Chongqing Hotels with Bars

The biggest problem was the facility was nothing like the photos were shown. The photo descriptions the hotel put here was only the touristy spots nearby the hotel. Not at all how the hotel looked like. They're located in a commercial building which is at least 20 years of age after construction. The lobby on the ground floor and outside of the building looks old. There're seven or so stairs to reach the lobby (though mostly hotels were designed like this in Chongqing) The lift were worn out. In peak hours you gotta wait at least 15-20mins to get the elevator since the hotel rooms locate on 21st and 22nd floor and there are so many commercial offices and other small hotels in the building. I would recommend some chain hotels nearby which they owe the whole building for hotel services, the price were not so much different. What I felt scammed the most was the room I booked with so many nice descriptions were the ”no window” rooms, which I haven't noticed as they were written in a very small text description. My mom was already upset seeing the worn out building, the lobby and the lift. I asked for an upgrade because of the unclear description. But they require me to pay $600RMB to upgrade to a river view room. I had no choice so I added $500RMB so I got a good windowed room. I didn't want to leave negative comments at first... but the staff guilt-tripped me saying if I leave any comments that's not fully five stars, their salary will get deducted by their boss. At first I felt bad for them, but later I thought about it, this is the strategy companies in China use to get their five stars comments saying if customers don't do this, their salary will be deducted. I don't want to encourage this way of doing business so I decided I should come and at least leave some truthful comments. Other than the feeling of feeling scammed to live in a hotel that looked completely different from the pictures they show, the location is really amazing, 2 mins walk to the nearest train station, 15 mins walk to Raffles City Chongqing and to the city center with big malls. The housekeeping staff and reception were great nice people as well.

We loved our stay so much that I will give 6 stars if I can. The snack & drinks offering in the lobby is plenty and filling us when we reach late without dinner, when we woke up late for breakfast but too hungry to look for lunch. It was delicious esp. the small xiao ma hua snack (can't found outside) & chongqing cola. Room is clean (& cleaned daily) also meet our requirements of actual fridge (not small minibar fridge), 2 queen bed and good price. The location is central near Ba Yi Lu, Jie Fang Bei & the night market. No issue with didi or other transport provider allocating too.

Very friendly and helpful staff and room was clean and lovely. Free laundry services was also offered. Also near a major shopping and eating street. Would recommend to others for the affordable price.

The hotel has a great environment, complete facilities, and very clean rooms that make you feel extremely comfortable. The hotel staff have a great attitude and are very warm and welcoming. Most importantly, the location is excellent and transportation is convenient — it’s right near Raffles, making shopping and dining very easy. I highly recommend this place to everyone. 酒店管理环境不错，设施用品齐全，房间清洁很干净，给人非常舒适，酒店工作人员服务态度很好，很热情，主要就是地理位置优越交通便利，就在来福士附近购物吃饭很方便的，推荐大家选择这里！

We have an exceptional experience at Aspera, a boutique hotel. The room is clean and equipped with fixtures of excellent quality including from Dyson and Harmon speaker. The breakfast has very good spread, with excellent coffee and roof-top view. The service staff are all very well trained and motivated with great service culture. Hotel Manager 小夏 leads a young vibrant team with strong competence and professionalism. Hotel even provides complimentary concierge laundry service, and afternoon tea. Hotel location is perfect, 5 mins walk to train station, pedestrian walking street and close to all attractions. Hotel is located on 24th floor within an office block, which is common for all the hotels within the city vicinity. Strongly recommended.

The name of the hotel is ”McMairie Air Hotel”. Our experience was great. The staff was really caring about our needs. 🙏 I highly recommend this hotel on the 44th floor with a stunning view and excellent location: in front of the Raffles, Raffles City Mall, and many entrances to Line 1 of the Metro. I just wish there was coffee in the room, but no big deal 😉

The hotel room is clean with good lighting, strong water shower pressure and the room size is quite big. The buffet breakfast spread is very good with many seats available to cater for tour group. The well manner housekeeping staff did perform well in maintaining the room clean. There are many restaurants (a food court), convenience store, bakery, tour companies at the ground floor of the hotel building. There are many taxi queuing at hotel entrance to pick up customer. However, for near distance or heavy traffic road, the taxi driver will advise customer to walk instead. The lift was a bit dim and slow in service at times which is due to sharing with other 10 hotels within the building. A good security control for entering the hotel room, guest can scan the room card and the specified floor number will be displayed. The reception and restaurant is located at 21st floor and front desk staff namely Alan, Penny and Sophia are helpful is providing good customer service when make enquiries. The Linjiangmen Metro line 2 (Exit A2) is just a stone throw away from the hotel entrance which make travelling around Chongqing convenient. The Liberation Monument, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Kuixing Lo is about 100 meters away. Will definitely stay again at this hotel if visit Chongqing in future.

We stayed at NASITING•納斯汀酒店 at Jiefangbei for 5 nights. It was equipped as a smart room w great room amenities, at a super good rate. Cafes, metro station and malls are just right downstairs. Only thing was it was hard to find as there is no drop off point. The nearest would be 重庆解放碑皇冠假日酒店·健身中心 Crowne Plaza Hotel. This hotel lobby is on the 13 floor.

Not a very happy experience since the booking indicate a upgrade but we still get assigned the same room type (without non transparent toilet door). And they forgot to give us our afternoon tea ticket :(. Nevertheless, the room is still pretty but not practical. Think for very long what group type is suitable for twin bed with transparent toilet door but failed...so think twice before booking especially for ladies. Other small things like shower and shampoo label not clear (the chinese word to indicate its type is not bigger than 1cm), they mix up push and pull label in bathroom and toilet, the big mirror is near the transparent toilet room and bathroom door etc...hmm heard this design is this hotel group signature. Guess need to extend booking precaution to this whole hotel group.

The hotel stay at Atour was very comfortable. Service was good. There is free laundry service and we do not have to stay in the laundry room to wait as there are staff to help us with the laundry. We also were able to arrange for a late checkout up to 6pm because we had a late flight. There is also free supper from 9.30pm to 11pm daily. The location is also very good. The only downside is that the elevators are rather slow.
