Romantic Hotels in Chongqing, China

The hotel is located in the heart of Chongqing, which made it incredibly easy to visit the most important attractions of the city by foot. The hotel staff is very friendly and they do their best to help you as much as possible. Moreover, when you arrive, they provide you with helpful information about tourist attractions and restaurant recommendations. The only downside is the wait times for the elevators, but they warn you about most busy times for the elevators. All in all, I recommend this hotel to anyone trying to make the most out of their stay in Chongqing.

I had a great stay at this hotel- the room is very comfortable, and it’s easy to communicate with the friendly staff (through WeChat). They were very responsive and quick to attend to any needs. The location is very convenient too. Please do keep in mind that they don’t have laundry services or hotel breakfast. I think they do have drinks/snacks(?) available at the reception but I didn’t have the time to check that out. However, I was a little worried about the cleanliness of the bathroom (shower area). Moreover, I felt a few concerns in regard to safety, as it’s a big building with different hotels on each floor, and a keycard is not required to get onto any floor of the building.

Very nice stay. The hotel is located in the center- just 1 min by walk from the Metro Station. Our room had an outstanding views! The room was very clean (thanks to Coco and Jingjing - everyday they did a perfect job!). Staff and the reception was friendly and welcoming, they answered all of our questions. It could have been used a greater care for the details- the shower leaked into the room, the tank tap was twisted, the pool was shallow and cold (and the room was air conditioning). But in general our stay was very very pleasant! I recommend!

Amazing stay! 🌟 The hotel offers breathtaking views of the Chongqing skyline – truly unforgettable both day and night. The bed was absolutely huge and incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning. Every detail feels luxurious, from the stylish design to the top-notch facilities (yes, even a Dyson hair dryer 😉). The highlight for me was the big bathtub right in the room, where you can just soak, relax, and enjoy the stunning city view. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

The room was comfortable with the necessary amenities. The staff was helpful and kind. The pool was smaller than in the pictures but the view of the city was fantastic. The design of the hotel property was just lovely- Ivy covered walls and beautiful flowers in just the right places. The hotel is tucked back at the end of a neighbourhood lined with small convenience stores and noodle restaurants. It was just a 10 minute walk to the subway and a 15 minute walk to a mall. Unfortunately, their two restaurants were under staffed- though both were open. Food was available, but we ordered all of our food and drinks. Breakfast was simple- noodles or rice porridge.

This hotel was in such a great location, very close to the city. The room was extremely modern and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The in room intelligence was a very nice feature! All though our Chinese is not very good the staff were very helpful and accommodating, I will stay here again when I return to Chonquing!

Tianqing River View Hotel is located within a hotel complex, with different floors belonging to different hotels. My stay was exceptional with excellent A/C, convenient location, amazing views, clean room and bathroom, and the best service I have ever had at a hotel. The hotel employees were very helpful with food and convenience store deliveries and offered to wash and dry (both drying machine and hang dry) our clothes. Overall, amazing bang for the buck and I would stay here again if I visit Chongqing again. Do avoid the vendors downstairs though, there is much better and cheaper food a few steps away at Bayi Road!`

My recent stay at Iseya Hotel was simply amazing. The hotel’s location at Chao Tian Men is unbeatable – it offers a stunning view overlooking the iconic Qian Si Men Bridge, which was a highlight in itself. We booked the Duplex room, and it was perfect for our family of four, including two young children. The room was spacious, super clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable sofa that made the space very livable and practical for families. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the hotel staff. From the chambermaid to the receptionist, everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and polite. A special mention goes to 橙子, a receptionist who delivered impeccable customer service. When I mistakenly went to the wrong location for the Chongqing 1949 Theater, she took the initiative to personally call the theater staff and help me sort things out. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile made me feel genuinely valued and appreciated. Overall, our experience in Chongqing was made even better thanks to Iseya Hotel. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city – especially families looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality.

Didn't take many photos but the stay was awesome - 1. Location was very convenient (right in the middle of jiefangbei pedestrian street with a convenient store and chapanda right beside the building on L1) it was easy and accessible to all the key tourist attractions nearby 2. Hotel staff was so so friendly and helpful that it made the stay so comfortable. They were constantly contactable and eager to help. The great service is a key reason why I would recommend people to stay here too 3. Room design was minimalistic, stylish and clean with daily housecleaning services which was great. It may not seem the newest/cleanest to those that may be picky but I think it is of an amazing standard already (to me who may be considered more stringent already) Things to note that I learnt after staying here: 1. The lift may take a while and may be quite packed as there are many people going up and down, with limited lifts. Just be patient. It wasn't much of any issue 2. Jiefangbei (the entire area in general) may be quite jammed in terms of taking a taxi so just note this as some drivers may get angsty due to the traffic jams but this wasn't too big of an issue as well and we got to all the places we wanted to!

Really lovely hotel right next to Jiefangbei - it's a great location right next to a few food streets. Lovely staff were very quick to switch my room when there was noise right over the bed which made it difficult to sleep. The view is amazing and their staff go above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. Only downside is that this hotel is located in a busy building with other offices and hotels which makes catching a lift a very time consuming affair.
