"Such a good experience staying here. Me and my sister stayed here shortly before our flight and the staff treated us very nicely. For your information, they provide free luggage storage. The even gave us mineral water and let us stay at their lounge area while we waited for airport pick up. The location is very good, near to train station and within walking distance to tourist attractions in Chongqing."

WWoshishayujiaoguanEnvironment: Very clean, as soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a pleasant aroma. It feels spotless and comfortable.
Service: The service was also excellent. They even gave us a bag of local specialty fried dough twists when we checked out, which was a very kind gesture.
Facilities: Fully equipped, everything you need, very convenient. The hotel location was also easy to find. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing.

GGuest UserService: The hotel's front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive. They even provided children's toothbrushes and slippers. When checking out, I expected to go to the 20th floor, but they actually came to our door to help us check out and even gave two small gifts to the children! 👍🏻
Environment: The hotel's location is excellent, close to Jiefangbei, making it convenient to get anywhere.
Facilities: The facilities are complete, with both air conditioning and heating.

FFuyaozhishang～Chongqing was really fun, and the hotel was great too. On the second day, I swapped afternoon tea for two breakfasts. I couldn't get up to eat, but my boyfriend did and said it was very good. The only thing was that check-in at the front desk was a bit slow. I went to the viewing platform several times to see the night view, and they still hadn't finished checking me in. The bed in the room was quite large, and the bedside night light was a thoughtful touch – it automatically lit up when it sensed someone. The shower pressure was super strong, and the hot water came quickly. I stayed in room 1310, and it wasn't noisy at all, which was great. For hotpot, we tried Yuda Shi and it didn't disappoint. Dongzipao Jianghu Cuisine was also delicious, no regrets there. The only issue was that on the first night, we arrived too late and the lights at Hongyadong were already off. On the second day, we spontaneously joined a tour group by the road and went sightseeing. After riding the Yangtze River Cableway and having hotpot, Hongyadong closed again. It was so funny, we didn't get to see Hongyadong light up on either night, even though we stayed at the closest hotel. We also didn't get to try many snacks. I wouldn't recommend the 'qian xu gao' (thousand strand cake) – it was too sweet and sticky. And the highest 'Eye of the Clouds' observation deck? Don't bother. The tickets are expensive, and the night view from up there is just average. They even charge for the big photo they take – with such expensive tickets, the photo should be free! There were still many attractions we didn't get to visit this time. I definitely want to come back to Chongqing when I get another chance!

GGuest UserThe location is unbeatable! You can take the hotel elevator directly to Kuixinglou on the 22nd floor, and it's a very short walk to Hongya Cave and Jiefangbei. The room itself is also spacious, clean, and odor-free. From the 21st floor, you get a lovely view of the river at night. The breakfast spread is quite good and tasty; I especially enjoyed the Chongqing noodles. They even have desserts in the evening, which are delicious, and the staff are all very enthusiastic.

GGuest UserThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Its location in the Jiefangbei area is very convenient, close to Hongya Cave and Bayi Food Street. The river view room indeed offers a great view of Qiansimen Bridge. The bathroom is spacious, and the TV in the room even allowed us to catch up on TV shows. The landlady's recommendation for Jiang Er Wa Chuan Chuan Xiang was absolutely delicious. On my last day, they even granted me a late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only minor drawback was the inconsistent and often disconnected Wi-Fi. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied.

GGuest UserFacilities: I initially thought this was an old five-star hotel, but I was surprised to find the facilities are incredibly well-maintained. You can see signs of age, but it definitely doesn't feel old. I'm deducting half a star because the TV had a double image in both rooms, but thankfully the Spring Festival Gala wasn't that great anyway. They might want to consider updating the TVs.
Cleanliness: Very good. After the bathroom fogged up, I checked the mirror and there wasn't a single smudge or un-wiped spot at the very top. This attention to detail really shows.
Environment: Good. I went for a swim on the first day of ***** New Year, and the pool was nice. Although, the pool towels seemed a bit old.
Service: Excellent, always polite and courteous.
Breakfast can be replaced with lunch (until 1:30 PM): I experienced both breakfast and the New Year's Eve dinner buffet. I can confidently say that the hotel performed at an above-average to near-excellent level during this fully booked period.

It's located right above Hongyadong, and for a tourist attraction hotel, the hygiene, environment, and facilities offer good value for money. The service from the front desk lady was absolutely fantastic. It's definitely a hotel I'd choose to stay at again on my next visit.

MM527716****Overall, a great experience with excellent service. The pool even provides swimming caps. The room environment was also very good, and the general vibe was pleasant. Many foreigners stay here, and Ascott apartments are definitely reliable. The only minor downsides were some maintenance issues: the in-room TV signal clarity was very poor. When I asked the staff, they said it was part of a process, and that the issue had been ongoing for some time. Well, I saw previous comments about it, so it's quite unbelievable it hasn't been fixed yet. Also, the swimming pool roof had several leaks when it rained. Aside from those points, I was very satisfied, and it offers super high value for money.

GGuest UserThe place is very beautiful and the surrounding park is very well maintained. We booked a simple double room and got upgraded to a room with hot spring pool on the terrace which safed our experience. Overall it was quite stressful because we got interrupted every hour with some requests, communication was very difficult (we speak no Chinese) and we would not understand how to use the services that were included in our booking, were not informed that the restaurant would close early and had a ton of little problems to solve with the technical equipment (WiFi, TV, how to switch off the pool). Frankly, at one point we felt like part of the staff we had not one undisturbed hour to simply enjoy.
Furthermore there was construction work going on and we were not previously informed. Had we known, we would have stayed at another hotel. I did not like the cancellation policy as they did not offer refund from the second we booked.
Payment was a hassle with Alipay, Weixin Pay and International Mastercard.
The food was amazing and the staff did their best to make our experience better. They even assisted us to order food via delivery as the place is a bit remote.
Maybe it’s all a bit smoother during higher seasons and with a Chinese Bank Card and Chinese language skills.
I’d recommend to stay near the natural hot springs in a simpler hotel for 10x less money and hassle.
