The location is excellent, 400 meters from Interlaken OST (Eastern Station), and COOP supermarket is opposite the train station, which is extremely convenient to enter and exit. The hotel facilities are relatively old, but this is normal in old Europe, clean and tidy, and sufficient. The toiletries are also good. There are more than ten kinds of drinks in the minibar, which are replenished every day. In addition, the breakfast buffet is very good, and you must order breakfast. I will stay here again next time I come to Interlaken.

The hotel is three (3) to four (4) kilometers away from the Old Town of Bern and less than one (1) kilometer away from the New Town of Bern. The breakfast buffet has a great selection of food at a very reasonable price. We saved a lot by adding it on our trip considering that a decent meal on nearby restaurants costs at least 30 Francs. The rooms are just right when it comes to their size. There is no heater, hair dryer, toothpaste and toothbrush though, only the basic toiletries are provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Bern.

There is no direct bus from interlaken west station to the hotel. The navigation says 1.2 km. I feel that 2 km is definitely there! Pull the suitcase from the train station to the end of the road and climb the hillside and climb a long way to the hotel! But when I was soaking my own black tea on the small balcony, listening to the birds twirling, looking up and seeing the setting sun, covering the Jinshan, I feel worth it! Received the city tax seems to be 3.6CHF? There is a large platform to dry clothes ~ there is a bar and dinner, but my companion old lady is reluctant, so no experience ~ I booked a public bathroom room with a sink in the room. Looking at the snowy mountain to eat a sunny breakfast feels good! The hotel has a bus card (we didn't use it), and there is a bus from the interlaken OST train station to the hotel! But the number of flights is relatively small!

Best hostel that i’ve ever stayed in! Fantastic location, next to Interlaken Ost station & a big Coop nearby. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was really good!! If i ever visit interlaken again I will definitely stay here

One of the best stays I've experienced in my 12 years of travel history.Jugendherberge Schloss Burgdorf Hostel offers a unique experience, being an old castle turned into a beautiful hostel. The location is simply awesome. However, I made a silly mistake by not calling ahead to confirm my check-in time and ended up spending a night outside in the chilly weather because the reception was closed. Thankfully, a staff member arrived the next morning at 7:00 AM and I was able to check in. The breakfast provided is good, and the cleanliness and service are both commendable. The climb from the train station takes about 20 minutes, but it's well worth it for the incredible setting. Overall, despite my mishap, this is one of the best hostels in Switzerland and I highly recommend it.

Right by the lake, you can see the lake and mountains when you go out in the morning. It's a very happy experience. Every morning, you feel close to nature. Although it is a youth hostel, it is very clean and the breakfast is also very good.

Absolutely loved this place! It’s an old building, but everything is very clean and well-maintained. The atmosphere is super cozy, It’s located slightly away from the typical tourist areas, which makes it peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to get anywhere easily. The town itself is calm and very pleasant to stay in, perfect for spending a whole day just relaxing in the courtyard without going anywhere. It’s also very accessible from Interlaken or Spiez — just a short 15-minute bus ride. Even though the bus only comes once an hour, it’s easy to manage if you check the schedule. Highly recommend this peaceful and charming stay!

The bathroom was very simple without any shampoo or shower gel provided which was different from the description on booking. There was no one at the reception and you have to do the check-in and check-our by yourself. Can't expect too much as it is a hostel.

The location is good. The owner and service staff can communicate in Chinese and their attitude is cordial. Bonus points 👍 It's clean enough, but the house is quite old, a bit like a hotel converted from a house. The bathroom smelled musty. There is no front desk. After ringing the doorbell and talking to the owner, Hotel Toscana, he will tell you how to check in. I arrived late and was very uneasy. Feeling cheated. If you travel by car, it is inconsistent with the private parking space at our store address. The parking space in front of the store belongs to someone else and is not accessible. The parking space is at another address, hotel toscana. I was notified until I rang the doorbell.
