Romantic Hotels in Chongqing, China

This was our first visit to Chongqing, and staying at this hotel made the experience even better. The location is excellent — very central and within walking distance to many attractions, with a metro station right next to the building. The hotel staff were kind, responsive, and able to communicate in English, which made things easier for us. Our room was clean and comfortable. It’s not brand new, but it had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the bathtub and the overall friendliness of the staff. The service was quick and helpful throughout our stay. As part of our package, we joined a sightseeing tour arranged through the hotel. It was a packed day, but we got to see a lot. My personal highlights were the 360° tower views and the Space Bunker experience. Although the tour was mostly in Chinese, the guide made an effort to accommodate us, which we appreciated. The only downside was that we were asked to leave a 5-star review. I believe great service speaks for itself, and while the request felt unnecessary, they truly did provide a great experience — one that does deserve five stars. We had a wonderful time and would happily stay here again.

This is my first time visiting Chongqing, China, and I have limited time to choose a hotel and plan my trip. I chose this place because it is in the middle of tourist attractions, easy to travel, clean rooms, good views, and good service. For a solo trip beginner like me, I must say that I am impressed. If anyone wants to come as a couple or family, I recommend that this place will not disappoint you. You will definitely be impressed with your Chongqing trip.

The room was very good, good service, comfortable bed, nice view, great location! The only negative feedback I have is that the windows need to be cleaned from the outside, but even in the current condition, I’d highly recommend it!

The hotel room is pretty big and clean also with a nice view as described in the website.  Basic amenities but good enough because most of the time you’ll be out.  Location is good, walking distance to a number of tourist sites. The downside of the hotel is it is located in a commercial building with a viewing deck on the 67th floor whilst the hotel is on the 65/F.  Everyday there are many people lining up for lift to go to the viewing deck plus need to change 2 lift to get to the hotel.  Very inconvenient.  Other than that all good.

Tianqing River View Hotel is located within a hotel complex, with different floors belonging to different hotels. My stay was exceptional with excellent A/C, convenient location, amazing views, clean room and bathroom, and the best service I have ever had at a hotel. The hotel employees were very helpful with food and convenience store deliveries and offered to wash and dry (both drying machine and hang dry) our clothes. Overall, amazing bang for the buck and I would stay here again if I visit Chongqing again. Do avoid the vendors downstairs though, there is much better and cheaper food a few steps away at Bayi Road!`

The room was amazing. The location of the hotel is very convenient, a lot of attractions are close by or easily reached with the subway. The staff were very friendly and helpful. ✌️

Favorite Chongqing trip One of my favorite 🦒 hotels! . Hill&Bridge Cloud Afternoon Tea: Afternoon tea can be delivered to the room, which is really cool! ! 24-hour butler service: The butler is very considerate! If you order takeout, they will help deliver it to the door! ! It's also very beautiful! ! The weather was bad on the day I stayed, but my mood really improved when I entered the room! ! The area is super large! ! Facilities: Very smart! The curtains are all voice-controlled! ! Hygiene: The hygiene is very good👍! ! Environment: The environment is elegant and it's so beautiful to take pictures! . You can take pictures of landmarks when you turn off the lights at night! Service: The butler is very patient! ! Recommend this room to me! You will never be disappointed! !

Hotel location is perfect, steps from Jiefanba pedestrian street. Everything was so close by. Easy access to most tourist spots! Receptionist was very friendly and helpful at check-in. She also recommended some good local food restaurants for us which came out to be satisfied! The room a bit old but pretty clean and big enough, especially love the huge TV screen. We enjoyed watching during our stay. Communication was quick within mins and all friendly employees. We requested last min late check out & was approved without questions asked. Will definitely come back to stay in the future.

Very clean and relatively new hotel, with very friendly staff that came down to help with the luggage! There’s no odour or bad smells which is great! They upgraded my room free of charge with river view and bathtub and the room is quite spacious for this price. Hotel is very near to two attractions - Shi Ba Ti and Shan Cheng Xiang, with local food along the streets. Overall a very pleasant experience! 酒店很干净也很新，员工们非常友善，前台小哥哥大半夜的下来帮我拿行李，发旅游攻略，很贴心！房间没有异味没有烟味，很干净！还免费帮我升级了江景房，很好看！离十八梯和山城巷很近，旁边也有挺多的本地人吃饭的路边餐馆。体验感很好！

We stayed here in two different room and without a doubt it was by far the best hotel I ever had the pleasure to stay. The location of this hotel is perfect and its located in the 34th floor. The rooms have a stunning view and are very clean. Every day the hotel staff will make your bed and give you new hygienic articles and bottles of water and Softdrinks. You also have the possibility to give your laundry to the staff and they will do it for you for free. What impressed me the most is the kindness of the staff and especially the Boss, who helped us with any worry and gave us a lot of Great recomendations. 5/5*
