Absolutely stunning location, with amazing facilities including a great restaurant and a spa which is certainly unique for a hostel! The rooms were cozy, the staff were lovely. What more could you want! I would definitely recommend this place, and hope to visit again.
Very cozy and comfortable to stay. There are many people. There is a large shared kitchen on the second floor. We live on the second floor and the environment is good. It only takes a few minutes to drive to the black sand beach.

Conveniences include coffee/tea makers, and cribs/infant beds (complimentary) can be requested.
The room was small but adequate. The bathroom too small, with a tiny sink. There was no bath soap or shampoo. The shower curtain was mildewed at the bottom. There was a teapot shared by the four units in our building, but no coffee, just sugar. The restaurant was great for dinner, but the included breakfast was poor. We were given a tray with preselected items. The croissant and coffee were excellent. I passed on the oatmeal and oat bread, which left a light continental breakfast. Poor value compared to the other guesthouses we encountered in Iceland.
We only crashed there a night before heading to Skaftafell. They helped us with packed breakfast as we checked out earlier than the breakfast time (this was requested during the booking and they accommodated it). We also did a late check in which again was requested at the time of booking.
If there are a lot of luggage, it is not recommended to choose a tent because a little distance must be carried. The public kitchen is fully equipped and clean, and the shower room is a little crowded.
Poor maintenance in public areas, but essentials were there and it was clean enough! It's rather a place where the guests rely on each other's friendliness.
It seems to be run by an old couple. It feels very warm and the breakfast is good. We arrived because it was close to midnight, so I was worried about the check in, but the owner left the key and a welcome card at the front desk, everything was satisfactory.
The service did not give full marks because of self-check-in, no on-site service, phone and email contact is still very smooth. .
Unexpectedly, the hotel is opposite the XHS net red lobster shop. It is very clean. It is very quiet. Although it is full, the guests have a very small voice. The shared bathroom is not expected to be so clean. It seems that the quality of the guests is very high. We also cleaned up the kitchen used for breakfast. It feels good.

AAzhanClean, spacious, well equipt, family friendly and good customer service! 😊
Tough times are a blessing in disguise, it always reveals the true color of the people around us.
We planned to stay in 2020 however Covid happened. Team was very understanding and accommodating to our predicament.
It was a happy surprise to find premise exceeding our expectations too! Shoes are well organised with rack and oraginsers neatly stacked at entrance.
Reception was friendly and informative. Room was clean and neat. In room wash basin was a big plus! There were 2 spacious and well equipt WCs to our section of 6-8rooms.
2 spacious dining areas, 1 large double fridge, 1 single fridge, spacious well equipt kitchen with various prep tables and 2-3+ sinks, pots/pans of various sizes, kitchen towels, utensils, cutleries, hot water dispenser, toaster, coffee percolator, sandwich press, oven, microwave, beverages and absolutely all one needs in the kitchen and more are furnished.
It is also children friendly with baby chair, cot and safe play area provided. Rooms are well sectioned with family rooms assigned at the back, away from the hustle and bustle. There are also rooms in basement.
There is also a washer/dryer and small drying rack at the far end, past kitchens and book cabinet with reading materials for the avid reader.
We had a good comfortable night stay and hope you do too! 🙂

卢卢赛The location is better to find, when you are on the 1st highway, you can see the steeple church on the north side of the uphill slope. The hotel's environment is comfortable and clean, the breakfast is simple, and all the ingredients needed for the sandwiches are made by themselves. This is basically the case in Northern Europe. The hostess is warm but feels a bit harsh.
Sshiyin7729Advantages: clean and hygienic. Good location, close to the lobster shop. Disadvantages: The room is small, the most amazing thing is that the curtains are only 20cm long. We just lived on the first floor, a short curtain, and the clothes could not be changed. Iceland is so long every day, how do people sleep? I didn’t care if I called the boss, but I later negotiated through Ctrip. But the curtain problem still can't be solved. The door lock of the bath is also bad. You can only ask your friends to look outside when taking a shower. I chose this house for a long time, and I was speechless to myself.
