Absolutely Unforgettable Experience at MGM Sanya! Shoutout to Jelly from Guest Relations! Location: The hotel boasts a prime spot in Sanya Bay, with a private stretch of soft, white-sand beach. Just cross the street, and you're at the ocean—the sunsets are breathtaking! Facilities: Infinity pool + kids' water park + VR game zone—there's so much fun for both adults and children, you won't even want to step outside! Ambiance: Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the resort vibe is totally on point. The live music at the lobby bar creates such a chill atmosphere, and every corner is Instagram-worthy! Cleanliness: The room was spotless, complete with disinfection seals on the bathtub. Even the towels on the beach chairs were folded into swan shapes—attention to detail that truly delights! Service: A special thanks to Jelly—she was incredibly responsive and made sure all our needs were met effortlessly.

The room was nice. The only thing is that prices are a bit high during peak season. Apart from that, I'd highly recommend it, especially as it's only a 2-minute walk to the beach.

If you need a place to stay for one night due to an early flight or train, I absolutely recommend this hotel. It offers excellent value for money; for just over 300 yuan, you get a huge room with comfortable bedding. There's a shuttle bus from the airport every half an hour, and it only takes a few minutes to get here. To get to the train station, you can walk through the hotel directly, and it takes just five minutes – super convenient. The hotel windows are also great; you can barely hear any airplane noise. The downsides are that the soundproofing isn't great; you can hear people talking in the next room. Also, when I called to ask about the airport pickup, they didn't clearly specify which gate to wait at for the shuttle bus; we had to ask airport staff after we landed. Another issue is that the hotel towels are too old and dirty; I suggest replacing them, as they were quite disgusting to look at.

Nice hotel located in Dadonghai. Lots of things to do nearby the hotel. Hotel is abit blocked by shopping mall and other buildings which made us abit hard to locate. Staffs were really polite. Awesome breakfast.

They charged me a deposit almost equivalent to the room rate when I paid for the room, even though they hadn't released the pre-authorization yet. So, effectively, I paid double the deposit. I've never encountered a hotel that charges deposits this way. This is supposedly the best-performing hotel in the area, yet it has so many bad practices. 1. They literally collected double the deposit. In contrast, most 5-star hotels in Sanya don't even collect a deposit. Hotels in Shenzhou Peninsula also don't. Only this place does. 2. The lobby bar food is genuinely terrible. The only redeeming quality is the view. They don't even have basic pastries that a normal 5-star hotel in Shanghai would offer. 3. They generally make guests wait a long time for check-in. I arrived at 2 PM and waited for over an hour, then went to ask and they still told me to wait. If you arrived at 3 PM, they'd make you wait. If you arrived at 4 PM, they'd make you wait. There was a large crowd of people waiting nearby, and no queueing system, so people would just cut in. Most 5-star hotels with better service in Sanya usually start check-in by 1 PM. 4. The facilities are old. The cushions on the balcony were already sunken. Of course, this also has a lot to do with the relatively low素质 (poor manners/upbringing) of many guests from the mainland. They carelessly dirty other people's cushions, arbitrarily dirty bathtubs, and you see unruly, noisy children (mostly due to their parents' low素质) jumping around on the lobby bar chairs with their shoes on. Pros: 1. The beach is relatively uncrowded. 2. The room was equipped with a yoga mat for guests, which was convenient. 3. The room design and layout are well-thought-out, with good lighting. 4. Aside from the slow and poor check-in service at the front desk, other staff members (shuttle bus, restaurant, pool, and lobby bar) had good attitudes and provided good service. 5. The tap dance show was enjoyable.

We stayed in a three-bedroom oceanfront suite. The layout was incredibly spacious and open, with two of the bedrooms offering breathtaking sea views directly from the bed. Waking up to such a beautiful ocean vista every morning was truly therapeutic. The service was impeccable, with daily housekeeping and replenishment of amenities. A convenient shuttle service was also available to Xiaodonghai, and the hotel is very close to the Luhuitou Scenic Area. My friends and I were all so reluctant to leave!

It was a lucky find, a serendipitous encounter, that led me to choose this B&B. The cleanliness was impeccable. As someone who usually struggles with sleep, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly comfortable the bed was; I slept soundly every single night. A pristine beach is directly accessible downstairs. The warm and attentive service from all the staff truly made me feel completely at home, despite being so far away. Facilities: The hotel is very new, and the family suite is really spacious, with a large bed and a bunk bed, perfectly accommodating a family of four. Hygiene: Housekeeping was prompt and actively communicated with guests, with a very good attitude. Environment: We were lucky enough to see the most beautiful sunset the day before the typhoon, with flaming clouds reflecting on the pink beach and coconut trees – perfect for photos. Service: As a family-friendly hotel, the activities were incredibly well-organized and engaging. Even during the typhoon when we couldn't leave the hotel, the kids had a blast.

Before my trip to Sanya, I did a lot of research, worried about potential pitfalls. A friend recommended this hidden gem of a hotel, and it certainly didn't disappoint. It's only 15 minutes from the airport, so when we arrived late at night, we didn't have to endure a long, tiring journey. The warm greeting from the front desk staff immediately made us forget our fatigue. Even though it was late, they provided many recommendations for good food and fun places. (By the way, all 5A-rated scenic spots are now admission-free!) Our room featured a dry/wet separation bathroom and was impeccably clean. Despite being close to the high-speed train station, the soundproofing was excellent; we couldn't hear a thing. Before heading out in the morning, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of options, including local specialties like marinated noodles and noodle soup – a perfect start to the day. In the evenings, it was incredibly convenient to dine at the mall next door on level B2. All in all, this hotel truly made our summer trip a wonderful memory.

Sanya has a place I absolutely *must* visit every year, and that's Wanning. Wanning is a place I'd go to 10,000 times and still want to return! Le Meridien is also the hotel where our kids never want to leave, year after year... 🌴 **Stunning Public Areas & Soft Sandy Beach** Stepping into the lobby, you're immediately greeted by the azure sea, blue sky, and the island opposite 🏝️. The lobby bar is wonderfully cool, and they even arranged afternoon tea for us while we were checking in – who can resist such joy? 😄 We quickly changed into our swimwear and headed straight for a dip. The family rooms are super convenient, with direct access to the kids' pool. The 6000-meter private beach is uncrowded and picturesque, with fine, pristine white sand. The area around the Horizon Restaurant offers picture-perfect shots that need no filters! 😄 🌴 **Squirrel Farm 🐿️** An idyllic day living amidst nature! This farm, nestled between the blue sky, beach, and coconut groves, lets kids experience being a little farmer for a day. They can pick fresh vegetables to feed the small animals. There are adorable bunnies 🐰 that sweetly chase you for veggies, as well as pigeons, chickens, ducks, geese, and sheep who will spontaneously break into a lively 'concert' whenever they please. And of course, the stars of the show are the little squirrels scurrying above your head. It's a joyful day for the kids, and an enviable one for mom! 😂 🌴 **Beiye Planet Kids' Club** The kids' club at Le Meridien has become an old friend; we always enroll our children here. The indoor and outdoor activities are constantly varied. You can even paddleboard on the river next to the Squirrel Farm! If it rains, they have indoor crafting, whack-a-mole games, and an indoor playground – giving moms the perfect opportunity to snap some beautiful photos! 😄 🌴 **Sea Adventures** We pretty much experienced all the sea activities here that we didn't get to do in Sanya: sailing ⛵️, banana boating, family snorkeling, and speedboat rides 🚤. It’s truly not hot out on the sea, just filled with happy screams! Since all these are hotel-organized activities, we felt completely at ease. Snorkeling was a new experience for us, taking place near Jiajing Island. We got to see corals 🪸 and small fish up close, and even feed them. The accompanying instructor will take photos for you 📷. My advice: don't bring anything along, as it'll likely get lost. Wear long-sleeved and long-legged swimwear 😄. 🌴 **Hidden Gem ~ Crabbing Expedition 🦀** After our beach BBQ one evening, we were fortunate enough to catch a pink sunset, and my little photographer brother captured some truly 'life-defining' photos for me. Spurred on, our crabbing squad set off! Armed with headlamps, we shone them on the little sand crabs on the beach, and they'd freeze. A mineral water bottle works best for catching them. Dad found a fantastic spot where crabs seemed to 'drift' over like pieces in a connect-the-dots game! From around 9-10 PM, there's an area next to the river where we paddleboarded during the day, specifically near the reef and the beach in front of the Squirrel Farm. Perhaps due to the high tide, crabs floated in one by one. Prepare a net, or just use thick gloves to grab them. Don't ask me how I know – everyone here becomes an expert! 😂 🌴 **Dining at Le Meridien** During our stay, we dined at the Chinese restaurant, Horizon Restaurant, and enjoyed the beach BBQ buffet. All were excellent and perfectly suited for families, especially the beach BBQ buffet. With a live singer and a stunning sunset, the atmosphere was truly magical! How should I sum it up? My son asked me very earnestly: “Mom, can I please stay a few more days? I still want to play!”
