"The hotel left a very pleasant impression. I'd like to highlight its key advantages, which made our stay comfortable and delicious. Pros (things that really impressed us): 1. Location: The hotel is in a very convenient location. What's also valuable is the peace and quiet. It's not as crowded as Station 1 or 2, but all amenities are easily accessible. 2. Room: We had a wonderful room with direct access to the pool. This is a huge plus: you can jump right in the water in the morning or sit by your mini-terrace in the evening. The room is clean and comfortable. 3. Staff: A special thank you to the hotel staff. They are very kind, conscientious, and do their job well. All requests were resolved quickly, with a smile and a genuine desire to help. You can feel their genuine care for their guests. 4. Cuisine/Breakfast: Breakfast was included in the price and was a real highlight of the morning. Very tasty, filling, and varied. But the biggest discovery was the vegetarian breakfast. It was so delicious and filling that I ordered only that for the last few days of my stay. A major drawback / Beware (personal experience): Be careful when leaving the hotel grounds. There are tour vendors (excursion vendors) standing near the hotel. Unfortunately, they're not very reliable. We encountered them actively pushing services, and then they might change the terms after the deal. I recommend either booking excursions in advance at trusted locations or ignoring the guys at the entrance to avoid ruining your mood. Bottom Line: Banana Bay Boracay is a real find. It offers the perfect balance of price, quality, peace and home comfort. The amazing staff and hearty vegetarian breakfasts made our stay almost perfect. I'd return without a second thought, but I'll be giving the vendors at the entrance a wide berth."

"Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay, along with Shangri-La and Crimson, boasts an exclusive white sand beach. The main advantage is the peace and quiet, allowing guests to fully unwind and enjoy a truly relaxing 'lie-flat' vacation. The downside is its somewhat remote location. While you can book the hotel's shuttle service for transport, the frequency is limited. **Area:** Not particularly large, centered around the pool, with the beach accessible directly from the pool area. **Rooms:** Considering the room quality and size, they don't quite justify the price. They're comparable to blue-ocean hotels but significantly more expensive, and the overall hotel area is smaller, making it poor value for money. Its main selling point is undoubtedly the private beach. Near the Crimson area, there are reefs where you can try snorkeling. There are fish, though nothing large, and I even saw a moray eel – a nice little activity you can enjoy without having to go out on a boat. There are private small boats for rent at 300 pesos, which are great for a ride, and watching the sunset from the sea is absolutely stunning; the ocean here is incredibly beautiful. In the afternoon, there are often some dance activities on the beach that you can join, and from 3-4 PM, the restaurant offers afternoon tea, perfect for re-energizing before continuing your water activities."

"The hotel is in a good localization because just few meters from Dmall, place with supermarket, restaurant, massage and stores. Also from a good part of the beach. The staffs are gentle, always smiling. But they could be more pro active saying that the transfer to go back to airport MUST to be request one day before that you are leaving the hotel, even when your fly is at night. They asked to us to find a way back to airport by yourselves. Sometimes the staff forgot to replace face towel the good part they didn't in the last day of check out, because probably the hotel should ask as to pay for it."

"Friendly and helpful staff. Very quick response to room requests and room service. Fire dancing is very good. Clean rooms and hotel grounds. Breakfast buffet is average. Had to hunt down coffee most times and toaster was broken entire 8 days. They won’t put out any new food after 9am even though buffet lasts until 10am. Small pool and no area to sit around pool. Room was ok but needs upgrading of furniture and closets. No way to get transportation to hotel lobby from street you have to walk quite a distance to the beach from for the entrance. Great beachfront location where all the action is on station 2."

"The hotel is quite worn out and, especially during holidays, not worth the money. Our room was in building B; it was spacious and quiet, making for a comfortable sleep. However, the windows faced an alley between buildings, so very little daylight entered. The air conditioning worked well but was very noisy. The internet worked fine in the lobby and on the beach, but it was very weak in the room. There are a few sun loungers and cushions on the beach, but you need to claim them by 8 AM, or even earlier. By 9 AM, everything is usually taken. The loungers don't have soft mattresses. You can get beach towels and mats from the lobby if you don't manage to get a sun lounger. There's an infinity pool on the rooftop where you can watch the sunset away from the crowds, but there are only a few loungers there too, so you also need to get there early. Breakfasts include various types of meat, scrambled eggs, rice, fruits, pastries, toast, coffee, some sweets, and vegetables. Overall, you'll be full, but everything is cooked with a lot of oil. I wouldn't recommend having lunch or dinner here or ordering food by the pool; there are many cafes and restaurants nearby where you can eat delicious food. In the evenings, there's always some entertainment at dinner, like music or a fire show. The hotel is located in the most central part of Station 2, just steps from D'Mall, with Epic and Om clubs nearby. However, for us, there were too many people, especially from sunset onwards. There were also many vendors offering their services and goods, which got annoying, and many people just strolling around or sitting on the beach. It was noisy and lacked any sense of privacy. Cleaning consists of changing towels and emptying the trash."

"Airport transfers to and from Cardiff were seamless. After exiting the arrivals hall, turn right into the covered corridor and wait for your arrival with a sign. The service was very attentive; every staff member greeted us proactively. Room service was available. The room was fantastic, with toilets and showers on both floors, and a small outdoor pool. However! A word of caution: this room type is on the third floor, and there is no elevator. Traveling with elderly people should be approached with caution. Climbing stairs every day is exhausting, and they may not want to leave the house."

"The service at Shangri-La is incredibly thoughtful, and they respond to emails very quickly. This time, they even provided a dedicated shuttle service. The overall experience was wonderful, and the location is excellent – perfect for a quiet and relaxing stay!"
