XiaoyouyouA perfect and comfortable stay to conclude our Sydney, Australia trip. Upon landing at Sydney domestic airport, I saw on Google Maps 🗺️ that the hotel wasn't far 🏨, so my son and I walked there, which took about 23 minutes. The moment we opened the door, we were amazed. It felt just like coming home. The front desk staff were also very good and nice. Finding food around the hotel was very convenient, with Northeastern Chinese, Sichuanese restaurants, and Asian supermarkets. A large Australian WWS supermarket was also within a 10-minute walk. Mascot train station is within walking distance, and it's just 5 stops directly to Circular Quay, known as the most beautiful station in the Southern Hemisphere. Our 3-night stay was absolutely fantastic! 🈵

PuwuFirst stop in Sydney! Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the hotel. The location is unbeatable; it's so convenient to get anywhere, perfect for a city walk. It's also very friendly for fashion lovers.
The lobby isn't maintained very well, it only looks good when the lights are on at night.
We were upgraded to a super awesome ocean view room this time, which made me really happy!
I highly recommend the hotel's breakfast and the dinner buffet – both are top-notch in Sydney.

펭리[Location & First Impression]
Just two blocks from George Street, the main thoroughfare, so the location is truly excellent. As it's a hotel with cooking facilities, there was no typical hotel air freshener scent in the lobby or room, which was a plus. Early check-in was available for a fee, but I decided not to proceed with it.
[Room Condition & Heating]
The room does have a balcony, but it faces the building opposite, so there's no privacy. It was a shame having to keep the curtains closed even during the day.
The air conditioning/heater was set to a maximum of 24 degrees Celsius and couldn't be adjusted higher. While this might be fine for Westerners, Koreans might find it a bit chilly, so please keep that in mind!
[Payment & Deposit Notes]
I put down a deposit with my credit card at check-in, and on the day of check-out, a $4 charge appeared. I'm now waiting for the authorization to be cancelled.
[Amenities & Supplies]
Bathroom: The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were of excellent quality, which I was very satisfied with. A shower cap and hairdryer were also provided.
No slippers, no complimentary bottled water, no bathtub.

Guest UserThis stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is super convenient for getting around by taxi or public transport, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was bright and sunny, spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was dry and odor-free. The bedding was fluffy and soft, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff were gentle and polite, and check-in/check-out was very efficient. When I needed extra slippers or drinking water, they were quickly brought to my room. All the facilities were well-maintained, with stable hot water and smooth internet. It's perfect whether you're traveling solo or with company, offering great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

Guest UserThe room is spacious, perfectly fine for two people. It's located near the street, so occasionally there's loud motorbike noise, but other times it's very quiet. The fridge is a bit too cold; the bottled water I bought turned into thin ice after half a day, which was hilarious! The bathroom floor can be a bit slippery, both barefoot and with shoes, if there's water on the ground, so do be careful. The view from the room's window is lovely. There seems to be a small park opposite with a beautiful tree. The morning and evening sun reflects into the room, which is very therapeutic.

Check-in is until 10:30 PM. I arrived at Sydney Airport at 9 PM and then had to pick up my rental car. I got to the hotel around 11 PM. I had previously contacted the hotel via Trip.com to let them know I would be arriving late, and it was no problem at all! The friendly lady warmly welcomed me. She just asked for my ID, then gave me my key card. Parking is free. When you check in, you can park your car for a few minutes to the left, opposite the office. Once you've checked in, you can use your key card to open a gate to park your car. It closes again for security. So, to enter, just hold your card to the right of the office, and the gate will open. To exit, there's a control panel on the right; just press it, and the gate will open. Parking spaces are fine, even for Suzukis. Right next to the parking spots, there's a staircase that leads to your room. On the downside: no elevator.
Room amenities: 2 shampoos and 2 conditioners. Fresh towels. The bathroom takes a bit of getting used to. The tiles are in a dismal state, and if the bathroom door is left open, there's a constant light from outside. There's a sink with hot water, but the mirror is to the left of it. A hairdryer is provided. The bed is comfortable and large, easily fitting two people. There's also an additional bed to the left of the window, though its purpose isn't entirely clear to me. The walls resemble a prison. A TV is available. There's a kettle, instant coffee, and tea, along with spoons and cups.
Opposite the bed is a large mirror. The air conditioning only works sporadically.
Pros: Close to the airport. Free parking, affordable prices. Private bathroom. Aldi is a 20-minute walk away.
A few huge spiders (by European standards) visited me in the room ;D
Verdict: Perfectly fine for one or two days.

Guest UserThe receptionist wanted to give a terrace room with no doors/privacy even for an expensive month long booking. Despite confirming that we will be provided with a proper one bedroom apartment with seperate living and bedroom area. The receptionist made unnecessary comments during check in process which were rude. On requesting to speak with the manager, later, a proper room was assigned. But he made sure to comment that the room being provided is only for their VIP guests. One would assume that, someone booking for a month long stay should automatically be given one of the best rooms. Overall, the check-in process was unprofessional and was only handled in that way because the receptionist thought they can get away with such behaviour. The property location is good and overall a decent stay otherwise. But one reception staff in particular needs a serious correction of behaviour.

OK for one night.
The hotel is above the pub, which is also very busy in the afternoon.
There is also live music there on Sundays until around 9 p.m.
Everything is perfectly fine, unless you have room 10 next to the washing machine/dryer and sleep next to the ventilation. Even though drying and washing is not allowed after 9 p.m., it was very annoying.
The hotel rooms face the back, so in the morning you also have the noise from the loading area of the supermarket.
On the positive side, the room was in a modern condition and the staff were all very nice.
The beach is a ten-minute walk away.

We had a brilliant experience at the Langham for our wedding anniversary! I forgot how much I like the Langham brand. From the pink ribbon around the toilet paper to the sleep ammenities (we asked for the sleep pillow mist and the room diffuser) to the suggested third eye massage technique and the chamomile tea before bedtime, we felt totally pampered and taken care of. Reservation was made for our celebratory dinner with fine steak dinner over the fantastic view of the Opera House. In room breakfast was delivered on time and the quantity copious. The Spanish bell boy was helpful and friendly. We were also upgraded to a harbour view room to our delight. Location was convenient to walk either to Barangaroo or the Rocks, for ferry ride or metro. Very pleased to have chosen The Langham, it was absolutely the right decision for us!

Reasonable price, but the hotel looks a bit old and has an unpleasant odour. The carpet definitely needs a deep clean, and the air conditioner was dripping all night. The one good thing about this hotel is the excellent customer service. Car park was great, overall it ok.
