GGuest UserThis guesthouse is located in an apartment building, so it feels very secure. After we booked, they immediately created a chat group to answer our questions and provided lots of helpful tips for exploring the area. They were also very enthusiastic, even reminding us to bring an umbrella. We stayed for two days and it felt just like home – plus, it was incredibly clean. Relaxing and watching TV back at the guesthouse was just perfect! The location is also excellent, only a three-minute walk from Xiaoshizi subway station, which is super convenient.

The location couldn't be better! It's right near the Xiaoshizi subway station in Yuzhong District.
Just a few minutes' walk takes you to Bayi Delicious Street and Jiefangbei.
A leisurely stroll will get you to Hongyadong and the Yangtze River Cableway.
Basically, no need for taxis the whole time, avoiding traffic jams and wasted time – super convenient for getting around!
The hotel shares a building with high-end hotels, and the overall quality is fantastic.
The Italian light luxury lobby, with its marble and vintage decor, creates a wonderfully gentle ambiance.

We stayed in a high-floor room, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an incredible view.
By day, you see the layered buildings of the mountain city.
At night, you can lie in bed and enjoy the night view of Yuzhong – so calming and therapeutic.

GGuest UserHonestly, the hotel's location is unbeatable. The subway is right outside, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Plus, major attractions like Raffles City and Jiefangbei are within walking distance. There are also great food options nearby – Chen Popo Hot Pot, and the local noodle and sticky rice cake breakfast were all delicious. The room views were also nice. I stayed in a smaller room first, then a larger one for the next two days, and the view from the bigger room was even better.
My only complaints are that the air conditioning in the smaller room was quite noisy, though the larger room didn't have that issue. Also, the wet/dry separation in the smaller room wasn't great; water from the shower would flow towards the toilet, which was annoying when wearing disposable slippers. And the hairdryer! It barely had any power, making me increasingly frustrated while using it. I strongly recommend replacing it with a high-speed one; it wouldn't cost much and would make a huge difference.
Overall, I was quite satisfied. The service was very responsive, and the excellent location saved a lot of travel time.

The guesthouse features a modern minimalist design, with wooden pavilions and intricately carved window frames; every detail showcases the unique charm of the local culture.
In terms of service, the staff are warm and attentive, from the thoughtful check-in guidance to meticulously planning sightseeing routes for guests, reflecting their genuine care. Here, you can savor authentic Bayu cuisine and experience a home-like warmth.
In the morning, as the first rays of sunlight hit your window, you can stroll through the forest and embrace nature's bounty. After nightfall, the guesthouse glows with warm lights, reflecting the starry sky, making you feel as if you're in a dreamland. GGuest UserOur stay at Sunyata was outstanding. We were back in Chongqing visiting a friend for a wedding and Sunyata was the Percy place to stay. It’s located in the 3rd footpath/Shancheng Lane, so be aware that you must walk down several steps of the Alley to reach it, it is not directly on a road. This can be challenging during holidays when the area is busy, but it is well worth the effort. Hotel staff is there to greet you at the drop off point and assist with baggage. The staff is truly outstanding as they goes above and beyond to help their guests and ensure they have an excellent stay. The rooms are beautiful with incredible views of the Changjiang and Nan’an. The breakfast included is delicious with a variety of different cuisines to choose from. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip!!

The huge window offered a stunning view directly overlooking the Jialing River. It was vibrant with bright lights and bustling activity, but surprisingly, it didn't affect my sleep at all – though I know individual experiences can vary. Breakfast wasn't included, but there are plenty of excellent and affordable restaurants downstairs. Airport transfer wasn't provided, but a Didi Premier ride was less than ¥50. There was a washing machine available, but it had a slight mildew smell, so I decided not to use it.

HHeidiQI’ve stayed in Chongqing a number of times and always try different hotel each visit but this one is my favourite so far.
The location is superb. It’s within 5 mins walking distance to many famous attractions of Chongqing. There’s a train station for line 2 near by as well. Plenty of food and shopping right outside. The hotel reception is on the 17th floor and it looks right onto the river.
Staff and their service was incredible. Everyone was so nice and goes above and beyond for me. I mentioned I didn’t like the style of the room I had and they showed me all of the other styles and let me pick which ever one I wanted on the same price range. The reception is 24/7, they also have a WeChat account that you can message at anytime as well to ask questions.
The amenities are great! They provide lots of little things at the reception.
I really enjoyed staying here and would 100% come back next time!

GGuest UserLocation: The location is absolutely fantastic, right in a tall building next to Jiefangbei, and you can overlook Jiefangbei from the hotel.
Service: The front desk service on the top floor was absolutely terrible!!! This is the first time I've encountered such a bad front desk service after staying in so many hotels both domestically and internationally!!! My partner checked in on the 25th, and everything was fine. I checked in around 9 PM (or a little after) on the evening of the 25th. One of the two front desk girls had an extremely mean attitude. When I handed her my ID to check in, after she registered it, she looked down at my ID again before returning it. Then she turned to the other girl, her 'oppa,' with a mocking smile and looked at my ID in my hand, whispering something. I don't know what she was laughing about, but I definitely felt offended. If it weren't for the queue behind me, I would have confronted her.
My partner didn't get a welcome drink when they checked in on the 24th, so when I was checking in on the 25th, my partner wanted to say: 'I'd like to order a welcome drink, we didn't get one yesterday.' But before they could even finish, the front desk person impatiently interrupted: 'You can order it over there' (with a look of disdain, as if we were trying to take advantage of her). Later, a young couple came and wanted to order food, so they asked the front desk: 'Could you give us a menu?' The front desk person (with a puzzled expression): 'You want to order food now?' The couple: 'We'd like to order the wine package.' The front desk person: 'You want a wine list?' Then the male bartender next to her leaned over and asked: 'What's wrong?' She turned to the male bartender (with a mocking, playful tone): 'She wants a wine list.' (Don't tell me it's a Chongqing personality thing or Moxy's young style, I'm a local.) The front desk lady on the first floor on the 26th was super nice, though.
Facilities: The facilities were typical Moxy decor, nothing outstanding. There was only bottled water in the room. The sewer smell was extremely strong, the entire room smelled damp and like a rag that had been washed but not dried properly. I called the front desk to ask for an air freshener, and they said they had mosquito repellent. Finally, an auntie brought an air purifier and sprayed some air freshener at the door and in the bathroom (which didn't really help). The top floor is a revolving restaurant, but it only opens at 1 PM, so I didn't get to experience it.
Environment: The entire hotel reeked of fried crispy pork from downstairs, including the hallways, elevators, and especially the lobby on the first floor. The smell was intense. My partner and I, one stayed one night and the other two nights, felt like we were marinated in the smell.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse has a dedicated butler who provides excellent service. They are very responsive to any issues, even replying and resolving problems in the early hours of the morning. From downstairs, you can directly see the Qianximen Bridge, the confluence of the two rivers, and the Grand Theater – the night view is stunning. You can even catch drone performances from the room, making for fantastic photo opportunities. Hongyadong is right next door, just a few minutes' walk away, and the night view from there is also superb. The bathroom in the room has a separate wet and dry area, and the guesthouse provides a full set of disposable toiletries, which is a thoughtful touch. There's also a single bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak while enjoying the night views of Chongqing's two rivers – it's wonderful. The location is very convenient for transportation; the light rail station is only a few minutes away. The room is well-equipped with all necessary facilities. It's a great choice for travelers. I would definitely choose this guesthouse again for my next stay.

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Le Méridien Chongqing, Nanchuan! It's located right in the Nanchuan Wanda business district, next to Line 3's Gongmao Station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Plus, there's a one-stop shop for food and shopping right downstairs. As expected from a Marriott property, the quality is top-notch. The lobby has high ceilings and a strong artistic vibe, and the spiral staircase is fantastic for photos. The rooms are spacious and bright with separate wet and dry areas, and the amenities are premium. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views and stunning nightscapes. Sara and Daisy provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service – always smiling, enthusiastic, and quick to respond. The breakfast spread was excellent, a rich mix of Western and Chinese options, making for a perfect experience. It's ideal for both business trips and leisure travel. I was extremely satisfied with my stay!
