"My stay at the Changshou Lake Swan Castle Hotel was absolutely amazing! The European-style castle exterior is incredibly atmospheric, and with Changshou Lake right behind it, the views are expansive. Opening the window reveals stunning lake and mountain scenery, perfect for photos.
The room was clean and spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding. The toiletries were high-quality, and the facilities were new and well-maintained. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep.
The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. The staff were responsive and showed great attention to detail. The hotel's environment is elegant and tranquil, making it suitable for both leisure and business. The food was authentic and made with fresh ingredients.
Overall, the value for money is outstanding. This is definitely my top choice when visiting Changshou Lake, and I'll be back again. Highly recommended!"

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Chongqing, and I wanted to make sure I had good food, good drinks, and convenient transportation. This hotel was perfect! Getting around by taxi was super easy, and the subway was also an option, though I preferred taxis. Just down the street from the hotel, there's a whole row of delicious Chongqing hot pot restaurants and tasty baozi. Behind the hotel, you'll find another street packed with local Chongqing specialty snacks, all of which were excellent. The hotel also offers breakfast, making it a top choice for travelers!

From the front desk's coordination to the prompt response of room service, every aspect demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail. The view from the terrace garden was fantastic, and the food quality was excellent; the 'jiaotou xiaomian' (noodles with toppings) was just as good as what you'd find at a specialty noodle shop. This experience truly blew me away! If I ever come back to Chongqing, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

He contacted me in advance before I checked in, and all the requests were met wholeheartedly. It was a great stay experience. Each room type has its own characteristics. GGuest UserThe room was clean and well-equipped (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, laundry detergent, and a hairdryer were all provided). The location is excellent, and transportation is very convenient; you can walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, the complimentary evening congee was substantial, and breakfast was delicious. The lobby offers a great view, and the river scenery is beautiful. The room also had a mini-fridge with complimentary drinks, which was a nice touch. They even offer free laundry and drying service (you order through a mini-program, and they pick up your dirty clothes in less than half an hour, then deliver them back to your room the next morning). I'm very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend it!

GGuest UserThe hotel is really easy to find and super close to Chaotianmen Pier. The subway station is right outside, and there are tons of restaurants nearby, including lots of hotpot and snack places. Our room was very quiet, and they even upgraded us to a river-view room for free! We had a great view of the river on the left and the bridge on the right, which was lovely. The room was spacious too, with a projector, and plenty of room for luggage. It's a perfect place to stay when visiting Chongqing.

GGuest UserI want to love this hotel. Unfortunately I had a bad incident that ruin the first day of my holiday in chongqing.
We booked 2 River view rooms for our family for 3 nights as we wanted somewhere special to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. As we were traveling with children, I checked several times with hotel before arriving that I wanted two side by side river rooms and even asked before booking which room type to book to fulfill this criteria. We checked in very late at 2.30am as we came off a light night flight totally exhausted, and could not see anything when we checked in as the view outside the room was dark. We unpacked and went to bed.
Next morning, we woke up and realised that one of the rooms had a giant wall across completely blocking our view. It was unlike the video in trip that showed full length glass windows. One had to climb and stand up onto the sofa to see any view. We were too rushed for other plans so only managed to talk to reception on afternoon of second day and got a river view room late afternoon of second night when we highlighted. Feel that it’s not correct to give us the first night room with the wall completely blocking the view when we had booked a river view. It’s terrible as it ruined our first day at chongqing. Service recovery was not good. We were not given any special apology for staying one night in a hotel room with no view, or for the inconvenience and time wasted in packing and unpacking when we had to change room the next day.

Pros
One of the staff member at reception was very helpful and I am grateful for his good service . The rest of service was very mixed. We asked hotel to help store our ice cream DQ cake as we were too full to finish the whole birthday cake at one sitting. When we got it back from hotel, the whole cake had melted, my daughter was crushed.
Hotel is modern which is great. Location is mixed, it’s on way to hongyadong which is convenient. But hotel entrance is opposite a public toilet and noodle shop. Not sure why but several times there was a big commotion or argument opposite the hotel entrance between groups of people.

GGuest UserNestled in one of Chongqing’s oldest suburbs, this hotel is an aesthete’s dream.
My arrival was smooth thanks to the porter and hotel staff who met me at the closest drop-off location. Having WeChat and adding the hotel was a lifesaver.
While English wasn’t widely spoken (except by the manager), the staff always seemed to understand my needs and requests. They were incredibly attentive and friendly.
The room was stunning, as shown in the pictures. It was spacious and meticulously designed, truly a dream to stay in.
As part of the booking, they offered a complimentary photoshoot. This was a unique experience and I jumped at the chance. Zihao, my photographer, listened to my needs and captured some incredible shots. These photos are a cherished memory.
The breakfast staff were so friendly and a delight to see in the mornings. Despite not speaking English, one of the girls made a real effort to communicate.
I surprised the hotel manager by asking him to organise a last-minute driver for the whole day to a remote town. He had it organised within 30 minutes. Another example of exceptional service.
The only downside is the nearest Didi drop-off location is a bit of a downhill walk to the hotel and back. It was fine for me but those with mobility issues might find it tiring.
I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a beautiful sanctuary in such a fast-paced city. I can’t wait to return.

GGuest UserLocation: The location is absolutely fantastic, right in a tall building next to Jiefangbei, and you can overlook Jiefangbei from the hotel.
Service: The front desk service on the top floor was absolutely terrible!!! This is the first time I've encountered such a bad front desk service after staying in so many hotels both domestically and internationally!!! My partner checked in on the 25th, and everything was fine. I checked in around 9 PM (or a little after) on the evening of the 25th. One of the two front desk girls had an extremely mean attitude. When I handed her my ID to check in, after she registered it, she looked down at my ID again before returning it. Then she turned to the other girl, her 'oppa,' with a mocking smile and looked at my ID in my hand, whispering something. I don't know what she was laughing about, but I definitely felt offended. If it weren't for the queue behind me, I would have confronted her.
My partner didn't get a welcome drink when they checked in on the 24th, so when I was checking in on the 25th, my partner wanted to say: 'I'd like to order a welcome drink, we didn't get one yesterday.' But before they could even finish, the front desk person impatiently interrupted: 'You can order it over there' (with a look of disdain, as if we were trying to take advantage of her). Later, a young couple came and wanted to order food, so they asked the front desk: 'Could you give us a menu?' The front desk person (with a puzzled expression): 'You want to order food now?' The couple: 'We'd like to order the wine package.' The front desk person: 'You want a wine list?' Then the male bartender next to her leaned over and asked: 'What's wrong?' She turned to the male bartender (with a mocking, playful tone): 'She wants a wine list.' (Don't tell me it's a Chongqing personality thing or Moxy's young style, I'm a local.) The front desk lady on the first floor on the 26th was super nice, though.
Facilities: The facilities were typical Moxy decor, nothing outstanding. There was only bottled water in the room. The sewer smell was extremely strong, the entire room smelled damp and like a rag that had been washed but not dried properly. I called the front desk to ask for an air freshener, and they said they had mosquito repellent. Finally, an auntie brought an air purifier and sprayed some air freshener at the door and in the bathroom (which didn't really help). The top floor is a revolving restaurant, but it only opens at 1 PM, so I didn't get to experience it.
Environment: The entire hotel reeked of fried crispy pork from downstairs, including the hallways, elevators, and especially the lobby on the first floor. The smell was intense. My partner and I, one stayed one night and the other two nights, felt like we were marinated in the smell.

Even the cleaning staff would politely greet you, which made for a very comfortable experience. The breakfast was also very generous. Laundry and drying facilities were always available without any wait, which was a nice touch.
The building itself is grand, with high floors offering great views, especially pleasant at night. The soundproofing is excellent too; the heavy doors and soundproof strips mean you can't hear any noise from next door. They also provide a complimentary large fruit platter, a free minibar, and many free beverages. I particularly liked that the bed area, a more private space, isn't visible immediately upon entering the room – a very well-thought-out design. 👍👍👍
Hygiene: The cleanliness was exceptional. I checked several nooks and crannies, and there was no dust, which was very impressive.
Environment: The environment was also fantastic. The hallways felt private and quiet. The high floor offered expansive views and good natural light, which was a big plus.
Facilities: The lobby manager mentioned that the hotel was only renovated this year, and staying in a new hotel and new rooms was very comfortable. The overall quality is definitely top-notch. 👍👍👍
