This hotel in Haitang Bay is a hidden gem! The 180-degree sea view room is absolutely stunning; waking up to the vast blue ocean is incredible, and the small sofa on the balcony is perfect for watching sunrises and sunsets – so therapeutic. The 13th-floor infinity pool seamlessly blends with the sky and sea, and the pink and purple sunset hues are breathtaking. The spiral staircase and whale tail sculptures make for amazing photo opportunities. Our butler, Xiao Shutiao (Little Fries) 🍟, was incredibly attentive and responsive, even recommending some lesser-known spots to visit. The complimentary travel photography service had a perfect hit rate. The breakfast spread was extensive, and the Hou'an noodles were authentic. The mini-bar is restocked daily with snacks and soft drinks. It's only a 10-minute drive to the duty-free shop. This place truly maximized our vacation experience. We'll definitely be back!

Our stay at the Mandarin Oriental was an unexpected delight, like stepping into a hidden paradise, a place where the summer overture never ends. The vast lawns, lush trees, and rolling hills seamlessly merge with the distant ocean, creating a harmonious and picturesque scene. We experienced the beauty of nature under the glow of the sunrise, sunset, and starlit nights. The hotel's location is perfect for snorkeling; you can stroll to the beach just a few steps from your room, where coral and small fish are abundant everywhere. It truly is the most idyllic vacation spot. Saving the best for last, I'm incredibly grateful for Elena's help and care; it was the warmest part of this trip. The little gift she waited to give me until after 10 PM on New Year's Eve, her recommendation for the delicious Dolphin Japanese restaurant, and our engaging chats about interesting insights all made this trip feel incredibly worthwhile, as if I had journeyed through famous mountains and rivers. Even minor hiccups were promptly resolved by Elena. Thank you, Elena, you made me feel that, on this journey, imperfections themselves can be a form of perfection. Alcohol, music, exquisite food, the ocean, coral, fish, lush lawns, starlight, passion and beauty—a celebration dancing in the heart, wings of moonlight, and a galaxy of dreams, all born in this land of freedom.

We came to the Raffles Hotel because of the movie ”Lost in the Stars.” First off, the airport transfer was with Alpha, which really set a high-end tone. Big shoutout to our butler! Our little one needed a nap, so the butler specifically arranged for a late check-out for us. Every corner of the hotel is picturesque, making it perfect for traveling with a small child. The overall decor has a Southeast Asian style. Breakfast was plentiful, and even though there were a lot of people dining during the New Year's Day holiday, the hotel's service was still top-notch. When my child fell in the breakfast area as we entered, the hotel manager even gave them a little monkey backpack 🎒. Overall, it was a great experience!

Although the hotel has been open for a while, the facilities and environment are truly exceptional – very clean and tidy. My only minor complaint is that the outdoor pool felt a bit too simple. The breakfast buffet is huge with an incredible variety of dishes. I stayed two days and still couldn't try everything! The Hainan specialty Hou'an noodles were delicious, and so were the Jianbing Guozi (savory crepes). Dinner was also excellent. The Hainan yellow beef was very fresh and the quality was good. The Zao Po Cu (vinegar soup) and spicy soup were appetizing and tasty. There was also a live band performing 🎤. It would have been even more perfect if cocktails 🍹 were available. The Wenchang chicken was very fresh. Service was consistently great. The hotel offers many adult activities, but you definitely need to book them in advance, as it's very difficult to get a spot by booking on the same day. I had a wonderful trip. The hotel had a full itinerary of activities, and the scenery was beautiful. Special thanks to our butler, Mile, for their thoughtful service, including preparing fruit and a small cake. The activity arrangements and bookings were very reliable. 👍

The handsome guy at the front desk upgraded me to a room with a higher floor and a better view. The room is uniquely designed, brightly lit and cozy (many hotel rooms are not very brightly lit), which is very satisfactory. We had dinner at the hotel, the restaurant service was very enthusiastic, and they specifically noted that our dishes should be lighter, and the dishes served were really good, thank you 🙏. The hotel is next to the scenic spot. Although it was drizzling, it was still nice to borrow an umbrella from the front desk to walk around. In February, I could smell the faint fragrance of osmanthus and saw many flowers I had never seen before. It is a very good hotel!

Whenever I want to eat seafood, I always like to go to Maniao. The first choice for staying is Lingao Country Garden Golden Beach. The hotel should have been opened for more than ten years. The hotel facilities are well maintained and the service level is excellent. This year, it was quite unexpected that a staff member contacted me in advance the day before check-in, and arranged a room for me in advance and upgraded it. Thank you very much. I hope that the service level can be maintained for a long time. There are not many good hotels on the west line of Hainan.

We chose to spend New Year's Eve here with my wife, and this hotel truly has a unique charm and comfort, thanks to its rainforest surroundings and hot springs. Inside the hotel, you can leisurely stroll along rainforest paths, and from your room's balcony, you can soak in a hot spring pool. The constant chirping of countless birds and the soothing sound of the stream, day and night, create a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is definitely not luxurious or bustling, but it offers a welcoming, home-like ambiance. When we arrived, an elegant lady greeted us at the entrance, helped us with our luggage, and directed us to parking. Her demeanor made it hard to believe she was a concierge staff member. During the New Year's Eve celebration, there was a ceremony where a jar of wine, buried in the forest, was unearthed and personally uncorked and shared by the hotel's general manager. That's when we realized the lady who greeted us was indeed the general manager! A hotel where the GM acts as a concierge, and does it so naturally, must be special! However, the hotel also had some... unique staff members. For our New Year's Eve dinner, we ordered a roasted suckling pig. After waiting forty minutes with no sign of it, a seemingly authoritative male waiter told us it would take a bit longer, about ten minutes. With it being New Year's Eve and so many people, I completely understood. But then we waited for another hour. Fortunately, we finally ate it in 2025, and we were still happy. When we checked out, a female manager gave us a discount, but that male waiter seemed displeased. The next day, for New Year's dinner, I still wanted to try the hotel restaurant. Upon entering, we ran into the same male waiter from last year, who said there were no tables and we'd have to wait twenty minutes. I asked if the food would still be slow, and he said it would be very slow. So, we decided to get a taxi from the lobby entrance to eat outside the hotel. A white-haired older 'bellhop' who was helping us get a taxi said, 'If you want Li family cuisine, we have excellent food here.' I said, 'You don't have any space!' He replied, 'Come, come, I'll arrange something for you.' He led us in, and a table was immediately about to open up! I could tell he was definitely a leader! The story doesn't end there. The next day, for breakfast, the host at the entrance was again that same male waiter we had seemingly offended. He tried to seat us by a pillar! Even though there were clearly seats by the window! We didn't bother arguing and just sat ourselves at a window seat. There was nobody there! I've rambled on for so long, but it just goes to show that while an entire team strives, they can often be held back by a few individuals. I'll definitely come back to this hotel for the hot springs if I get the chance. Why bother going to Japan for a hot spring?

This was my first trip and I had a fantastic time! The cost was reasonable, and we avoided all the back-and-forth traffic that usually comes with popular tourist routes. Let me start with check-in. I'm from Haikou and after seeing good reviews and reasonable prices, I drove 2.5 hours specifically to check this place out, and it definitely didn't disappoint. First, parking was easy with plenty of spots right in front of the lobby. When I arrived, the front desk was quite busy, so I didn't expect overly enthusiastic service. With so many guests, I understood, and I was just grateful that the staff processed my check-in quickly. Second, the service was outstanding. I had booked a package deal, and due to an oversight during booking, I booked a king-sized bed for our family of four. When I brought this to the front desk's attention, the staff immediately changed us to a twin room. The room was very spacious, with a small balcony and access to the swimming pool. Xiao Lin, who was on duty that day, patiently taught me about the activities available at the resort. The swimming pool attendant was also very friendly, and the archery range attendant, being from mainland China, was very outgoing. The kids loved the complimentary archery session, then went on to play bumper cars and laser tag. They had an absolute blast, and the prices were reasonable. I ended up buying two more '3 activities for 98 yuan' packages. Third, the food. The breakfast spread was incredibly rich, probably around 60 different items. The restaurant's operating hours were also very considerate; breakfast ran until 10:30 AM and lunch until 2:30 PM. It's truly designed for a relaxed vacation. I do have a small suggestion: the Chinese restaurant's service and decor were excellent, but the Hainan sour bamboo shoot with sliced pork dish they offered that day, while delicious in Hainan, really impacted the restaurant's aroma. The entire restaurant smelled of it. I suggest perhaps offering more universally appealing dishes that don't have such a strong scent. On a positive note, the steamed yellow croaker at the restaurant was exceptionally good; my daughter said it was the best steamed fish she'd ever had. Oh, and there are also many great food options around the hotel. We ate at the hotel on our first day, and both the price and taste were good. But we also wanted to experience local cuisine, so we went into town. We were lucky to find a restaurant called 'Hunan Renjia' – the proprietress's warm welcome immediately convinced us. Our family had four dishes, all very generous portions. I highly recommend the fan bone, stir-fried crab, Japanese tofu, and steamed egg. The total bill was 245 yuan. Our kids were so satisfied; they truly cleaned their plates. There are also many activities available. The three water activities are all grouped together: swimming, a water park, and a lazy river. (When buying tickets, make sure to check if the water park is included, as it costs 60 yuan per person if not.) There's also a naughty castle, a gym, and a beachcombing activity (starts at 9:00 AM; I recommend kids wear sandals for this, or even go barefoot to feel the seawater. Don't use the small water shoes provided by the hotel as they fill with water and are hard to walk in, preventing kids from fully experiencing the sea.) The guest rooms are also really nice. We received complimentary fresh fruit, and there's a big bathtub which we loved. The kids bathed in it on the first day, but honestly, we barely spent any time in the room afterward; there were too many fun activities to enjoy! We checked out at noon that day and didn't return to Haikou until 7:00 PM. Next time, I'll definitely aim for a three-day, two-night package. Well, I hope this review provides some helpful tips for future travelers. Oh, and if you're a light sleeper, I also recommend this place. The soundproofing in their rooms is truly excellent; not a single noise. This is my first time writing such a detailed hotel review.

Pros: 1. **Convenient Takeaway**: There's a dedicated takeaway locker. You can easily order from Wallace, McDonald's, Luckin Coffee, and nearby supermarkets. 2. **Shuttle Service**: They offer a mini-bus service to and from the high-speed rail station (limited seating, requires advance booking). 3. **Festive Atmosphere**: The hotel really goes all out for holidays! The Christmas decorations and festive fireworks were beautiful – a huge bonus. 4. **Excellent Front Desk Service**: The front desk staff were very proactive in resolving issues, and calls were always answered. Hotel staff were also enthusiastic about helping with luggage. 5. **Great Location**: Very close to Stone Park and Tonggulun, and taxis are easily accessible. 6. **Friendly Cats**: There are adorable (wild) cats around, very friendly and not aggressive towards people. Cons: 1. **Musty Smell in Room**: The room had a strong musty smell (barely tolerable). 2. **Cleanliness Issues**: The hygiene was just okay. There was mold on the walls and air vents, and the bottom of the bathtub was yellowed with uncleaned hair nearby. 3. **Poor Wi-Fi for Apple Users**: The Wi-Fi was not very friendly for iPhone users; it kept disconnecting or failing to connect, so I mostly relied on mobile data. 4. **Terrible Food**: Although the hotel food portions were large, it was incredibly bad. The Baoluo noodles had absolutely no flavor (not just bland). 5. **Noisy Cats at Night**: The kittens were a bit noisy at night (perhaps hungry or something else). I suggest arranging deworming and neutering for the cats, providing a cat house (please don't kill or drive them away) as part of the hotel's 'cute pets' initiative, maybe even creating a cat cafe. For the price of over 400, this hotel is already quite good and offers great value for money.

Hotel near Ocean Flower Island,Danzhou 66.8% of visitors choose this area

The Hilton is definitely the best hotel on Ocean Flower Island, and its location is fantastic. There's a gourmet food street nearby, and a McDonald's just a few steps downstairs. It's super convenient for catching the light show at night, and visiting the museum complex and outlet mall during the day. The hotel facilities are also great; having a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music is a nice touch. The first room I stayed in was quite small. Even though the front desk had thoughtfully given me a room on a higher floor, the hallway in the room still felt cramped. Later, because the air conditioning broke, they moved me to a larger sea-view room, and suddenly, the room felt much more comfortable. The biggest downside in the room was that the shower water wasn't hot enough. After showering, I was freezing! It was practically lukewarm water. The bath towels were also cold, not absorbent, and felt slippery – just so cold. Another drawback was that the windows were very heavy; you needed staff to help open or close them, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, the service staff were generally very good, and my overall experience was still pretty positive.

RRoshchupkina DariaMy girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel from October 3rd to 8th, and we absolutely loved it. Firstly, the hotel was quite affordable, and secondly, the location was perfect—it was literally a three-minute walk to the sea. Next to the beach is the promenade, which is always very lively and lively in the evenings, with many different cafes and restaurants of varying price ranges. The beach itself is very clean, the only downside is the lack of sun loungers. There are also plenty of cafes near the hotel, serving both Russian and Chinese food. There are two shopping centers nearby, and it's not far to the city center. Overall, the location was perfect. 😌 As for the hotel itself, we rented a two-room apartment, which also had a living room and a huge balcony with a sea view. The apartment was beautiful and clean, very cozy, everything was civilized and modern. The only thing was that the renovations in the living room were a bit dated, but I don't think it was a big deal; otherwise, everything was fine. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. On the 8th, he allowed us to check out two hours late and paid for a taxi to the train station. 😊 Overall, if you're looking for a budget option near the sea, this is definitely the place for you.

MM260016****Staying at this B&B was a complete surprise! The room was spotless, tidy, and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful attention to detail. The view from the window was breathtaking, and waking up to the sunshine and birdsong was truly relaxing. The staff sent us a detailed check-in guide in advance, answered all our questions, and recommended some delicious restaurants nearby, away from the tourist crowds. Transportation was also very convenient; it wasn't long before we got on the bus, allowing us to easily reach various attractions. Staying here felt like staying at a friend's house, and the value for money was exceptional. I'll definitely stay here again!

2202106****A fresh start for a new year, the New Year's morning here was peaceful, clean, refreshing, and bright. We chose Sumi for our New Year's Eve, watching fireworks and celebrating New Year's Day. Sumi by the sea is truly beautiful! We enjoyed watching the tides come and go from the courtyard, gazing at the clouds drift across the blue sky, witnessing sunrises in the morning, sunsets in the evening, and starry nights. Sleeping to the sound of waves, it was a treat for the eyes, mind, and body. The room facilities were clean and hygienic, especially the bed, which was incredibly comfortable! The service was warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The restaurant overlooks the sea, offering a pleasant and comfortable dining environment with delicious seafood. There are also many other restaurants nearby, providing a rich and diverse culinary experience. It's a convenient place to live and travel, a true vacation paradise.

ZZhijianliushideshiguangThe front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and the hotel environment was lovely! Watching movies on the projector at night was so relaxing, and waking up to large windows overlooking coconut groves and green lawns was fantastic. Even though we didn't book a sea-view room, we could still catch glimpses of the ocean, haha. The hotel is located in the Tianya Haijiao scenic town, so private cars can't drive directly in. You can take a sightseeing shuttle from the parking lot to the hotel for 5 yuan per person, which drops you and your luggage right at the entrance. It was a great way to experience the town's charm along the way. Overall, a wonderful experience!

GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeper personally came to pick us up. The service was very intimate and water and toiletries were prepared. The view from the residence is really beautiful. You can surf downstairs. There is also a shooting place for the TV drama Xiahua. There are also amusement facilities downstairs. Unfortunately, these two days are cloudy, but fortunately, this trip time is short. I will choose here next time.

JJiajiadejia1209Right across from People's Park, with free parking downstairs and easy access to taxis. The hotel offers complimentary snacks and unlimited drinks, plus robot delivery service, giving it a very modern and high-tech feel. The bedding in the room is quite comfortable. However, the open-plan sink area can be a bit noisy, and while the toilet is separate, it's not fully enclosed. This could be awkward if you're sharing with someone you're not very close to; it's really only suitable for families.
