Chongqing Hotels with balcony

The hotel is very close to Jiefangbei, with many food options downstairs. The Yangtze River Cableway and Metro Line 1 are right outside, which is extremely convenient. The room was clean and tidy, offering views of Raffles City and the river. The concierge was warm and attentive, preparing welcome snacks for us and recommending many local delicacies. It was a fantastic stay experience, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends visiting Chongqing next time! Five-star review all around.

A very satisfying stay. Bus and subway stations are nearby, as are shopping malls and a wide selection of restaurants. The front desk staff were very helpful, and there was coffee and fruit available. There was a washing machine and ironing machine, so I didn't have to worry about my clothes getting wrinkled. The room was a good size and clean. The TV had a projection function, and the front desk even gave me a small gift when I left. I left in a hurry, though, so I didn't take any pictures of the room. This place is unbeatable! The room is super close to Jiaochangkou Metro Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. The building is less than 100 meters in a straight line from the subway exit. There's more than one entrance to the building, so it's more convenient to communicate in advance after booking. The lady at reception helped us upgrade to a river-view room, and the view was absolutely beautiful! 🌹 The room was spacious enough, very close to many must-visit attractions, and the facilities were comprehensive, making it a great experience for a family trip. There are multiple food streets right outside, so dining is super convenient. It's also very close to Jiefangbei, Shibatidang, and Shanched Budao, all within easy walking distance. The service experience was just as good; disposable amenities in the room were replenished very promptly. Luggage storage after check-out was seamless. It's a great choice I'd recommend to friends.

Whenever I visit a new city, I always make sure to stay at its top-rated design hotel. I was immediately drawn to Jixiang, especially since it's located in the former site of Ren'ai Hall. The historical charm is simply irresistible; checking in felt like stepping into a storybook scene. Chongqing in July is scorching, but from the moment the butler greeted me, the thoughtful and meticulous service was continuous – something few hotels manage to achieve. Porters were always on hand to help with luggage, and the butler even brought an umbrella to shield me from the sun. Inside the hotel, the temperature was perfect. While I checked in and relaxed, they offered me authentic 'laoying tea' and some small snacks. Jixiang's overall design exudes a serene, tranquil Wabi-sabi aesthetic, yet it also incorporates the relaxed feel of a Tuscan natural retreat. It truly offers a peaceful oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, with beautiful scenery at every turn. My room was clean, tidy, and bright, equipped with a Bluetooth speaker, welcome fruit, and a mini-bar. What impressed me most was the Meijian co-branded liquor and cocktail guide. Jazz music paired with a slight buzz truly created an incredible atmosphere... a perfect night's sleep after a small drink. The hotel's merchandise is also worth buying; it's affordable but high-quality. The fragrance of their aromatherapy products is very sophisticated, and they even have scents and fridge magnets inspired by the building's architecture, showing a deep understanding and presentation of its cultural significance by the hotel brand. Beyond the hotel's interior experience, the location is excellent, making it convenient to go anywhere. I highly recommend everyone visiting Chongqing to experience a night here! STAFF APPRECIATION: I would like to thank Xiao Yang, Xiao Yi, and Master Li for their care during my stay. They were kind, professional, warm, patient, and proactive. They were also incredibly accommodating with my inability to speak more than a little Chinese. Xiao Yang even made a point to speak English with me during breakfast and checkout. Master Li was very tolerant with my last-minute requests for pickup and drop off and Xiao Yi quickly located and added me on WeChat to allow us to chat more comfortably. As it was raining, she even met me by the car with an umbrella when I arrived. I felt quite pampered! DIRECTIONS: To reach the hotel requires a few transfers. It's not too troublesome and is well worth it! 1) I arrived at the Wulong South Railway 🚉 and followed the exit signs outside. 2) To the left was the large blue bus 🚌 mentioned by another reviewer. It will take you to the Fairy Mountain Visitor Center for 16 yuan. From here you can reach the most popular tourist destinations in Wulong to include the Three Bridges. 3) Outside the center you’ll find another blue fairy bus which will take you to the mountain itself for an additional 8 yuan. This bus will stop at the gate where tickets will be checked. Be sure to contact the hotel and give them your information before you set off because the cost of this ticket is included with your stay! They will reserve the ticket for you and send you confirmation and any relevant information. Otherwise, it is 50 yuan per person. 4) This bus will drop you off at a plaza with a few shops and the boarding platform for the scenic train. 🚂 Contact the hotel and someone will come to pick you up, as private vehicles are not permitted beyond this point. REVIEW: If availability and your budget permit, I cannot emphasize strongly enough how much it is worth it to splurge on the room with a 270-degree view of the property. I went on a foggy, wet weekend and still found the view incredible. The windows cover three walls. I can only imagine how amazing the sky must look on a clear night. The minibar has a good selection of free snacks and drinks and a sampling of the local tea. Meals are also served at the hotel. The cost is not low, but for the exclusivity of the location, I considered it more than fair compared to what I’ve paid elsewhere. Also, the dishes looked and tasted great. There are also vendors down the hill where the train and shops (show in the picture below) are located. Look for the sign identifying the train exit and go down the steps. These were the only places I saw to purchase food, drinks, or supplies once you pass the entrance to the mountain, so plan accordingly. By the way, tickets for the scenic train were included with the reservation as well. I highly recommend it. It stops at the grasslands and the horse stables. Now, I will allow the pictures to speak for me. TLDR: Multiple transfers lead to a place that is secluded and picturesque and right in the heart of the mountain. That means your dining choices will also be limited, but the meals provided (at a cost) were delicious. Tickets to the mountain and scenic train are included in the price. A photo session is included as well, but I did not utilize it. I recommend setting out earlier to miss the worst of the crowds. The staff is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The room with the 270-degree view offers the best experience. 10/10 recommend for those seeking quiet and the peace only nature can bring. 🏞

Pros: The breathtaking views of Jinyun Mountain and the Jialing River are truly exceptional from this location. The hot spring facilities are also impressive, with a good variety of pools and a cleverly designed, intricate layout. Cons: The hotel's hardware facilities are quite outdated. For this price point, the hotel could definitely learn from the operational standards of top-tier brands. Furthermore, the breakfast selection is limited, and the toiletries in the room are of poor quality – these are areas with significant room for improvement. Large sections of wooden panels in the public areas are discolored or in disrepair. Overall: If you're looking for value for money, you might want to reconsider. However, if budget isn't an issue and you prioritize experiencing the beautiful scenery and hot springs, it's definitely worth a visit. Finally, the complimentary travel photoshoot provided by the hotel was a nice touch, and I'd like to commend the photographer, Zixuan, for her excellent service.

It’s the best hostel I’ve been in so far. The owners are really friendly and provide you with some fresh homemade bread. The rooms and the amenities are clean and there are two sit down toilets. It’s close to the city centre, the night market and the metro. They also provide some helpful recommendations for restaurants and activities. Another big bonus is the rooftop terrace and the little balcony in the second floor. It’s a very social hostel and there is always something to do. I would really recommend this place!

Great value for money! The hotel lobby is stylish, and the rooms are chic and clean. The city-view room is perfect for taking photos. My child loved it. It's also super convenient for getting around; you can walk to attractions right from the hotel, and it's located right at Jiefangbei. The staff were all friendly and enthusiastic. My charger broke, and they lent me one for the night. When I checked out, they even gave us a painted fan and some snack souvenirs. My child loved it so much they insisted I leave a good review! If you want to have a fun trip, this hotel is definitely the best choice.

Top-notch view! ✨ Just checked out and I have to rave about this amazing guesthouse! The location is incredible, only a five-minute walk to the beach. Evening strolls watching the sunset were so therapeutic. The room was clean and cozy, and the smart home features were super convenient to use. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire sea view perfectly, and waking up to the sun in the morning was pure bliss~ The owner even thoughtfully prepared local snacks and a travel guide. The value for money is absolutely fantastic, I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

The hotel room is nice, the toilet is super big, the staff is very enthusiastic, the heating in the room is a little poor, the air conditioner is a little loud, but the heating is not very sufficient, but there is an electric blanket, so it won't be cold when sleeping.
