"I stayed at The Jensens and while the location is undeniably ideal, close to everything you need and in a vibrant, convenient area, the stay was let down by a major issue.
The soundproofing isn’t great, with doors frequently slamming throughout the property. However, given that it’s a hostel-style accommodation, this was something we were able to accept and move past.
What wasn’t acceptable, though, was the presence of rats in the walls and ceiling above our room. We were woken multiple times each night by loud scratching and scurrying noises, which was extremely unsettling and made it very difficult to sleep. We also have audio recordings that clearly capture the extent of the problem.
It’s a real shame, as the location is fantastic, but this issue seriously impacted our stay. I would strongly recommend that management address the pest problem as a priority."

"The room was clean and tidy, perfect for a solo traveler, and came equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and some basic dishes and cutlery. The location is also very convenient; it's just a 3-minute walk to Green Square train station, making it super easy to get to the airport or the city center. This is my third time staying here!"

The lobby area looked pleasant and had comfortable seating with space to work while waiting. We arrived early around 9 am, though the check-in time was 3 pm, so it’s better for guests to check this beforehand. The front desk team was friendly and arranged early check-in around 12:30–1 pm. There are several small shops and food options nearby, which was convenient. Overall, a good stay and a nice place to explore Sydney. (Room view, bathroom, lobby, and window view photos attached.)"

"Taking a ride-sharing service from the airport to the hotel cost AU$30, which was very convenient, and the journey took about 35 minutes. The hotel is located right off the main street, so it's very quiet at night. There's a police station just one street over, which made me feel safe.
Room service only replaced some towels, yellow coffee capsules, and other amenities; there was no actual cleaning.
Toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers are not provided in the room, so please bring your own."

onlinelilyExcellent hotel! The rooms are quite spacious, and come with a fridge, kitchen, and stove, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel is super conveniently located; just a few minutes' walk to the right is the train station, bus station, a large supermarket, and various restaurants. It's easy to get anywhere from here. It's also very close to the airport, accessible by taxi or train. The cheapest option is the bus, which also goes there. It's incredibly convenient!

PuwuFirst stop in Sydney! Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the hotel. The location is unbeatable; it's so convenient to get anywhere, perfect for a city walk. It's also very friendly for fashion lovers.
The lobby isn't maintained very well, it only looks good when the lights are on at night.
We were upgraded to a super awesome ocean view room this time, which made me really happy!
I highly recommend the hotel's breakfast and the dinner buffet – both are top-notch in Sydney.

Facilities: The air conditioning only has an on/off setting, no fan speed adjustment. If you turn on the AC, you have to put up with a very loud noise, and even when it's off, you can still hear the exhaust fan. Service: When checking in, the front desk staff took my credit card. The POS machine was right there on the desk, so if they needed to verify my card was a Visa, I could have easily shown it to them myself. Instead, they took my card out of my sight, which was very unsettling. Even though they later let me check in early before the official check-in time, it had already soured my mood. The location is very convenient, and the decor is quite new.

The two-bedroom layout was spacious, clean, though sharing a single bathroom among four adult was a minor inconvenience. A thoughtful gesture from the hotel made our stay even more special—they surprised my son with chocolate treats and a birthday card upon check-in, which we truly appreciated.
The location is excellent, close to many attractions, and the convenience of having a shopping mall right downstairs with restaurants and a supermarket added to the ease of our stay. Overall, it was a delightful and comfortable experience.

Guest UserWe had an amazing honeymoon stay at Pullman Sydney Hyde Park! The room was gorgeous and the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They helped us sort out sightseeing plans around the city and even recommended an online same‑day Hunter Valley wine tour, which turned out to be a highlight. Big thanks to the whole team for making our honeymoon so memorable. Highly recommend!

The hotel location is very convenient, right next to the train station and light rail. There's also a lounge where you can relax and enjoy free hot drinks. On Saturday nights, if there's an event at the bar next door, the soundproofing isn't great, but it always ends promptly at 12 AM.

The hotel ticks a lot of boxes, clean modern rooms, pool and steam room, and in the best location, very central over looking the beach. The hotel has just had a refurbishment, very tidy with a good bar and restaurant on the ground floor. Only slight negative, front dest - check in could be better and a bit more friendly.
If you want to stay in Manly, this hotel is your best choice, the other main hotel is way down at the end of the beach.

The hotel is above the pub, which is also very busy in the afternoon.
There is also live music there on Sundays until around 9 p.m.
Everything is perfectly fine, unless you have room 10 next to the washing machine/dryer and sleep next to the ventilation. Even though drying and washing is not allowed after 9 p.m., it was very annoying.
The hotel rooms face the back, so in the morning you also have the noise from the loading area of the supermarket.
On the positive side, the room was in a modern condition and the staff were all very nice.
The beach is a ten-minute walk away.
