"Truly outstanding. Had a great 4-night stay with family here at Banyan Tree Bluewaters. The location is awesome, the location is walkable to Marina Beach and all the shops/restaurant via the bridge, and at night, it was a very pleasant walk. The hotel's facilities are awesome, smells good, refreshing, but relaxing everywhere. That really reminds me of Bali. The pools are nice and my kids really enjoyed it. The restaurants, especially Aliseezee (?), are so good and upscale. I had a half-board package and i think it's totally worth it. Would definitely be back to Banyan Tree, either in Dubai or other locations."

The hotel's location in Al Habtoor City is fantastic—right on the Dubai Water Canal with stunning skyline views. The exterior is impressive, especially at sunset, and the modern lobby welcomes you with elegance and efficiency. The absolute standout was attending La Perle by Dragone—Dubai's must-see aquatic acrobatic show, conveniently located right in the Al Habtoor City complex (just a short walk from the hotel!). The custom-built theatre is incredible, and the performance blew me away with jaw-dropping dives, aerial stunts, motorcycles, and mesmerizing water effects. It's a perfect blend of artistry, athleticism, and theater—truly unforgettable!"

But everything else was terrible, especially the cleanliness, the horrible smell in the rooms, the soundproofing, and the bedding. "Free Airport Shuttle (T1 & T3): Surprisingly on time and easy to find. Just ask the hotel for their time schedule. My only issue is that during my return flight, the bus driver dropped me off at the arrival area and I got lost in the airport 😅 Check-in: It was a breeze. Hotel scent: It smells good but it is not comfortable on the nose (compared to Okada and Shangri-la scent). Location: Near the airport and walking distance to the metro, Deira mall (sometimes open till 1am), restaurants, and other shops Amenities: pool + gym + conference room + laundry room + work area + play area + locker room with weighing scale + vending machine + convenience store Toiletries: No free slippers + toothbrush + toothpaste but they have body wash + shampoo/conditioner + hand soap Internet: It was fast but the FB video call keeps on dropping. Dunno why. Breakfast: good selection but you'll easily get tired of it if you are staying in the hotel for a long time. They also provide TWG tea. Dinner: Their baked salmon and chicken butter are really good. Tours / Forex: The hotel offers paid tours and currency exchange. Hospitality: All of the staff are nice and friendly. Free Bus: There is a free bus to Dubai Mall, beach, etc. Just ask the hotel for the schedule Note: Rove Hotel has various locations in Dubai. If you want free airport shuttle + easy accessibility, choose the Deira City location. If you want the beach, choose the La Mer Beach location. If you want IG worthy views, choose the Downtown location. Taxi/Careem: If you'll take a taxi or Careem from the hotel to the Marina/Downtown/ Helicopter area (vice versa), you'll spend ＞=$30 per trip 😅 But Dubai is really expensive in general. Prepaid: Unlike in other hotels where you can pay during your arrival, you have to pre-pay your booking on Trip. Moreover, I was charged more than the amount because of the Mastercard surcharge issue coz Trip does not have a bank account in my country."

"Whilst Makati Palace is not in the most salubrious part of Manila, the staff at the hotel absolutely eclipse that particular setback by a mile. Anne, Ashley and the rest of the front office team are fantastic. The security second to none and you always feel safe and secure. House Keeping are amazing and will clean your room daily if you want them to, to a high standard. The price is well worth it and the rooms are clean and tidy and some rooms have been recently refurbished. Highly recommended for someone looking for a good business base at a great price!"

"My experience at Studio M Al Barsha Hotel by Millennium was absolutely terrible from start to finish. This place is a complete disappointment and nowhere near what it pretends to be. The hotel cuts corners everywhere, and it shows. First of all, charging 30 AED per day for parking is outrageous. This alone tells you everything about their attitude toward guests — they will charge you for anything they possibly can. For a hotel of this level, parking should be included, not used as another way to make money. The overall service is poor, the management clearly doesn’t care about guest comfort, and the experience feels cheap and stressful rather than relaxing. Instead of enjoying your stay, you constantly feel like you’re being taken advantage of. Nothing about this hotel justifies the price. Between the hidden costs, lack of proper service, and disappointing atmosphere, it’s simply not worth it. There are far better options in Dubai that actually respect their guests. I would strongly advise everyone to avoid this place unless you want to waste your money and ruin your stay."
