The staffs are super friendly, they can speak english fluently so there were no communication issues. The rooms have CCTVs and they respect privacy and quiet hours. They have a lot of services included in their hostel, you really don’t need to go out for laundry or buying snacks and water. Opt for the one that has breakfast meal, the difference between having it or none is just minuscule. I even became close friends with one of the staffs and his friends which is super memorable. One of my highlights of visiting Indonesia for the first time.
In terms of price-quality ratio, this is probably the top in Jakarta. At least for an unpretentious traveler who is not going to sit in a hotel all day, but who just needs a place to leave things, spend the night, wash up... There is everything you need and nothing extra. The guys are great.
An interesting unusual location - in the alleys of some bazaar, you can't just find it.) At the same time, the location is strategically good - in the center, close to the city ”commuter train” station. It is convenient to get to and from public transport.
In general, it completely satisfied my needs, so I rate it ”excellent”.

Bed was nicer than expected, nice pillow. The other amenities look quite old, but functional and okay cleanliness. Hmmm they don't clean the room daily though, and more plugs would be good. But the main point is that the wifi is so bad that I had to live off my data the entire time.
Front desk staff spoke English, and had some flexibility with my requests.

It's convenient to go to Chinatown. The hot water is very hot. The bathroom will be slippery, so be careful. I hope the bathroom can be non-slip. There is breakfast included. It's worth staying next to the tourist attractions. Very convenient

Room is clean, location not bad. Convinient store just beside the hotel and there is a 24hr burger stall in front of hotel. International electric plug is convinient, but no hairdryer provided. No fridge in room. Breakfast limited choice but taste ok
This is my 2nd time staying here in swissbell express cideng. No doubt their service is top notch. They even help me to fasten my luggage screws.
The room size is nice and they have a smart TV. Surrounded with fast food open for 24 hours and accessible to go anywhere it is a plus point.
I love staying here .. hope to see u soon. . W🙏

The room is still very good. If there are no small ants, the small spider is better. In addition, the sound insulation effect can be better. In addition to the sound of water, there is also the sound of the hall. The cleaning of the toilet can also be done better. The environment is acceptable. Overall, the price is right.

Closed to the shopping area and very convenient. The hotel is a bit rundown . Shower area water clogged, room phone not working. Anyway, it's worth it as we only stay for one night and don't expect much
At the time I got the no windows room because of the fully booked, but the room is quite bigger than the single one. The water heater not so hot at the time. Location is very good. Amenities was standard. The staff also helpful carrying my luggage into taxi and also at depart.
Very Good

GGuest UserThe service attitude is good, and it is very close to SOGO and SOHO, the commercial complex of Central Park.
GGuest UserI found this place to be safe for solo female traveler.
The room looks smaller than shown in the picture. Maybe it was taken from .5x camera. It almost feels like a capsule hotel and is the size of a dorm room.
The room was neat and clean except the sheets always had some kind of stains, and there’s almost always ants around the wooden shelves ( especially if you eat in the room, but they were there even before that )
The bathroom is tidy and all necessary toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shower gel and towels were provided.
I am a vegan so the breakfast for the first 3 days when senior chef was there was really great for me. The chef made tempeh orek and another traditional Indonesian dish. However the last 2 days when another chef was present they literally had nothing vegan. One day they made me vegetables and rice and other day vegetable soup and rice.
Since the rooms don’t have soundproofing, it gets noisy at night with people coming up or down or in and out of their rooms.
Location wise it’s great. Grand Indonesia mall was nearby and the place is close to many eateries and alfamart.
The staff is friendly and helpful and professional.

DDhani_I returned and remained for one night to this hotel, I would like to recommend this hotel if you want to go to the immigration government office very near, furthermore inside the room cleaned, personnel nice service, and location good.
RRudyWhenever I visit Jakarta for personal reasons, this hotel is my go-to choice. It has a perfect location and offers affordable rates. If you're traveling via CGK, this is a great option since it's just a five-minute walk from Sudirman Baru station, where the airport train stops by—saving you both time and money on commuting after arrival. The staff is always helpful and accommodating, and the Wi-Fi is reliable for Zoom calls.
GGuest UserThe good:
The employees were SUPER nice and VERY helpful!
Location was excellent 👍
The bad:
Rooms were advertised as ALL Non-Smoking, but my room had definitely been recently smoked in and cigarette smoke permeated the establishment!
The room was absolutely filthy! Food, drink and or bodily fluid was splattered on multiple walls 🤮
The floor was covered with long black hairs and short curly ones too 🤢
Bathroom amenities were decent at best, and the ceiling was molded, there was also holes in both the bathroom and bedroom ceilings!
Lots of flying bugs too, but never saw a cockroach.
Bed sheets, pillow cases and towels were clean.
Air conditioner could not be adjusted, one temperature and one speed.
Cat urine permeated the hallway.
Obviously, I would never stay here again!
