GGuest UserThis was my first time in Chongqing, and I wanted to make sure I had good food, good drinks, and convenient transportation. This hotel was perfect! Getting around by taxi was super easy, and the subway was also an option, though I preferred taxis. Just down the street from the hotel, there's a whole row of delicious Chongqing hot pot restaurants and tasty baozi. Behind the hotel, you'll find another street packed with local Chongqing specialty snacks, all of which were excellent. The hotel also offers breakfast, making it a top choice for travelers!

First of all, the friendly staff ot is the first thing you notice when staying at this hotel, from helping with all of our questions, to receiving and sending parcel on my behalf (many parcels I may note). Thank you to the reception ladies for your patience and support.
The breakfast was excellent and the overall the hotel ensures you have everything you may need for your stay ( toiletries, umbrella, hairdryer, etc.).
Lastly, the hotel it is clean and new, but the best thing it is the friendly staff that makes all the difference.

The guesthouse features a modern minimalist design, with wooden pavilions and intricately carved window frames; every detail showcases the unique charm of the local culture.
In terms of service, the staff are warm and attentive, from the thoughtful check-in guidance to meticulously planning sightseeing routes for guests, reflecting their genuine care. Here, you can savor authentic Bayu cuisine and experience a home-like warmth.
In the morning, as the first rays of sunlight hit your window, you can stroll through the forest and embrace nature's bounty. After nightfall, the guesthouse glows with warm lights, reflecting the starry sky, making you feel as if you're in a dreamland. He contacted me in advance before I checked in, and all the requests were met wholeheartedly. It was a great stay experience. Each room type has its own characteristics. I will try another room type if I have the chance.

TToo Chai YoongAn Absolute Gem in Chongqing – Exceeded All Expectations!
This hotel exceeded my expectations in every possible way. After a very poor hotel experience in Chengdu just prior to this, staying here was an absolute breath of fresh air.
Exceptional Service: Every single staff member was incredibly helpful and polite. They assisted us with ordering takeout and constantly checked in on us, even offering complimentary food and drinks while we relaxed at the Level 21 lobby.
Fantastic Rooms: The room was spacious, the bed was ultra-comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. I loved the large bathroom—especially because the shower design actually keeps the water from splattering everywhere. The soundproofing was also top-notch, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.
Prime Location: You couldn't ask for a better spot in the city. Take the elevator down to Level 1, and you're just a 100m walk from Hongyadong. Go up to Level 22, and a 100m walk brings you to the Kuixing Building. Jiefangbei Shopping Street is only 500m further, and the Linjiangmen Metro (Line 2) is right nearby, making the rest of the city incredibly accessible.
Amazing Value-Added Perks: The breakfast spread was delicious and came with a stunning view of Chongqing. They also offer great daily perks: free coffee, refreshments, popcorn, and ice cream at the lobby once a day, plus complimentary desserts every night from 8:00 to 10:00 PM. To top it off, they provide free laundry service (delivered straight back to your room) and will even transport your luggage to the nearest train station or airport for you!
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing. I will definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserThe hotel is really easy to find and super close to Chaotianmen Pier. The subway station is right outside, and there are tons of restaurants nearby, including lots of hotpot and snack places. Our room was very quiet, and they even upgraded us to a river-view room for free! We had a great view of the river on the left and the bridge on the right, which was lovely. The room was spacious too, with a projector, and plenty of room for luggage. It's a perfect place to stay when visiting Chongqing.

NNingningningningbingI booked a twin room through Trip.com, but my request to cancel the order was denied. Since I couldn't get a refund, I had no choice but to stay. The front desk upgraded me to a deluxe king room for just under 2000 per night. It came with welcome fruit and Tianfu Cola. You can see the view from the window in the pictures.

GGuest UserOur stay at Sunyata was outstanding. We were back in Chongqing visiting a friend for a wedding and Sunyata was the Percy place to stay. It’s located in the 3rd footpath/Shancheng Lane, so be aware that you must walk down several steps of the Alley to reach it, it is not directly on a road. This can be challenging during holidays when the area is busy, but it is well worth the effort. Hotel staff is there to greet you at the drop off point and assist with baggage. The staff is truly outstanding as they goes above and beyond to help their guests and ensure they have an excellent stay. The rooms are beautiful with incredible views of the Changjiang and Nan’an. The breakfast included is delicious with a variety of different cuisines to choose from. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip!!

GGuest UserLocation: The location is absolutely fantastic, right in a tall building next to Jiefangbei, and you can overlook Jiefangbei from the hotel.
Service: The front desk service on the top floor was absolutely terrible!!! This is the first time I've encountered such a bad front desk service after staying in so many hotels both domestically and internationally!!! My partner checked in on the 25th, and everything was fine. I checked in around 9 PM (or a little after) on the evening of the 25th. One of the two front desk girls had an extremely mean attitude. When I handed her my ID to check in, after she registered it, she looked down at my ID again before returning it. Then she turned to the other girl, her 'oppa,' with a mocking smile and looked at my ID in my hand, whispering something. I don't know what she was laughing about, but I definitely felt offended. If it weren't for the queue behind me, I would have confronted her.
My partner didn't get a welcome drink when they checked in on the 24th, so when I was checking in on the 25th, my partner wanted to say: 'I'd like to order a welcome drink, we didn't get one yesterday.' But before they could even finish, the front desk person impatiently interrupted: 'You can order it over there' (with a look of disdain, as if we were trying to take advantage of her). Later, a young couple came and wanted to order food, so they asked the front desk: 'Could you give us a menu?' The front desk person (with a puzzled expression): 'You want to order food now?' The couple: 'We'd like to order the wine package.' The front desk person: 'You want a wine list?' Then the male bartender next to her leaned over and asked: 'What's wrong?' She turned to the male bartender (with a mocking, playful tone): 'She wants a wine list.' (Don't tell me it's a Chongqing personality thing or Moxy's young style, I'm a local.) The front desk lady on the first floor on the 26th was super nice, though.
Facilities: The facilities were typical Moxy decor, nothing outstanding. There was only bottled water in the room. The sewer smell was extremely strong, the entire room smelled damp and like a rag that had been washed but not dried properly. I called the front desk to ask for an air freshener, and they said they had mosquito repellent. Finally, an auntie brought an air purifier and sprayed some air freshener at the door and in the bathroom (which didn't really help). The top floor is a revolving restaurant, but it only opens at 1 PM, so I didn't get to experience it.
Environment: The entire hotel reeked of fried crispy pork from downstairs, including the hallways, elevators, and especially the lobby on the first floor. The smell was intense. My partner and I, one stayed one night and the other two nights, felt like we were marinated in the smell.

GGuest UserBooked this room for a friend, and they were really happy with it. The location is fantastic, super convenient for getting around. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were lovely and gentle. The room's decor was very comfortable and soothing, really helped calm my restless mind. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so I just snapped a quick pic of the lobby to share. Definitely recommend!
