The Regina is a basic all inclusive hotel right in the centre of Hurghada. Easy walking distance to the Marina and bars, restaurants etc are right outside the front door. Majority of staff are friendly, tips get you better service (as in most places in Egypt). Samir who cleaned our bungalow was absolutely fantastic, every day he left something else in our room that helped us enjoy our stay. From a kettle (not typical to get in Egypt all inclusive) to hotel embroidered slippers and a wonderful smile every single day, I hope the management cherish him as he is simply brilliant. The bungalow was spacious enough but the shower was tiny, beds comfy, plenty of clean towels too. The food is basic and not to the standard I’ve had in other hotels in Hurghada but there was always something to have. The beer is poured in to small glasses from a bottle and all the spirits are local equivalents. If like me you need coffee early morning (before 7) then you’ll have to pay for it. They have a machine in a little cafe area and at the pool/beach bars but machine coffee is not available whilst breakfast is being served. Instead it’s provided in a huge urn and not very palatable. If you arrive before 3pm you’re not entitled to have lunch or dinner after 12 o’clock check out on your last day…they cut your band off when you check out. If you check in after 3pm then you can get a voucher from reception which allows you to have lunch. I’ve never had this at any other hotel in Egypt (this was my 18th visit) and adds to the basic feel of the hotel. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel to enjoy the ever present sunshine then the Regina could be for you.

It is very suitable for bringing children to play. The swimming pool has hot water and there is also a children's favorite water park slide. It’s really nice to have all meals and drinks included. We were allowed to have lunch when we arrived at noon, and lunch was also included when we checked out. It also includes drinks at any time, from drinking by the pool during the day to the mini bar at night. There are stage parent-child activities and song and dance performances every night. The room facilities are not new, but they are still clean, and the sheets are also clean. Can recommend! Suitable for a few families to play together with their children.

The food may not be fresh. All four of us had a bad stomach this time, and we dared not to have the meals in the restaurant.

Facilities: There are few modern hotels in Egypt that can cost only 300 RMB. Analogous to the domestic Han Court. Please let the front desk know. Room with sea view Health: good Environment: good. The beach is small but beautiful. The swimming pool is nice. Service: The restaurant boy is too enthusiastic. Hope it's not for the tip.

The room was so spacious, I was a solo traveler, but the room was big enough for 4 people. The room had its own walk in closet, and the bathroom was great. Shower space was huge, also had a spot to sit/ lie down whilst showering. There was also a nice balcony overseeing the resort. The rooms were cleaned everyday, I had a guy named Sabary cleaning my room, who is a top bloke, extremely hard working, and he could speak 4 languages (Arabic, English, Russian and German). He tried his absolute best to keep the rooms clean, and to ensure you were enjoying yourself. The food was great, there was a huge variety, the aqua park and pools were awesome. Everything about this resort was just brilliant.

Utopia Beach Club is a hotel that will always be in my heart and I will come back whenever I have the chance. Apart from being a beautiful place with gorgeous scenery, beach and buildings, most importantly, the people that work there are beautiful. From the management team to the towels boy, everyone is very kind, friendly and doing everything to make you feel welcome and to make sure that your stay is memorable. But regardless how beautiful a hotel is, how good the food or how many different facilities it has (and Utopia has pretty much everything you could need on holiday at an all inclusive resort: spa, beauty services, shops, ATM’s, a snorkeling and diving center, kids club, etc.), for me and my husband, the most important thing on this type of holiday is the entertainment team (we never go on an all inclusive holiday if the hotel does not have entertainment). And Utopia has the best one ever, I adore those kids so much. They always put a smile on your face, they always work so hard to make everyone happy, from kiddies to the elders, they have energy and good vibes for everyone, all nationalities, all ages. We made really good friends with them, especially with Bodi, Semsem and Adela (who were my kids this holiday 🥰). I know we will be back there next year for sure and we cannot wait for that (even thought we literally got home just over an hour ago).

The hotel is not brand new, but neat, clean and nice. Location is quite good as well, right on Mamsha street. Actually this is the best option for “budget” trip , you get decent service and all the necessities and not paying much for it. If you ask me - I would recommend it to my friends💛

Ctrip's hotel description is vague and unclear and cannot cover general possibilities, causing great distress and loss to guests-time, energy, economy, and spirit! After communicating with the customer service, in the case that the customer service expressed understanding and apology and actively promised to help with the cancellation of the order, one day later, there was one that could not be cancelled! As a result, the house was not lived and the money was not refunded! And just because of Ctrip's own problems! learn a lesson! !! !!

The Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted. The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes. We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along. There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus). The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet). Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

The hotel is not brand new, but neat, clean and nice. Location is quite good as well, right on Mamsha street. Actually this is the best option for “budget” trip , you get decent service and all the necessities and not paying much for it. If you ask me - I would recommend it to my friends💛

We are family of four and first time in egypt. Was hesitant to book at first for the many things you hear about egyt but so pleased we did book and had the best family holiday for a long time. Great quality food different every night and choice of places to eat there is also Pancakes with chocolate, ice cream and pizza. I do think they could improve their kids station I.e. make it lower for them to reach and a little more kids choice of foods. Rooms, beach and pool area cleaned everyday. Great comfy sun loungers with foam mattresses and drinks served while your on them. Hotel staff very friendly and try their best to please you. Entertainment during the day is great but the shows could be improved but other options at different bars in the hotel to sit at if you wish. If you're thinking of staying here or have booked you should have a great time.

Very good hotel Clean rooms Check-in and check-out process was perfect Pools and aqoa were amazing but there is no deep pool all the pool is 90cm hight which is not good for me. The food variety is limited in some meals The animation team is very good at night but not very active in the morning. I would like to thank MR kerolous from the receiption team and MR Adel rhe head of food and beverages for their professionalism and their politly way. Thank you and I will come back again

If you really want to sleep please choose another Hotel. The bed was hard like a stone. The pillows some synthetic material and not fluffy unfortunately. I was an Insomniac during most days of my stay. Improvement was not really possible by housekeeping, the bed remained hard. During my unexpected Insomnia I expected to read at night. However this was also not enjoyable, the lamps are in a terrible state. The lamp broke apart in two pieces when I lifted the lamp off its stand. Lighting from the ceiling is missing completely. The bedside lamps are totally insufficient for reading. When I switched on the TV I was able to understand that I don't speak enough languages. Czech, Polish, Arabic etc but no German and only one English speaking channel which was BBC worldwide was available. I was spoiled by other Hotels on previous trips with towels from Egyptian cotton. Now this was only a slight disappointment, no Egyptian cotton towels, similar to the synthetic pillows. I can do with a standard towel, if the water is running. There was a problem with water pressure in the shower. Approximately 5 times I stood under the shower and was surprised that there was no water from the tab. So now I turned into an Insomniac, but at least I was eating excellently. The food was top standard and I loved meeting the chefs. Especially I liked the head chef. A very charming Gentleman. The Hotel facilities are also enjoyable and the beach is nice. However please be careful at the pool, there are tiles missing and there is maintenance necessary. All in all, I noted they need a German Hotel Director. This Hotel could easily be 5 stars, making little improvements by refurbishing the rooms with comfortable bedding, linen and of course furniture and some small tasteful decoration and installing sufficient tasteful lighting. The furniture has seen better days. Normally this does not bother me to much, but as an Insomniac I wanted to burn all uncomfortable furniture. The substance of the Hotel is excellent. What a pity that it is not taken care off better. Also with regards to the windows, they could all be cleaned. The windows in A111 was not cleaned for years. The return of invest would be tremendous if the hotel would be refurbished. I will not come back as I cannot sleep in Elphistone. Everything else was great.

intimate hotel which suits me very well, food ok everyone will find something for themselves a la carte restaurants very good. animators great especially aisha great girl very lively fun for everyone always found some attraction. thanks to her we didn't spend time all the time on the beach. if you are from poland look for aisha she will definitely provide you with a great stay.
