Lovely hotel ,3 pools …pool with slides, Kids pool and then another family area with pool.
We had to move rooms as we had no hot water … but they moved us no problem.
The outside areas are lovely … bars around the pools … the only suggestion would be to have nibbles and also ice has to be available … the beach bar no ice at all again this is a no brainer.
The food needs overhauling by a chef … hot food generally not hot enough. No chips for kids .. no burgers … the menu needs changing and the cooks need training from a chef
The quality of the food needs a lot of improvement… many guests not happy one said it was a culinary catastrophe, a lot started eating out.
When you get there you are given a coloured wrist band and the staff will see you are a new arrival.
I saw new arrival guests get approached by on site staff selling , massages, nail and beauty makeovers, trips, and ice creams … as many as 5 approaches in 10 minutes.
In 5* hotels these people are at stations around the hotel and when guests are ready they go to these stations .. they don’t get hounded …the massage guy approached me 3-4 times a day.
Some of the trips need vetting
The service was ok and all the staff was friendly … the animation team need new outfits .. I couldn’t really see what they did to be fair .. no games to get people involved.
Overall it was a nice stay .. but there is a lot to work on .. I hope they will see this honest review and make changes … it could be a 4-5* but it will
only be a 3* if they don’t make changes
Facilities: The facilities in the room are relatively old, but the overall hygiene is still good, and the equipment can still be used normally. It's just that the hotel may have been there for many years, and it looks old compared to domestic ones.
Hygiene: The hygiene of the entire hotel is quite good, the swimming pool is also very clean, there are people cleaning up debris on the beach, and the hygiene of public areas is very good.
Environment: The hotel environment is OK with several floors, and the restaurant environment is also good. The whole hotel is integrated, with many special restaurants and bars, and the supporting facilities are relatively complete. There are several cats roaming around in the hotel, and they are all fat.
Service: The staff at the hotel front desk and room service are relatively friendly. Because Hurghada discriminates against Chinese people more seriously, I was worried that this hotel would be the same at first, but the overall feeling is OK.

This hotel gave me a big surprise, very quiet, clean and beautiful. The overall style is better than the picture. Breakfast can take the tutu car to the sister hotel Alpasha to eat. The breakfast type is very rich and the staff are very friendly. The only regret is that I have to go to sea at 7:30 on the first day, but breakfast starts at 8 o'clock.

The hotel is great!. My friend and I were there. It was our first time in Egypt. We felt very safe in the hotel!!!. The staff is polite and courteous. There is their own beach, free entry. There is a comfortable terrace - a restaurant on the beach, also very well maintained and beautiful. You can order breakfasts, lunches, drinks. You can also order food to the hotel. The room is cleaned a little every evening. The room has a lot of towels, soap, internet, taxi call. We were there from January 14-18, 2025. The weather was a little windy.

The hotel is very large. We stayed in a room on the first floor. The overall environment was relatively clean. However, when we first checked in, we found several hairs on the sink in the toilet. The room was dimly lit. The food in the restaurant was not tasty. During outdoor activities, we could see the staff cleaning all the time. This hotel is very suitable for bringing children to play various amusement facilities. It is far from the hotel's own beach and there are many people. You can either take a shuttle bus or walk there.

Couldn’t ask for a better stay! This hotel is one of my favourite hotels I have stayed in. The staff are absolutely phenomenal so friendly and so hard working, I really do admire them for their service. The room was absolutely stunning, very clean when we first came. The hotel itself is extremely beautiful with a lovely pool playing music in the day and also the lagoon that runs through the whole of El gouna. El Gouna as well is a beautiful place which is incredibly buzzy and beautiful. I couldn’t recommend this hotel more!
Thank you❤️

We enjoyed our stay at Ali pasha!
The staff are very friendly and welcoming us! The hotel looks very boutique and room is very clean!
Our included breakfast had a lot of the options and quite tasty.
The location is close to a quiet little town and also have some good food options and easy access to to different spots via taxi or tucxi.

Amazing
BBryce van de LaarThe Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted.
The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes.
We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along.
There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus).
The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet).
Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.
ЕЕленаВасOur goal was to live near Khargada Marina and save money, the hotel coped with these tasks with flying colors, so there are no complaints - we knew where we were going. We liked the food - quite varied and tasty. Very well-kept green area - workers are constantly planting, cutting, mowing. The beach is nice, the water is cold in December, we did not swim

MMounirMinaIf I can rate this hotel more than 5 stars, I will do so.
Those people are hospitality gurus, the way they treated me and my family made us all overwhelmingly happy. Every single detail was taken into consideration and exceeded my expectations.
-Once in the restaurant my son was hesitant and in seconds the chef made him a special order that suits his taste.
-Snacks and pizzas are so yummy.
-The hotel is nice and cozy.
-The views are relaxing.
-Super clean Rooms, Pools and restaurants.
-The main restaurant served seafood several times. However, It was never smelly and this is a plus.
-Access was available to Jaz Casa Del Mar's lovely sandy beach.
Words won't express my feelings when the hotel sent me a complimentary birthday cake on my birthday and another compliment was sent the next day (fruit platter, nuts and maccarons😋😋)
Special thanks to reception team members (Mohamed for his close follow up on any issue, Ibrahim for his complement and Philopater for receiving us).
Special Thanks to the pool bar men (Abd El Salam and Mina) they served delicious coctails 😉👌
-Special thanks to Ali Barakat in the Snacks bar
-Special thanks to Ali & Hamdoun in the main restaurant.
-Special thanks to Mohamed from the room service team.
-Special thanks to Fares at the beach.
-Special thanks to Sentido's team for making our vacation an unforgettable one.
Will be back again soon ISA
All the best...
KKarenFor Val you e for money I really like that hotel. For 69 US dollars a night I got in it pool / ocean view room three meals and really horrible alcohol unless you like beer which I do like. The hotel doesn't really have a beach but they have a shuttle that takes you to resort that has facilities and the shuttle goes every hour on the hour. Two pools are huge everybody has a good attitude food is so so but what do you expect for $69 including three meals and booze . Tell you the truth I would stay there again. Staff was quite pleasant lots of activities in the evening the hotel has a good five any huge pools. I really liked it I was just looking for a place closer to the airport cuz I had a morning flight. That area is kind of undeveloped they're just building resorts there but I was fond of the place and would stay here again for the price. Don't expect gourmet food expect edible cafeteria-ish food. Slightly better than my college dorm.

GGuest UserMy familya and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm smiles and attentive service. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of my stay was perfect, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a relaxing atmosphere that immediately put me at ease.
The food was simply outstanding—every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the variety and quality were exceptional. The combination of great service, comfortable rooms, and excellent food made my stay unforgettable.
If you are looking for a place with top-notch hospitality, fantastic dining, and genuinely caring staff, this hotel is the perfect choice
AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at Arabella Azur Resort in Hurghada. The location is stunning — right by the Red Sea with private access to crystal-clear waters. The hotel has a unique, charming architecture with white domes and traditional Nubian design, which made it feel both authentic and relaxing.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay — from reception to restaurant, everyone was welcoming and professional. The food was surprisingly varied and tasty, especially considering it was an all-inclusive package.
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and I especially appreciated the peaceful, laid-back atmosphere. Whether you’re snorkeling, relaxing by the beach, or watching the sunset from the terrace, this hotel truly gives you a perfect Red Sea experience.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a warm, stress-free holiday in Egypt.
EERLLwanzhuanhuahuashijieThe facilities and environment are excellent. The resort is relatively large. The restaurant food may not suit Chinese tastes. The service staff is relatively indifferent. The room is at the level of domestic three-star hotel.
