"Geography: Next to the Golden Sands Bay, suitable for couples, families and children, children will have a lot of fun playing in the sand. I don't know about business, it should not be suitable, because there is a lot of traffic during the holidays, and the public transportation situation has not been experienced yet.
Hygiene/Service: Intercontinental management level, no surprises, no surprises.
Facilities: The special thing is that there is a swimming pool to check in, and the rest is no different from ordinary Intercontinental.
Dining: Breakfast is average, there are fewer Chinese dishes on the third floor, and I haven't tried the Japanese food on the second floor. I guess it's average. It is recommended to eat seafood in the surrounding area.

"The hotel is new and clean. There's underground parking with charging stations. It has central air conditioning, and the family rooms have bay windows with stunning sea views. There are slippers, toothbrushes, towels, a toilet seat, and even a smart speaker for kids – my child absolutely loves it! There's a restaurant on the second floor and a laundry room and gym on the third floor, so you can even lift weights while waiting for your clothes – perfect! There are many residential areas nearby with plenty of food stalls."

"Staff are friendly and professional. Check in was smooth. They provided a welcome fruit plate (an apple, a pear and an orange) which was delivered by a robot. Love the free self laundry service (3 washing machines and 3 dryers) as you don't find this at most of the hotels. Excellent breakfast with varieties. I love the noodle bar which provides freshly made wonton. The hotel also offers late night snacks with steam buns, freshly made wonton noodles from noodle bar and fried noodles. Room is spacious. The only complaint is there are no restaurants right at the hotel or next door. However, there is a 7/11 to grab quick snacks."

"Staff throughout the hotel was very helpful and friendly from the second we walked into the lobby, to the cleaners or the catering staff onsite.
The hotel itself was very clean, with attention to detail in every aspects of the design and finishing. In general I would say it has a much higher quality standards than most multi chain contemporary style hotels I have stayed it throughout China.
The hotel offered a complimentary tea and mid night snack with the booking which was very decent as a light snack and the breakfast had a good selection of foods to choose from.
The location itself is very good for the beach as only minutes away. Only downside is the limited selection of eating venues local to the hotel."

The newly renovated room is relatively large, and there is a large table for more than two people to use at the same time. The decoration is stylish and the color is simple and elegant. "The location of the hotel is easy to find and convenient for travel. There is a bus stop at the door. The beautiful girl at the front desk will greet you and send you lemon tea. "I looked at several twin rooms and they were relatively small, and the big bed was not enough to sleep in. This one happened to have a family room, so I chose this one, but I didn’t expect to be disappointed! Before booking the room, I read several comments about the leakage in the shower room of the family room. I deliberately asked the customer service online and said it had been fixed before I continued to book. Unexpectedly, it was not fixed at all! When the child started taking a bath, we heard the sound of water rushing outside, and the water flowed all the way to the bottom of the bed. We called the front desk and asked an aunt to come over and said that there was no way to get it, and there were no rooms of the same type. The front desk asked us if we could. Give us a bath in the other room, and then continue to sleep in the original room. . . We were speechless. In the end, we insisted on changing rooms and got a twin room. The price difference was not mentioned at all. I really don’t recommend booking this room! If you receive the key to 608, it is recommended to check it carefully or change the room directly! It's the glass wall connecting the shower room to the room. The beautiful seam of the tiles in the lower frame is gone, and the water flows out!"

"We stayed an extra night and were upgraded to a newer room. Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn't cooling. It was past 11pm, and after coordinating with the staff, we were given another room. I thought I could finally get a good night's sleep, but the new room still wasn't cooling! Everything else about the hotel was good, except for the air conditioning, which was really weak. The facilities are also really old. I hope they can improve after the renovations. I'll definitely consider staying here next time I visit Zhanjiang."

The new opening in 2024 is different. The facilities are particularly intelligent, the intelligent customer control operation is convenient, and there are food delivery robots. GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Berman Hotel (Zhanjiang Dingsheng Plaza, Seaside Park) while visiting Zhanjiang, and it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every interaction was friendly and made me feel truly valued as a guest.
The room was immaculately clean and comfortable and had all the essentials for a relaxing stay. I was impressed by how well-maintained everything was. After a long day of exploring the city, it was the perfect place to unwind.
One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic breakfast. There was a wide selection of delicious options, both local and international, catering to different tastes. It really gave me a great start to my day.
Overall, the Berman Hotel offers a delightful experience with its friendly atmosphere, top-notch service, and attention to detail. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berman Hotel (Zhanjiang Dingsheng Plaza, Seaside Park)—you won’t be disappointed!

EEcho____It's quite clean, the only drawback is that it's a bit damp. The main cause of this problem is that the balcony has no windows and the sliding door connected to the balcony cannot be opened. If it is opened, insects or other things will come in. I suggest that the store seal the balcony with a screen so that it can be ventilated. It is also good for indoor appliances (electronic products are most afraid of moisture).

AAnonymous UserThe room is too small, the hotel price is not cost-effective, and the most unbearable thing is that the shower and toilet are integrated into the bathroom. After taking a shower, you are wet and cannot go to the toilet. The hotel hygiene is OK. It is not 10 minutes away from the high-speed rail station as advertised, but at least 18 minutes. Such a small shop has a lot of written compensation, and a deposit is required to get the room card. Many high-level hotels I have stayed in do not require a deposit. The experience is not very good.

__M1391012****This is the best accommodation at the southernmost tip of mainland China. I stayed in Fangpo Village the day before, and the environment was not as beautiful as here. It is only 300 meters away from the lighthouse.
The facilities are very new, the smart devices are well received, and the bathroom supplies and bedding are very good. There is no TV in the room, but the sleep was quiet and comfortable. The food is also good and drinks are provided. The housekeeper worked very hard to prepare our dinner, thank you very much.
A small suggestion would be to have a cup of coffee in the room. Also, there are flies in the room in this season. I wonder if there is any way to improve it.

11356206****Tina, the front office staff, has efficient service and all reasonable needs during the stay can be responded to and resolved quickly. The lighting in the corridor is mild, the floor is clean, and the aroma is fresh and not pungent; the room is well soundproofed (the sound of traffic on the highway is not heard at all when the windows are closed), the mattress is moderately soft and hard, and there are a variety of pillows to choose from: the breakfast is rich in categories: There is ample underground parking space at ground level. Well worth a stay.

20250207-08 Struggling to find reception, as on 2nd floor in building of shopping centre. They do not understand! Just keep saying don't understand: ”wǒ tīng bù dǒng”. Not helpful at all! Just keep on typing on translator and not in WeChat.
Very difficult to know where to park in parking garage beneath the shopping centre building. After driving around, found a sign to hotel, but not at entrance to parking garage.
Morning staff as unfriendly as evening staff. Just shouting at me! I kept on saying ”Weixin”. Lateron she registered...
The trip.com awards were for 2020 and 2022 - definitely not for reception staff in 2025! 😰

AAcw2005Location was good in that it was near some small grocery stores and restaurants. I liked how it was near the farm of the place that I was visiting and volunteering at. The only negative on the location was that it was hard to find since there was no address and it was in an alleyway. Room was clean, the owner was nice and friendly. I like how the room had a washer for guests to wash their clothes in. The only negative was that there were no towels and the toilet doesn't have a flush button. Toilet is in small area. The shower was too small for me to take a shower in. Would be more than happy to comeback to this place if I needed to.
