I recently stayed at St Marks for a few nights and found the stay to be very pleasant. The guest house is beautifully designed, it’s fresh and clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The location is convenient, close to shops, restaurants and the hospital and close enough to wander down to the beach as well.
My room was just the right size for me, a comfortable single bed with crisp sheets, enough storage space for my personal belongings, a little kitchenette for preparing cups of tea and a fridge to store some fruits and veggies in (bonus points for the large sink for washing them in) and a private neat bathroom. Also the added communal kitchenette was a great addition, I used the microwave quite a few times and the coffee machine too. There is also a laundry room for the guests to use which I didn’t require this time around but perhaps next time.
