Hot Springs Hotels in Litang

The service of this hotel is very considerate, which makes me feel at home. The hotel environment is also very good, giving people a sense of tranquility and comfort. From the moment you enter the hotel, the smiling welcome from the service staff makes you feel comfortable and happy, and the experience is very good. There is also breakfast. The porridge cooked by their chef is delicious. We also had yak soup pot that night, which tasted very good. It was absolutely delicious and highly recommended. This hotel is so lovely! The boss was also very enthusiastic and introduced us to local attractions. They were all places we had never been to. They were super nice. Come on, guys!

堵車太晚找到這家民宿，本來感覺路途遙遠，但是到了以後真的很意外，服務員很熱情，幫我們拿好行李指揮好停車，而且提前幫我們開好地暖，房間很大也很有特色，老闆和老闆娘都很熱情，給我們介紹民俗，值得再來，強烈推薦，完美邂逅！

We stayed only one day in Litang (way too short) but had a fabulous time, and the people from the guesthouse were definitely part of this! This is a real ‘homestay’, with a large common space for people to gather (see the picture), super friendly service from everyone working here, beautifully decorated rooms with high quality sanitary and amenities, and an oxygen machine in every room (useful at an altitude of 4000 meters), … We wanted to go from from Litang to Shangrila and the owner helped us fetch a ride - highly appreciated! Recommended.

The hotel environment is very good. You must stay in the Cordyceps Hotel when you come to the Cordyceps hometown. The room is clean and sanitary, the breakfast is very rich and tastes good. It is said that you must not stay overnight here when you come to Litang for the first time to the plateau, but it is actually OK. There is oxygen supply and there is no major discomfort. I got up at six in the morning and looked at the starry sky in the hotel dam. I haven't seen so many stars for a long time. It's comfortable.

This hostel is under different management than what many reviewers have previously written about. The big drooly dog is gone, staff were helpful, and the room clean and comfortable. We were stuck in Yajiang without transport to Litang, and the hostel owner sent a car from Litang to pick us up on short notice. In many other small things they were helpful. Location is off the main tourist strip, which we liked. There is construction opposite so keep that in mind if you like to sleep in - with two small children who were quite happy watching “construction TV” we didn’t mind. Clothes washing facilities were great and we were able to hang everything out in the sun afterward. Very useful given we are cycle touring and don’t have many clothes! Ronin gave us each a small hand-made gift on departure, which our kids loved. He and his staff made us feel welcomed and cared for. They are slowly fixing up some things clearly left in a poor state (like the bar building) but with COVID still affecting tourism in China I guess they need to prioritise. We had a great stay and highly recommend this hostel - thanks Ronin and team!

Advantages: I stayed in a homestay with a bathroom. I thought it would be a squat toilet like the one in Gongga. I didn't expect the room to be very good. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with a toilet, a large shower, and dry and wet separation. The sink was outside the bathroom and equipped with a large makeup mirror with a light, so the bathroom space was very reasonable. The room was also very clean and tidy. The disadvantage is that there are few tables or no stools, and there is no place to put things. It is recommended to add two chairs, or a few types of furniture that can be used as luggage or bags.
