SSrivisan P.Staff is not professional. She did not explained every rooms and everything to us at one time. At first, we misunderstood that she did not give the correct room to us because she did not show the pantry and balcony. Location is good but surrounding is under construction right now. every morning we can hear the sound of construction so we have to close the window in state to enjoy the weather. Entrance right now is a bit to complicated to get in because of construction. Room is comfortable. Bedding is good. Place is near everything and underground metro. They tried best to advise places to eat and what to be careful.

PpogbackMy stay in an executive room during this Chongqing trip was absolutely flawless from start to finish. It offered an unparalleled experience, making it an excellent choice for a holiday or extended stay in Chongqing. Everything far exceeded my expectations, providing comfort and a sense of calm throughout. What truly impressed and won me over was the Regent Hotel's meticulous and thoughtful service, easily making it the benchmark for high-end hotel service in Chongqing. From the moment I arrived for check-in, the staff were professional, gentle, and impeccably polite. The doorman warmly greeted me, assisted with parking and luggage, and handled everything with gracious humility. The front desk check-in process was efficient and quick, with staff patiently explaining hotel facilities, guest benefits, and local sightseeing tips. The communication felt natural and comfortable. Throughout my stay, the entire team maintained a high standard of service, responding promptly and thoroughly. Room cleaning was meticulous and attentive, with amenities, mini-bar drinks, and local snacks replenished daily. The room was spotless, tidy, and pleasantly fragrant. All requests were handled quickly and appropriately, with attentive service that wasn't intrusive, perfectly embodying the quality of a top-tier luxury hotel. I felt completely at ease and comfortable the entire time. My executive room had an exceptional overall feel, with an open and airy layout and a spacious ambiance. The decor blended elegant Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist luxury design, creating a sophisticated yet warm atmosphere. The layout was well-designed, and the soft furnishings were exquisite. The warm lighting created a soothing ambiance. The room's soundproofing was excellent, ensuring quiet and privacy, leading to superb rest. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered unrivaled views of the confluence of the two rivers and the Yuzhong Peninsula cityscape. Whether relaxing or soaking in the tub, I could enjoy the riverside view, immersing myself in the mountainous city's scenery. The bedding was soft, skin-friendly, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom featured a dry/wet separation, and premium toiletries were well-stocked. The executive room's exclusive mini-bar was refreshed daily with complimentary drinks and snacks. Various thoughtful daily essentials were perfectly provided, with attention to every detail, making for a luxurious and pleasant living experience. The dining experience was equally outstanding, with dishes that excelled in color, aroma, and taste, balancing both quality and flavor. The hotel offered a rich selection of meals, catering to both local Chongqing flavors and exquisite Western cuisine. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including regular Western pastries, hot dishes, congee, and fresh fruit drinks, as well as authentic Chongqing noodles and pea and meat sauce noodles, full of local character. Executive room guests also enjoyed exclusive executive lounge benefits, including breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening happy hour. The food was exquisitely prepared and diverse, in a quiet, less crowded setting, offering greater privacy and a full sense of exclusive treatment. Additionally, the hotel's main dining options, specialty hotpot, and the Two Rivers Bar on the 7th floor are all worth experiencing. The ingredients are premium, and the cooking is done with care. The Two Rivers Bar boasts a prime view of the river at night, offering a double delight for both sight and taste with the evening breeze and delicious food. The hotel's public facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained. The high-altitude heated swimming pool was quiet and uncrowded, allowing me to swim while enjoying river views. The gym had professional and well-equipped machinery to meet daily workout needs. The spa and relaxation areas were well-appointed, perfect for unwinding after a tiring journey. The public areas exuded elegant style, with a sophisticated fragrance, creating a tranquil and refined environment where every snapshot looked like a professional photograph. Overall, my impression of the stay was that Regent Chongqing enjoys a prime location with unparalleled views of the two rivers, complemented by impeccable, thoughtful service, excellent dining, a high-quality executive room environment, and comprehensive facilities. Everything was executed to perfection. With the added executive privileges, the overall value for money and comfort were significantly enhanced, creating a tranquil and luxurious sanctuary in the bustling mountain city. Next time I visit Chongqing, Regent Chongqing will still be my top choice, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to friends traveling or vacationing in Chongqing. It's truly worth revisiting.

GGuest UserThis hotel is right in the Eye of the Sky building, which makes getting around super convenient. It's only about ten meters from the Xiaoshizi subway station exit. Plus, it's really close to the cross-river cable car and Dongshuimen Bridge. Just a short walk over the bridge takes you to Xiahaoli and Longmenhao Old Street. One night, after having hotpot in Longmenhao, we just walked back across the bridge to the hotel. The front desk service was excellent; we got back late, and they left the trash bags we requested right on the front desk for us to grab. The hotel environment was quiet, and we didn't encounter any issues with unsolicited flyers or ads.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We specifically chose this hotel because of the large windows and the view shown in the photos. However, the room we initially received did not match the pictures at all. The windows were much smaller, and the view from the bed – which was clearly shown in the photos – was not possible in our room. The main issue is that the photos used for this room category are misleading in two ways. First, some of the main photos show floor-to-ceiling glass walls without any frames. We were later told by the staff that such windows do not even exist in the building due to structural reasons. Second, the other photos do show real rooms, but all of them have full glass walls across one side of the room. This was also not the case in the room we received. So overall, the images do not accurately represent what guests actually get when booking this category. We raised this issue and were asked to move rooms the next day, which meant packing everything again during our trip. The new room, however, had almost the same window size and the living area was even smaller, so it felt like a downgrade rather than a solution. After further discussions, we were told that our room corresponds to the booked category. This is exactly the problem: if this is the correct category, then the photos used for advertising are clearly misleading. Eventually, we were told we could move again the next day, so only for the last 2 nights received a room that actually matched what we expected. This means that during a 4-night stay, we had to change rooms twice and slept in three different beds. Unfortunately, while this final room finally matched some of the pictures we saw when booking, it had not been properly cleaned. There was visible dust and quite a lot of hair in the room. At that point, we decided not to raise another complaint, as the whole situation had already taken too much time and energy. Communication with the staff regarding these issues was inconsistent and frustrating. The language barrier probably played a part in it, but we really felt misled by the staff several times. We spent several hours discussing this issue and received different explanations at different times, which made the situation even more confusing. In the end, we were offered a free breakfast on our last morning and compensation of 200 RMB, which we do not consider adequate given the inconvenience of the long discussions, the multiple room changes, and the fact that we spent half of our stay in rooms that did not match what we booked. Overall, the service in handling this issue was poor, and the room presentation on the booking platform does not reliably reflect what guests can expect to receive. While the view itself was undoubtably beautiful because of the high floors the hotel is on, we would recommend other guests to clearly check which room they are booking and to get in touch with the staff before you arrive to confirm you are actually getting a room that matches your expectations.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, very close to attractions like Hongyadong, within walking distance. The front desk service is very thoughtful; you can reach out to them anytime if you need anything, and they offer free luggage storage, which is incredibly convenient. Taxis are available right downstairs, and the room was very clean.

GGuest UserStaying at Bolian Resort truly felt luxurious. This was my first time experiencing a high end resort in China, and I chose Bolian over other options in the area, including Banyan Tree Hot Springs, with very high expectations. While it is not perfect, I’m glad to say that it does meet the standards of a luxury resort. The level of service and attention to detail, even with the language barrier, was comparable to what I’ve experienced at other top tier hotels like Park Hyatt. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the staff for fulfilling my personal request to have berries and chocolate prepared in my room. What really touched me was the towel art and flower petal decorations on the bed, thoughtfully arranged to mark a very personal occasion, which was celebrating my mental health recovery. Seeing the Mandarin character for “happy” placed on the bed felt very endearing. It was a small gesture, but one that felt genuinely kind and thoughtful. Other aspects of the service were just as impressive. While I was away enjoying the Bolian hot spring spa, the staff prepared my room for the evening by lighting all the mini candles, mopping the floor, and creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for my return. That level of attention to detail really stood out. That said, I did notice a small oversight. The tea filter I had used for my pu’er tea was still left in the sink, which suggested that housekeeping may have been rushing, possibly knowing I would be returning sooner than expected. It was minor, but noticeable in an otherwise polished experience. The hot spring amenities, both in the room and around the resort, were amazing. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I also appreciated how attentive the staff were at night, especially when guests were walking along the hot spring paths in the dark. The unexpected room upgrade was a lovely surprise as well, so thank you for that. Overall, I had a very pleasant and restorative stay. However, one thing that really affected my experience was the breakfast. The breakfast was honestly disappointing for a resort of this standard. The options were limited, the presentation was not great, and the overall quality fell short of expectations. I have uploaded photos with this review in the hope that management can improve this area. To be frank, breakfast took away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay. Being served ONE CHICKEN FOOT as part of the spread was highly amusing, but not in a good way. I have had much better Chongqing noodles and dim sum at local eateries for a fraction of the price. For a meal priced at around 200 yuan, it felt hard to justify......This is where people often say not to eat at five star hotels because the better food is usually found on the streets. It was disappointing that Bolian’s breakfast ended up reinforcing this stereotype... In summary, Bolian Resort shines when it comes to service, atmosphere, attentiveness, and hot spring facilities. With a serious improvement to the breakfast, it could easily become a truly excellent luxury experience.

WWonder JoThe overall the experience was decent with some notable pros and cons. On the positive side, the room is of a proper size for two people, with a spacious shower area, design is thoughtful, including space to hang clothes conveniently. The bed is comfortable, and soundproofing is generally tolerable. The location is right in the heart of the tourist area, within walking distance to plenty of food and souvenir shops just downstairs. However, it can get very crowded due to this. Breakfast is acceptable, though not particularly outstanding. One key downside is accessibility. Even when requesting a taxi to drop off at B2 level for easier lift access with luggage, drivers may refuse with various reasons. The alternative route requires carrying luggage up a flight of stairs, and the slope is quite steep, which is not convenient when handling heavier bags (around 20kg). Overall, a comfortable stay in terms of room and location, but accessibility could be challenging for travelers with large luggage.

TTcchengOur family of 6 stayed in the 33rd-floor unit for eight nights. The location is absolutely fantastic! It's right above Hongyadong's 11th floor and the entrance to Qiansimen Bridge. All the food and drinks you could want are downstairs. You get a panoramic view of Chaotianmen and Qiansimen Bridge, and can even watch drone shows directly from there. The staff on duty were incredibly helpful and sincere, answering all our questions and serving us wholeheartedly. The unit itself was well-equipped and clean. They also went out of their way to fulfill our extra requests without any perfunctory responses. We had an unforgettable trip to Chongqing!

Ddimych1969I give the hotel a solid 10 for its location. You can easily walk to all the famous locations around. Our room was on the 29th floor, which was an added bonus. In the evening, you can enjoy a fantastic view of part of the city, although many buildings turn off their lights at 10 p.m. The cleaning is always different, it seems to depend on the staff change. Sometimes they would remake the bed, change the slippers and towels, and sometimes they would shake our bedspread and put it back on top, crumpled. Once, I asked the receptionist about the TV remotes and the loose-fitting door to our room. They simply replaced the batteries and suggested placing a cloth between the door and the frame to prevent it from swinging. I didn't like this moment. On the website Trip.com in the description of the hotel, it is indicated that there is an assistance service for buying tickets to different locations. When we asked about this, we were simply led to an employee of the travel agency with all the consequences. In many cities of China, in other hotels, the staff really helped us buy tickets through We Chat If it weren't for minor issues, I would rate this hotel as excellent, with a prime location.

Ffenghai20As a frequent traveler, my recent stay at Le Méridien Chongqing, Nan'an, truly felt like a home away from home. The entire experience exceeded my expectations, and I simply have to praise it! First off, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient. It's close to the subway and surrounded by easily accessible transportation, making it a breeze to get to various attractions. For anyone traveling with luggage, this is a huge relief. Despite being in the heart of a bustling commercial area, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat. My room was surprisingly quiet, completely undisturbed by outside noise, which was perfect for a restful sleep. Stepping into the guest room, my immediate impression was how clean and comfortable it was. The decor was cozy yet elegant, and all the bedding and towels were spotless and odorless. Even the corners were meticulously cleaned, showing just how much effort the hotel puts into its housekeeping. The room was fully equipped with everything I needed: the air conditioning, TV, and water heater all worked perfectly. Charging outlets were conveniently placed, and thoughtful additions like shelves and bedside tables showed great attention to detail, meeting all a traveler's needs. Each day after returning from sightseeing, my room was neatly tidied, and drinking water and toiletries were replenished – this level of care truly made me feel valued. The hotel's service was impeccable. From the front desk to the concierge, and from room service to the restaurant staff, everyone was warm and patient. Daisy spoke gently, Nancy was incredibly efficient, and Suki at the guest services center handled requests promptly. Coincidentally, it was my anniversary during my stay, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared welcome fruits and a handwritten blessing card. These small surprises instantly added an extra touch of warmth to my trip. When I accidentally left a small item behind during an outing, I contacted the hotel, and the staff immediately located and safely stored it, patiently explaining how to retrieve it. They were truly dependable. Breakfast was also a fantastic experience. The restaurant environment was clean and bright, with spacious seating. The variety of food was extensive, with hot dishes, cold dishes, main courses, desserts, fruits, and drinks – everything was fresh and delicious. The freshly made Chongqing noodles, in particular, were spicy, savory, and incredibly flavorful – I instantly fell in love and started my day feeling energized. The hotel's public areas were also meticulously maintained. The elevators operated smoothly, and the lobby's resting area was comfortable and spacious. It was a thoughtful touch to be able to sit down and rest my feet or grab a hot cup of water when I was tired. My stay at Le Méridien Chongqing, Nan'an, truly showed me how dedicated the hotel is to each guest. The facilities are excellent, the service is incredibly detailed, and it offers great value for money. Here, I not only had a comfortable stay but also felt a tremendous sense of warmth – it was truly an exceptional travel experience. I've already recommended this hotel to friends planning a trip to Chongqing, and I will definitely choose it again on my next visit!
