GGuest UserFor my Chongqing trip, I chose this villa, perfectly situated in the heart of Jiefangbei. It's a short walk to Hongyadong, the Yangtze River Cableway, and Huguang Guild Hall, offering a quiet escape amidst the bustling city. Getting around was incredibly convenient.
The standalone villa boasts a stylish Republic of China-era design, with spacious and grand interiors. Its 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom layout is ideal for families and friends traveling together. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, and you can enjoy views of the Yangtze River and the cable cars right from your window.
Facilities and amenities include underfloor heating throughout, central air conditioning, Marshall speakers, Dyson hairdryers, and Kohler bathroom fixtures. The attention to detail is exquisite and thoughtful, making the comfort far exceed expectations. The cleanliness was impeccable, the bedding was soft, and privacy was excellent.
The 24-hour butler service was incredibly attentive, responsive, and warm. They even helped with itinerary planning and food recommendations, ensuring a worry-free and reassuring experience throughout our stay. It's perfectly suited for vacations, gatherings, or even as a photo-op spot. This is undoubtedly the best riverside accommodation in Chongqing. I will definitely choose it again on my next visit to Chongqing. Highly recommended!

It's a must-visit, especially for the ancient North Hot Springs, which is surrounded by lush greenery and a thousand-year-old hot spring temple. It offers a very serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for unwinding and clearing your mind. The private hot spring on the room's balcony is incredibly comfortable and great for alleviating fatigue. Owen provided exceptional service. The hotel's design is very distinctive, with every room offering views of the Jialing River.

GGuest UserThe room was really nice, with a huge bed. The private hot spring filled up quickly with thermal water. Xiao Zhang at the front desk was very welcoming and check-in was smooth, with great service. After a late-night soak, I called for room service at midnight and the bathrobes were delivered promptly. The lamb hot pot in the set meal had a generous amount of lamb and offal. The breakfast buffet was much more abundant than standard, and the pea and ground pork noodles were especially delicious. Nanquan hot spring is right across from the hotel, so the location is excellent.

There is a vibrant forest outside the window. When you wake up, you are in the embrace of nature. The house price is affordable, more than 300 on weekdays, and only 100 more on weekends. Delicious afternoon tea is also included (fresh loquat and small cake) 🍰

For dinner, the restaurant recommended us to try the local pickled fish. The fish is fresh and tender, and the combination of pickled cabbage and seasonal bamboo shoot slices is delicious😋

This B&B is only a two-hour drive from the main city, about 130 kilometers. In addition to enjoying the tranquility of living here, you can also choose to drive to nearby Simian Mountain, Zhongshan Ancient Town, Huilongzhuang, Twins Village and other places to experience the different local culture.
☔【Tips for rainy days】
This trip was rainy, rainy, rainy. The weather forecast said there would be rain during May Day, and it was indeed very cold this time. But the mountain scenery in the rain has a special flavor, haha, there is a spooky feeling everywhere, which slightly affects the mood of taking photos and activities...
Overall, the price/performance ratio of this B&B is pretty good, but it's a bit of a pity that the projector in the room cannot be used to cast the screen to watch TV. But being able to wake up in the forest is already a rare experience! 🌲

GGuest UserThe hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which made access a bit inconvenient. Right outside, there's a small stream where children can play in the water and catch crabs, which they absolutely loved. The hotel breakfast offered a good variety of options. For lunch and dinner, we dined at Tianxing Town, right opposite the hotel. Most restaurants there served similar fare. However, I'd strongly advise against a place called 'Nongjia Cai' (Farmer's Dishes). Their ventilation was terrible, making it very smoky and unpleasant to eat. On top of that, they charged a 4 RMB seating fee even for our 3-year-old, a charge that none of the other restaurants in the area imposed.

GGuest UserDefinitely not recommended on WARM DAYS because the hotel will turn off AC completely. I stayed at this hotel from 5/8 to 5/11, In-room HVAC only worked on daytime when outdoor temperature reached about 30 degrees, in room temperature was cooling down and comfortable enough. However, the hotel shut down AC system at night because outdoor temperature is not hot enough, that leading to in room temperature went back to 27 degrees, I got totally sleepless. Understood the hotel tried to save money on electricity, but AC system is the one of basic amenity systems and should not shut down the mostly of the days.
Moldy grout, moldy caulking are all around the shower, the picture attached. Non adjustable shower head with fixed holder need upgraded. That shows lack of the maintenance for rooms.
Room attendant provided great service she could and made me feel comfortable and welcome.
All failures are belonging the management related to budget control.

GGuest UserThe duvet was quite thin, especially for winter. I didn't bother asking for an extra one at the time, thinking the air conditioning would be enough, but it was still a bit cold even with the AC on, and it felt stuffy. I ended up catching a cold the next day.
While it doesn't have smart facilities, it's more comfortable than those smart budget hotels because the room is spacious, the flooring and furniture are high-quality, and the interior design is really nice.
The lower floor also feels quite secure. It's in an open residential area, which feels very safe, and there's a lot of greenery.

Vviviantian605I used to live in another house in Dongquan. This time I wanted to come and feel it after seeing him renovate. The check-in experience was quite good. The check-in at the front desk was convenient and fast, and the price was high.  The room is clean, except for no pool, everything else is fine, but the ordinary room is not equipped with bathrobes, which is unreasonable! The morning is relatively good. There are many small bubble pools in the open air, 39-42 degrees, the size and temperature are very suitable, the best thing is that there is a swimming pool with a suitable temperature, which is great 👏. There are also salt steaming and sweat steaming rooms on the second floor. This is quite good. There are not many people who receive performance reception. The second floor is also equipped with snacks and drinks. It would be better to have a smile on the face of the service sister.
