We stayed in Ibis for 2 nights. The hotel is good, rooms a bit old but cozy, have everything you need. We had first floor and windows looking to the garden. The location is 5 min walking distance from Insurance Company metro station which is so good. Area is also nice, there is mall and a lot of cafes. There is also Carrefour next to the hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel , yet I took a hot shower and I left the door open when I was showering and security guards came to my door and were rude and barged into my room to check yet I was only wearing my towel and when they left they left the door open so I would like to complain regarding this matter .

The hotel was very clean and the room was bright. Its location near the old town's financial district was convenient, just a 10-minute walk away. Daily cleaning was thorough. We even got a room upgrade, and the two large beds were very comfortable. The only minor downsides were that the room was close to the street, making it a bit noisy during the day (though fine at night), and the central AC was quite loud, but turning it off helped a lot.

I usually never complain, and if I do write reviews, they are always positive. But this instance is different; I was deeply hurt and offended. Overall, the hotel is decent and close to the metro. However, one receptionist treated me in a very insulting and disrespectful manner. I don't want to write her name—it starts with ”Hyp...”—but she seems to be a senior staff member there. She called me an ”escort.” She did this right at her workstation—repeatedly and loudly—as I walked past her from the street toward the elevator. She was standing at the reception desk hurling insults at me in front of other guests. Yet, I have never worked as an escort in my life; I am a respectable woman. I don't know what provoked such hatred in her. Men also work at the reception desk; I would occasionally approach them to extend my booking. Perhaps one of them is her husband, and she was jealous of me? But I never gave any reason for that—I simply extended my stay and went back to my room. Or maybe she just hates blondes. In any case, treating hotel guests this way is unacceptable. Especially considering I stayed there for over a month, from June to July 2026. She ought to remember that her salary comes from the money guests pay to stay at the hotel. She likely insulted me to make me leave. My English isn't very good, but I believe I was told she wanted me gone so badly that she fabricated a pretext and went to the police to complain about me. She told them I was paying for my room using some obscure cryptocurrency. But I had paid officially through a major international booking site. When I was questioned about it, I explained everything. It was really unpleasant, though, that she went to the police and badmouthed me in an attempt to get me evicted. I’ve never encountered such a negative attitude at any other hotel. On other occasions, she simply refused to speak to me. Whenever I approached, she would either be busy talking on the phone for a long time or staring at her computer, ignoring me completely. However, the other receptionists—Prana and Renu—were helpful and treated me well.

Overall, the hotel itself is quite good, especially considering the price we managed to book it for. In this city, hotel prices are generally unreasonably high, so this option felt like a fair deal. What was good: - The hotel honestly deserves around 4 stars. - Good and varied breakfast was included. - Rooms and facilities match the category. - The hotel is located close to a metro station, which sounds good on paper. Major downside: location - Despite being near the metro, the surrounding area is terrible. - The road leading to the hotel is in very poor condition. - There are no proper sidewalks — moving with a suitcase is extremely uncomfortable. - Dust, dirt, construction sites everywhere. - The area feels neglected and unpleasant, especially for travelers. Final thoughts: The hotel itself is fine and could be a good option if it were located elsewhere. Unfortunately, the environment around it completely ruins the experience. Honestly, after this trip, I don’t see myself ever coming back to this city.

I randomly picked City Palace Hotel on Trip.com and was a bit nervous about staying there, but it turned out to be far better than I expected in every way. The room was well-equipped and clean, breakfast had a great variety, and it was convenient for getting around. The price was also reasonable, making it a top choice for business travelers in Dubai. Everything just fell into place perfectly.

The hotel is definitely worth every penny. The area is peaceful and quiet, which made the whole experience very comfortable. The rooms are beautiful, well-maintained, and the toilets are clean and fresh. Overall, great value for money and a place I would happily stay at again.

look i really not happy 100% but i like very much the customer service they are good staff friendly and trying hard to please the customers. The other bad things is the smoking the smell of it is everywhere you go

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stayed at Abjad Crown Hotel and really enjoyed it. The rooms were neat and tidy, and the staff were super welcoming and always ready to help. The overall service was smooth and pleasant. Yes, it gets a little noisy at night because of the clubs downstairs, but if you don’t mind a lively vibe, it actually adds to the atmosphere. Great value for money!
