake up your baby, but i can only blame myself as i choose to be in center. The pools is nice but the Island resturant requests operations is weird Its called pool restaurant at the same time they ask you not to come wet and dont come from pool side directly to the restaurant!!! So why your making a ladder directly from pool to restaurant then ask guests not to use and go all around to to to the restaurant. I had an emergency and wanted the clinic as my son finger was hurt and went there and it was closed and not working with no time or schudele added in the door Lucky for me the resturant manager behind the clinic helped me out and got me some stuff to solve issue Thanks Mr Ahmed along with the pool boy. Positive feedback: Best service ever everywhere specially at the main restaurant i even went to best hotels in Egypt before didn’t get an amazing services like this, every one of the stuff literally helping from the heart and makes you feel welcomed Keep up the amazing work and work the negative feedback definitely would come back and next will be 10 out of 10 enshallah"

There is no beach in the hotel, but the issue is resolved by using Jaz Makadina beach using the open bus (tut-tut), which is also a great place. It was a great vacation. "Grand Waterworld Makadi Hotel — Everything is top-notch. The grounds are vast, well-maintained, and immersed in greenery. The water park is a delight in itself: slides for every taste, scheduled for adults, no lines, you can ride all day long. The room was spacious, with a large terrace. They cleaned it every day, the linens were fresh, no hassles. The food options include restaurants for every taste. We were especially impressed with the a la carte menu (Italian and Turkish – finger-licking good). The main restaurants also offer delicious and varied dishes, always offering fish, meat, seafood, and plenty of fruit and desserts. Relaxing here is pure pleasure. Complete freedom, peace and quiet when you want, and entertainment when you want. In the evening, there's live music in the lobby bar, a pleasant atmosphere, and you can sip a cocktail overlooking the sunset. The staff is friendly and discreet. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. I'll definitely be back! The hotel truly deserves a solid European five-star rating."

"The hotel boasts a wabi-sabi aesthetic, with beautiful details in every corner. The sea-view villas are spacious, the breakfast is delicious, and the service is excellent. The only drawbacks are the lack of other facilities and activities within the complex besides the swimming pool. The pool water wasn't sufficiently heated in winter. Also, the hotel is a 12-minute drive from El Gouna city center, and waiting for a tuk-tuk can be quite time-consuming. If I were to choose again, I would prefer to stay in El Gouna city center."

"We had an amazing holiday at this hotel definitely a 5* The hotel and grounds public areas, pools, bars. restaurants and toilets were immaculate.The hotel had everything you need lots of things to do day time activities kids clubs and. evening entertainment. The rooms and bathroom were a little dated but the soft furnishing were good and the rooms kept very clean by the cleaning staff, with adequate supplies of toiletries, bottled water soft drinks and tea and coffee making facilities All the staff were so friendly, polite, and nothing was too much trouble. What really stood out was they did not hang around for tips but we tipped them all as the service was so good. Every single member of staff worked so hard. Some staff went above and beyond. A special mention to our waiter in the restaurant he so looked after us. A fair choice of food suitable for all nationalities in the restaurant there was always some main that I could find to eat. There were so many salad, bread and desert choices and plenty of drink choices too soft drinks, local spirits and cocktails. Everyday there was a snack , ice-creams drinks by the pool. We were able to eat in one of the speciality restaurants as part of our all inclusive, We chose the Italian restaurant we sat out to eat in lovely surroundings over looking the fish pond the food and the staff and the service were all excellent. All the pools were clean and nice to have a choice, the only tiny negative thing I have to say was the water was absolutely freezing at this time of year it should have been heated. There were plenty of life guards around the pools and the others waited on you by fetching towels laying them out looking after you by putting the sun umbrella up. The bar staff waited on you fetching drinks both at the pool and in the hotel. The location was perfect for a relaxing holiday. A safe promenade which takes you to some restaurants and shops and a small marina. You can go for a lovely walk or hire a golf cart approximately €15 Euros per hour which is good fun. There are a few piers where you can either stroll along or you can snorkel and here you see some beautiful tropical fish. We did book a taxi through a Limousine and taxi booking desk in the hotel we had a bad experience we reported it to the Guest Relations team Karen and Riri in the hotel. They were so efficient professional and helpful they resolved it for us. A big thank you to them and thank you so much to Riri for checking on us several times and making us feel like valued guests."
