Clean room with clean beds.
Toilets is usually a challenge for many guests including me. Their toilet is clean with minimal amenities. Water pressure is great.
Balcony is wonderful.
Room door to balcony is not very secure and tight thus the wind will sips through and do not feel scared during the night if you hear “sounds”…
Only 1 lift to all levels.
No breakfast available, many restaurants around at a few mins walk offers. Mac is only 1 min away.
Security: after 8/10pm, the main door will be locked and need key card to tap. This is very good!
There is a casino which has jackpots machines at main level. Can contribute to their economy. I did.
Dinner at the hotel is decent with good pricing. Worth trying.
Overall, this is a hotel I will recommend. Go for it!"

AAnonymous UserThe place was comfortable and good enough for a long stay. Tho the room service don't clean everday but give extra towel good for the next day. Stayed here for a week. Very near to eating places and convenient store.
The room was big and bed was comfortable. Very minimalist design, cool.
Their shower gel doesn't lather tho. Had to get a different one outside.

On the downside we were right ontop of the bar so unless you like thumping music until midnight, request a room elsewhere … otherwise loved the resort feel atmosphere

GGuest UserA real hotel, the room rate is 175 USD, the accommodation is similar to the 7 Days Inn in China. Although the surrounding environment is quiet and clean. But the room is 10 square meters, the bathroom is 2 square meters, and only bath towels, hand towels and soap, shampoo, toilet paper, hair dryer, password box are provided. There are tea and coffee, but I had diarrhea after drinking them, probably because they are expired. The hotel does not even have bottled water, because Australian water is directly drinkable. Bottled water is available, but most of it is bought by Chinese. There is a public kitchen and laundry room, and you need to pay coins to wash clothes and sell laundry powder.

GGuest UserAs we have never stayed in a hostel type of accommodation we knew we were gong to have our own bathroom before we were pleasantly surprised to have a room with a television, tea making facilities and china & cutlery. The weather was extremely hot and to have a modern fan was also a bonus.
The building was old so the facilities were adequate - the bed was firm, the linen was rather thin but the towels were newish. Have had worse towels in a motel.

GGuest UserWe have stayed at the Mercure formerly Travel Lodge and was mainly pretty good except for Saturday night when Manly NRL team were playing and we couldn’t get a park even though we paid for parking. We had to park in a handicap bay but luckily didn’t get charged. Later in the night we were woken by someone banging on the fire escape door near our room as well as slamming doors.

The hotel is above the pub, which is also very busy in the afternoon.
There is also live music there on Sundays until around 9 p.m.
Everything is perfectly fine, unless you have room 10 next to the washing machine/dryer and sleep next to the ventilation. Even though drying and washing is not allowed after 9 p.m., it was very annoying.
The hotel rooms face the back, so in the morning you also have the noise from the loading area of the supermarket.
On the positive side, the room was in a modern condition and the staff were all very nice.
The beach is a ten-minute walk away.

GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the beach and has a beautiful environment. There are many restaurants nearby, but the rooms in the hotel are relatively dark. If you are afraid of the dark, please do not choose it because there are only two very few lamps to support the light source in the hall. We have reported it to the hotel, but they said there is no way to solve it.

GGuest UserSuper location and nice reception. Something bright, I was wake up at 3 o'clock by a washing machine or similar. Unfortunately we had our room (giant column under the door) at the entrance to the kitchen, so we heard everything & smell. Otherwise super sweet room :) for 1-2 nights 👍

FFindingFlowRight on the beach, location can’t be beaten, price is worth it compared to other hotels “near” the beach. There wasn’t any view from the room but that’s fine! The room was modern, chic design, clean. Staff were attentive, friendly and respectful! Will definitely recommend and stay again when I visit Manly again.

GGuest UserThe interior and the shower needs to be updated, very old and outdated. The floor in the shower fills up quickly and not running down the drain fast enough which was quite unpleasant to experience. The place needs heating or a heater as it can get quite cold during the winter. The queen bed was comfortable and warm and the room was spacious for 1 person. The reception is friendly and always smiling although it would be good to know in advance if my single bedroom that I booked for another booking so I didn't have to lugged 2 luggages and my handbag with my laptop into up and down the stairs as there are no lifts. I was surprised that a woman knocked on my door at 9:45am that she was ready to get into my room when in the booking, it says check out is 10am. That made check out a very annoying experience for me. The location is great as it's a short walk to the beach and Cronulla centre.
