The HNA Airport Hotel Haikou is in a fantastic location, right next to Haikou Meilan International Airport. You can walk there or take the shuttle, making it perfect for early morning flights or layovers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-soundproofed, so you won't hear any noise. The service is warm and friendly, and the airport shuttle service is very convenient. The facilities are comprehensive, and it offers great value for money. The only downside is that it's far from the city center, but it's ideal for travelers catching flights.

Due to a project, I needed to find a place to stay near Meilan Airport at the end of 2025, away from the city center. I stumbled upon Jing Huayu and ended up staying there multiple times, totaling 12 nights, which left me with warm and cherished memories.
The location is a convenient 10-minute drive from the airport high-speed rail station, and their shuttle service is efficient and well-organized. The guest rooms are clean, and the amenities are reliable. The front desk and service staff are warm and thoughtful; every time I checked in, it felt like 'coming home.' There are plenty of dining options nearby, and with residential buildings, a school, and a community center, it's a lively yet peaceful little haven next to the airport, blending modern and classic vibes. A particularly warm highlight of my memories is the cleaning staff, an 'ajie' (auntie) who was enthusiastic, professional, and full of life. She even shared some exquisite homemade pastries with me, giving me a glimpse into the laid-back life of the hospitable people of Hainan! Thank you for your care; I hope we have the chance to meet again.

After our trip to Shimei Bay, we arrived at the hotel with my entire family, including young children and elderly parents, along with several large suitcases. We were understandably quite tired from the journey. Upon arrival, it was clear that the hotel had a significant shortage of staff both inside and outside the lobby – a stark contrast to Shimei Bay, where service personnel were readily available everywhere. Although there weren't many guests checking in at the time, and the scene wasn't particularly busy, given our large group and numerous bags, I had to proactively request a luggage cart to make things easier. For a resort hotel that prides itself on the guest experience, the initial service response would be much better if it were more proactive and if staffing levels were more adequate.
Regarding the room, the promotional pictures I saw when booking showed a sea-facing view with a visible beach. However, the actual view from our room was quite different from what we expected. While we could see the sea in the distance, our primary view was of the hotel's pool area, and the beach wasn't visible at all. The visual impression didn't match the promotional images.
During the Chinese New Year period, the hotel organized various activities, some free and some with a charge, which is understandable. However, it was quite surprising to find that even digging for sand crabs on the public beach area required an additional fee. Compared to the hotel we stayed at previously in Shimei Bay, the activity planning here was indeed a bit lackluster.
On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent. There was a rich variety of options, especially the Pandan Tofu Pudding, Pandan Pancakes, and various Hainan noodles. These were not only distinctive but also delicious, adding a wonderful culinary delight to our mornings.
What truly impressed us was the mature food scene around the hotel. From Coconut Chicken, Wenchang Chicken, Ding'an Jumping Beef (which can be hotpot or BBQ), Baoluo Noodles, Hainan Noodles, to all sorts of desserts and snacks – the choices were incredibly diverse. This added a lot of local flavor and memorable gastronomic experiences to our trip.
The hotel's beach area itself was quite good. The sea breeze, sand quality, and the overall experience were very relaxing and comfortable.

Let me first say, hotels are always looking for a good review, but I will only give a good review if I honestly feel they deserve it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Qixian~ the resort grounds are absolutely stunning. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised to discover that the resort has been thoughtfully designed to feel part of the rainforest. Everywhere you look there are giant boulders, gurgling clear streams, ancient trees and hidden trails that make you feel you are walking deep in a forest. All you hear are the birds and the water rushing in the streams! We have travelled all over China, and this is the quietest, most authentic feeling nature spot we have ever experienced.
In addition, there are so many hot springs you can choose to relax in, or you can use the hot spring attached to your balcony!
The restaurant has a good variety and we liked everything we ordered, it was fresh and flavorful, we tried the pork ribs and braised tofu, both delicious, but the green coconut filled buns were a perfect ending!
The lobby staff was friendly and helpful, and gave us all kinds of upgrades! You can get pickup on the carts anytime, but we preferred to walk and enjoy the beauty, the resort grounds feel huge, but honestly its well designed so you can reach any spot in 5-10 minutes.
Also, they have all kinds of activities you can join. We really enjoyed the rainforest walk, the lady from the Li family that conducted the walk was so lovely, we could tell she really had a connection to the forest and just radiated joy as she showed us all the plants, it was one of the highlights of our stay!
Our room was clean, the sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. The view onto the palm forest was so relaxing to look at as we soaked in the spring.
The infinity pool was spectacular, the setting is gorgeous and peaceful. The coconuts and dessert we ordered were really good, however, the drinks we ordered were awful and maybe they can get some more outgoing staff to work at the pool bar, maybe because it was winter time and less people are at the pool?
Breakfast is served in a building that overlooks the river, there is ALL kinds of food, if you are a Westerner you can find fried eggs, toast, and pastries. But I recommend going to the area where fresh rice noodle is made for you on the spot, add toppings and fried eggs, it was delicious!
There are some rustic areas to the resort- it feels a bit abandoned in areas, like its just too big to keep up with ie. Giant empty pools, some of the buildings look in desperate need of refurbishing, but overall we felt like the resort was truly beautiful and amenities really made this a great value for the price we paid. We are already planning to come back when we need a break from the city!

The hotel definitely stands out as the face of Ocean Flower Island. It's located right at the entrance to the island, and its iconic twin towers are truly magnificent, offering a visual feast without even needing to leave the building. Plus, the hotel's location is super convenient.
**Facilities:** The room was incredibly spacious and bright, with a modern minimalist design. The facilities were very new, the bedding was pristine and comfortable, and the cleanliness was spotless. The bathroom was also very large, and the separate wet and dry areas were a thoughtful touch.
**Service:** We checked in around noon on March 11th. The front desk lady was exceptionally warm and professional, making the check-in process efficient. She also thoughtfully provided us with a guide to exploring the island and even upgraded our room. A special thank you to the front desk lady for her service, and the bellhops were also fantastic.

Very satisfied! We landed at 9 PM and the hotel's shuttle bus got us there in 10 minutes. There were 3 adults and 1 child, and the two 135cm beds pushed together were perfectly fine. The lady at the front desk provided excellent service. For breakfast, we had local specialty noodles across the street. At 8:30 AM, the shuttle bus took us to Meilan High-Speed Rail Station for Lingshui. The best part? The price was fantastic!

I just can't help but rave about the Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay! First off, the ambiance – you feel the grandeur the moment you step in. Both the lounge and the gardens exude a high-end feel; every shot you take looks like it belongs in a magazine. The design is incredibly thoughtful, for instance, the bedside switches are conveniently placed, and the lighting is smartly sectioned so you're not blinded if you get up at night.
My absolute favorite part was the large balcony. Lying on the long sofa out there, enjoying the sea breeze with some tea and fruit – it was just bliss! The suite itself was spacious and beautiful, with clearly defined living and sleeping areas, making it feel incredibly open and bright. The bathtub and hot water were perfect; a hot bath and a show at night just melted away all the day's fatigue. The bedding was super comfortable – soft yet supportive – I just hit the pillow and slept soundly until morning. The AC temperature was just right, making for a very pleasant stay.
An unexpected bonus was having a kitchen, which made it easy to whip up a simple seafood meal. And I have to praise the pool – the water was so clear you could see the tiles at the bottom. Staff were constantly maintaining it every day, so swimming felt completely safe.
The breakfast was abundant and incredibly delicious, especially the noodles, which were thin and crispy – so good.
Oh, and for parents with furry friends, listen up! The hotel has a dedicated, large, and clean grassy area for pets to play. It’s incredibly thoughtful!
All in all, this experience was absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Sanya!

The hotel's environment and service are excellent. The sea-view room offered a stunning sunrise! They even provided a complimentary 'goodnight soup' every evening, with a different one each night, which was a thoughtful touch. On the first day, we received a complimentary fruit platter! The hotel pool was large and clean, and the lifeguard was incredibly helpful – seeing I was struggling with my breathing technique, he proactively offered to teach me! I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

The entire hotel, from the lobby to the hallways, felt dark and dim. And because it's pet-friendly, there was a persistent strange odor. However, the front desk was great; as soon as we mentioned it, they immediately sent someone to spray air freshener. For vegetarians, the breakfast options were extremely limited. Other hotels at least offer fried eggs and Chinese crullers (youtiao), but here I was stuck with plain congee and soy sauce. The front desk staff were very friendly and tried their best to accommodate any requests. The hotel can receive packages for guests, but generally, delivery services drop them off at a nearby parcel station. It's not too far, so it's acceptable. Downstairs, there's a Lawson and a regular convenience store, plus plenty of food, drinks, and snack shops in the vicinity. The hotel's location is quite convenient, but since it's in an older district, the streets downstairs were a bit dirty. Also, there were always people on motorcycles waiting for fares downstairs, and they were quite loud. The hotel offers free self-service laundry and dryers, which is a fantastic amenity!
My stay at Four Points by Sheraton Qiongzhong was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was soft, and the service was warm and attentive. The front desk staff was efficient and even proactively upgraded my room. The breakfast was plentiful, the facilities were new, and the soundproofing was excellent. It's conveniently located and offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

GGuest UserEverything exceeded expectations. Brand new and clean, only six months after renovation, with virtually no smell. The hygiene service was excellent, and the linens were great. I didn't have any allergies or itching while sleeping there, and the linens and mattress were very comfortable! Definitely worth staying at. Because the actual condition was better than the promotional pictures, I didn't take any photos; just refer to the photos provided by the hotel. The actual condition was much better than the reviews, I don't know why it only got 4.3 stars, I'm giving it 5.0. I'm a clean freak and rarely give high scores. This isn't a shill review, you'll know once you stay there. The only downside is you can't sleep in late; when I stayed, around 9 am there was some renovation work or something nearby, and there was the sound of chainsaws. Everything else was superb, incredibly quiet at night. Probably because there are fewer people in the summer. The hotel's own courtyard is beautifully designed. Quite nice.
HHweiling OwThe place was hard to find. There are tonnes of shop lots at the bottom of one entrance, and the other entrance had a large open area with stairs that goes up. The security guard I asked did not recognise the name, and there is no obvious signs that I could pick up. (I cannot read mandarin). I dont think there was any other way aside from contacting the person via the app. Even if you found the entrance, there is no obvious reception area.
We had to ring the contact person on the Trip.com app, and I had family who could speak mandarin to help guide the rest of the process. He is helpful and quick to respond. He brought us through a metal door, to a dark alleyway with lifts inside. If we weren't in a group of seven, I would have worried about my organs at this point.
There was a bit of a juggle with my cousins and my side of the family. So I ended up staying in the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT. The layout of the three bedroom apartment (located on the 18th floor) that we ended up in is similar to the two bedroom apartment with the lounge carved up to create a new bedroom. apartment is quick to respond. The two bedroom apartment (located on the 25th floor) felt bigger and cleaner, and had better views.
From here onwards, it is the review for the THREE BEDROOM APARTMENT: We ran out of toilet paper and had air-conditioning issues. The contact person is quick to respond and solve our issues. The beds are hard for my body that is use to a softer version. There is no daily cleaning services that suits us. They supply toothbrushes, shower caps, body and shampoo wash in the bathroom, and disposable towels. The towels can be reused during the time you are there, but they are meant to be thrown away so they dont have the responsibility to rewash the towels. We didn't use the swimming pool on the third floor as we were too busy. It is RMB4 per use. They also supply a singular giant bottle of water. I think it was 5 litres. The air conditioning units in all three rooms work. Our view is a live view of how Sanya people live in Sanya, families in another building, the locals sitting on their balcony on a hot day.
You get a couple of tags to tag into the building, out of the building, into the lift, and into the bedroom. There is also a code you can type in to get access into the building. When we left, the contact person helped us with getting a taxi to the hotel. It went through his account and we paid him cash rounding up to the closest amount. He did not want any more for helping us. He was extremely helpful.
This is one of the cheaper choices in Sanya - and my rating is for the price and location.

GGuest UserThis stay exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is fantastic, right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and dining. The front desk lady checked me in quickly and even recommended nearby restaurants. The room was incredibly clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was incredibly quiet at night, allowing for a deep sleep. The bathroom had plenty of hot water with just the right pressure, and the toiletries smelled fresh. The breakfast was varied, with both Chinese and Western options, and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. They even gave me a small gift upon check-out, which was so heartwarming! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area; the value for money is excellent, and I highly recommend it!
GGuest UserI was very impressed with this hotel. The room we stayed in was clean, tidy and fully equipped. Lying on the bed, looking around, the night view outside the window comes into view, which makes you feel happy. The hotel's waiters are warm and friendly and take good care of guests. The nearby scenery is also unforgettable. Overall, I am very satisfied with this stay.

YYaraquwanlaTraveling with a little one meant we didn't want to rush, so we booked a hotel right by the beach in Tianya Town. To my surprise, our balcony offered direct ocean views, and the beach was just downstairs! 🏖️ The hotel also boasts a sea-view restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood 🦞, and a massive infinity pool right by the ocean – absolutely stunning. Our room had that trendy 'ins cream style' which I loved for its minimalist yet luxurious design, perfect for taking lots of beautiful photos! The room was spotless and well-kept. Since we had a child, we frequently requested extra blankets and water, and the butler service was incredibly quick to respond. Truly thoughtful!

Perfect
QQiqikkkWe were so lucky to find this hotel in Sanya! We came here to take our wedding photos, and after a few exhausting and sunny days, we specifically chose Tianya Town to relax and enjoy before leaving.
The day before check-in, a butler proactively called to confirm our itinerary. On the day of our arrival, they also confirmed our arrival time in advance and even thoughtfully waited for us at the street entrance. Since cars can't access the street and the hotel is located at the very end by the sea, the butler kindly helped us with our luggage, which was a huge relief.
Upon check-in, we were offered refreshing lemon water, which tasted amazing. Both the front desk staff and the day and night butlers were incredibly enthusiastic and attentive, with a gentle and detailed approach that made us feel right at home. The hotel also provided a homemade food guide, and every recommendation we tried was fantastic, with no duds.
The room was spacious, and the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm – ensuring a very comfortable sleep. All the facilities were complete and in perfect working order. The hotel is situated at the very edge of the beach, making for a quiet and peaceful location with excellent views.
What touched us the most was that we had a very early morning flight, outside of the airport shuttle driver's working hours. Yet, the butler still proactively helped us carry our luggage to the pick-up point, stayed with us until the car arrived, and made sure our luggage was settled before leaving. It was truly heartwarming.
Overall, the experience was a perfect 10/10. Highly recommended!

You can also help send your luggage to the entrance of the village. Next time you come to live in his house.
GGuest UserI really love Sanya, and this hotel was fantastic! It was clean, well-equipped, and the environment was beautiful. The service was excellent; they provided airport transfers and even made us drinks. My friend and I both loved it. MMaoxiaojieoooI give this hotel 100% praise. I always thought that the hygiene of B&Bs is difficult to guarantee, but the hygiene here is very good. The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun. I strongly recommend going to the beach bar opposite at night to sit. There are fireworks 🎆 and it is also very convenient to ride a bike
