Hakata
I would like to thank the hotel staff who helped me with retrieving my mobile phone which slipped out of my back pocket and was left in the taxi. I think most places outside of Japan, I would have lost my phone. I have so much respect for the culture and beliefs of the Japanese people. The passenger that followed my taxi trip, the taxi driver and the hotel staff all made it possible for me to retrieve my phone and also will not take any token of gratitude that I wanted to pay. I really cannot express my gratitude enough. Thank you.
Grand Hyatt Fukuoka

Hakata
A slightly aged hotel, but still very functional, spacious and comfortable. Our plan also included the access to the GRAND CLUB whole day, which provides breakfast, refreshments during the day, and all kinds of wine paired with a good collection of food at night at their cocktail hour. And yes all the food in breakfast and at the cocktail hour were great. The location is fine, though you do need to travel back to hakata station or tenjin station depending on your itinerary
Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk

Firstly location is not convenient to hang around the city area. But pros is so obvious and undeniable. It's quite far from famous spots but exceptionally cozy and quiet and hotel room is spacious enough comparing to another hotels. You can take a stroll to Momochi beach on foot from hotel easily. If you are good at walking, I don't think you can't go to subway station on foot. Yes, takes some time but you can feel relaxing on the way to station. cons is one thing. Indoor swimming pool is not good for swimmer, it's 3 lanes only and always occupied by lessons or seniors who is just walking around in the water. Just next to hotel is baseball stadium, if you are a big fan of baseball, you can't miss Japanese pro baseball game there. It's unforgettable memory to kids and family, I m sure.
Hotel New Otani Hakata

A traditional Japanese big hotel with a large room area where you can walk around. A little old. Location is OK, about 15-20 minutes walk to Tenjin shopping area. But there are fewer options for finding food in the evening. There are several convenience stores nearby. Hotel staff service attitude is very good 👍🏻 super praise 👍🏻 Willow Bridge Market is only a 3 minute walk.

I have to praise the handsome guy from Qingdao at the door. I must praise him by name: Cui Baixin. He was very enthusiastic and recommended delicious food and drinks to me. I left my son's medicine at the hotel, and he helped me arrange for express delivery to my next hotel in Kumamoto. I give Cui a big 🍗 as a reward.

The Luigans Spa and Resort

This hotel provides a shuttle bus to Hakata Station near the transportation building. It is very convenient to continue your trip by private car. In addition, you can get there by JR, which is convenient. The hotel has many facilities, including a hot spring pool that must be found in Japan. The water quality is average and not bad. The room is very ”proper”, with two large beds, full frontal sea view, and the scenery is first-class. Breakfast is average, a bit far from what I expected.
HILLTOP RESORT FUKUOKA
4.3/571 Reviews
At the top of the mountain, the night view is beautiful, the air is fresh, the surrounding environment is beautiful, the zoo and botanical garden are nearby, it is a hot spring hotel, half an hour away from Hakata Station, with shuttle bus pick-up. The only drawback is that the facilities are a bit old, but the maintenance is quite good, and the hardware and furniture are well maintained.
Inn the Park Fukuoka

The environment is very comfortable and the food is surprisingly delicious. It is a place worth visiting. There are many things you can borrow, and there are also vinyl records that you can choose to play at your own pace. However, there was only a light rain for a few minutes at night, which already made a noticeable rattling sound on the tent. It would be very troublesome if it was a rainy day, and there was a chance of getting wet after taking a shower, so luckily the weather was good and I spent a pleasant night.
