Next to the karez, we drove by ourselves. This place is very comfortable to drive by yourself, the swimming pool is good, and the sand burial is okay. But the buried sand desert is the most enjoyable. I will come to this place again with my family next time. The breakfast is OK, but the portion is a little too small and I didn’t eat enough. The swimming pool is really great. There is no smell of disinfectant water. Judging from the staff using it for irrigation, the water should be relatively clean. Nice swimming pool 👍
The room is very cool, and the e-sports is great. I came to Turpan with my friends and stayed in a very cost-effective hotel. Four people live in 85 square meters, there are 3 bathrooms, and there are computers for playing. Fried chicken is nice!
In addition, I would like to commend the three front desk guys: Waili, Ai Zihaier, and Mai Erdan. Their service is particularly good, and they are also handsome and stylish. I feel the enthusiasm of the people of Xinjiang!
I came to Xinjiang and chose Haichang Hotel in Turpan, because I looked at the location and listened to it. Next to the national road, in the middle of the two large scenic spots, there is a large parking lot at the door. The lobby gives people a particularly comfortable feeling. The decoration style is particularly good. The business standard room room is also comfortable. Dinner was eaten in the restaurant on the 6th floor. The restaurant was quite big, the environment was super good, especially comfortable, the service attitude of the restaurant waiter was good, especially polite, very respectful of us, especially the restaurant manager Aju Guli was particularly warmly received, we ate in the box, Aqi Guli also brought the waiter in to sing to us. We were very happy. On the second morning, the manager personally sent us a nutritious breakfast. It was really touching. The breakfast was very intimate. Xinjiang specialty dried fruits, decimal ethnic pastries, fruits, especially rich. We are grateful to the young and beautiful A A Guli. To be honest, we really enjoyed the 5-star service in Haichang. We can give a 5-star praise. In the future, I will have to live in Haichang. I hope that Haichang's business will get better and better, so that the boss can make money.

The B&B is located in Putao Town. It has a large yard and is a typical Uighur building. It is very beautiful. Flowers are blooming in the yard. Next to the house is a vineyard. Grapes are also grown in the yard. You can pick them if you want. The boss and staff are all Uighurs. , the proprietress has a daughter who is in primary school. She is a very beautiful and lovely Uighur girl. She is fluent in Mandarin and loves to sing. The room is super spacious, luxuriously decorated, air-conditioned, clean and tidy, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The B&B has its own rooftop restaurant. The guy at the front desk is very nice. I lost my room card and didn’t say anything. I just smiled. Very pleasant stay experience. It would be better if the service could be improved. For example, the front desk is in the courtyard, there is no sign, and there is no one to greet guests when they arrive, but maybe this is what a B&B is. If you don't care about this, it will be perfect and great.
The homestay is located in the Karez scenic area, and it is very convenient to visit the scenic spots. I chose this homestay because it has a swimming pool. The weather in Turpan is too hot and sunny, and I just want to soak in the swimming pool during the day, so I chose this one. I was very surprised when I arrived. The hotel architecture, layout, and room design are very unique. Watching the sunset on the city wall at night, taking pictures is also very good. In addition, the service, every staff member is very enthusiastic, careful and patient. They can help recommend restaurants and order takeout on behalf of you. They also help clean up after eating. It's really considerate. I will stay at his house next time.
Easily one of the top two or three guesthouse experiences I’ve had traveling China over the past decade. While it’s certainly on the higher end of the price spectrum, you definitely get what you pay for and more. The level of detail is immaculate: given how hot and dry Turpan is, they give you as much bottled water you need & leave hydrating facial masks in your room every day. Also, shoutout to the beds—one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in China—and Japanese toilet. The facilitates and service touches are on par with the best luxury hotel brands which probably go for twice the price or more.
But ultimately the people and location are what make this place special. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ran into the owner at a restaurant and he bought me dinner and introduced me to some local dishes I would have never known to order. The location is 🍇 valley. It’s a quaint little grape producing village with friendly locals and amazing fruit.
All in all, Bafeng Retreat is a special place that is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and take life slowly. Highly recommended.
The little brother is very good, very handsome, very enthusiastic, when I went out, he called the car for me and sent me back by the way 🤩🤩🤩 Auntie is also very powerful, enthusiastically asked me if I slept conveniently and comfortable, and when I left, I had to call a car for me. The others changed to my view of the Uighur nation. I mean when I first arrived, I saw a lot of beautiful women wearing red clothes. When I asked, I knew that someone was holding a wedding. It was definitely worth your visit. This homestay is definitely worth your expectations. Such a big watermelon is only 5 yuan 😅😅✖️😅.
A very friendly hotel with convenient services and facilities. The humidifier in the room and the bedside lamp are also very convenient and practical. The hotel will put some consumables such as water, tea, paper towels, disposable slippers, etc. at the exit of the elevator on the floor for guests to use. Parking is also very convenient and the instructions are very clear. When checking out, you will also get free water for drinking on the way. A good choice on the road.
As at August 2022, there is daily mucelic acid testing in the park next to the hotel, from 08:20-11:00. Using the Xinjiang health code, I was able to get tested there (as a foreigner) and the results showed up on the app. So, I didn't need to go into a hospital. The hotel is also a short walk away from the museum and a main street with a lot of restaurants that seemed to be popular. Taxis regularly passed in front of the hotel (Didi took a while, in my experience).
My room was wide and bright, including the toilet and shower. In fact, the entire hotel feels wide - the lobby, breakfast room, the carpark.
The staff were all helpful, even with my poor Chinese and their limited English.
The breakfast selection was fair, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food.
Located on a commercial street, it is convenient to the Karez and the museum. There are many affordable restaurants nearby. The downside is that the sound insulation is too poor, and the service is not good. It's just a check-in. The room is large and empty, with no facilities. It is recommended to replace the sofa, which is too dirty and unsuitable. Ctrip has four diamonds and doesn't even have disposable slippers. The toiletries are also not up to standard, very low quality.

Excellent
AAI CHEN CHUAOne of the most modern hotel in turpan. Receptionist is very helpful. There are shops and eateries around the hotel. Room is spacious and conformable. Breakfast has good spread.
AAnonymous UserWhen it comes to traveling in Turpan, which hotel should I stay in? I must recommend the Ibis Hotel at the entrance of Turpan North Station. There are shuttle buses to the city and attractions at the entrance, which is very convenient. The service of the staff is very professional and the attitude is very enthusiastic. In particular, their breakfast is very rich. Anyway, I think it is convenient and worth the money.
KKojiAbsolutely loved JJ Coffeetel in Turpan. First and foremost, a huge kudos to the front staffers, especially Mustafa! He not only responded to our unusual requests but kindly showed us around the neighborhood. Along with other staffers, he also helped us get some items we’d been looking for from a local merchant. Our room had a nice view and the breakfast was a critical energy booster every morning. I guess there’d be a limit to this service depending on the season but they also helped us coordinate our one-day tour to Huoyanshan and the two old citadels. Thank you again for giving us such an unforgettable experience. We will be back!
DDootripiansThis place has the soul of Uyghur people. The round bread you can have next to the hostel is incredibly delicious. The whole road is where the Uyghur people lives. The city center has very different vibes. We had a good time taking a tour of Turpan with the driver the hostel organized.
The weather got too cold in the desert area so we could not stay longer here. I hope to come back here in my life. Just one thing, some trains coming to Turpan is very early in the morning. It would be nice if the reception could open earlier in certain days.
Ffy001It is a very good hotel with high cost performance. The room is also very clean without any odor. When I encountered a problem, the front desk solved it for me immediately. It is also on duty 24 hours a day. The front desk lady is also very attentive. The room is fully equipped. I personally think it is very good~
GGuest UserThe hotel experience is very good, the front desk staff is very warm, the check-in is fast, because the baby is brought, the front desk staff is thoughtful to upgrade the room, the family lives on the same floor, the newly opened hotel facilities are very good, the bedding is very new and comfortable, and the sanitary conditions are very good. The artificial lake was seen outside the hotel window. The scenery was great. You can go down to row a boat at night. Not far from the hotel is the Turpan Museum. There are delicious meals around. You can take a carriage at night. The hotel breakfast is also very rich. The freshly cooked noodles and wontons taste good. I will live here in Turpan in the future!
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, easy to find on the main road, with a parking lot, convenient parking. The room is spacious and has new facilities. The room is clean and sanitary. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the sink meets hotel standards. The bedding is also very good, and the sleep is very comfortable. The hotel has a washing machine for washing clothes, and the cost performance is very high. I stayed there for a few days while playing in Turpan. The Xinjiang girl at the hotel front desk was warm and polite, and the check-in experience was very good!
XXiaoyaoyoudaxianThe location is good, very close to the Turpan Museum, just over 20 minutes' walk away. At night, there is a small carriage at the night market on the street behind, which is very fun.
The hotel service attitude is good, the room is clean, comfortable and quiet.
It's also very convenient to eat around. The only drawback is that the breakfast is a bit simple. A little improvement would be perfect.
Can't fault anything else. Still recommended! Because it’s so convenient to eat around!
22morrowsworldThis 4 star hotel has a goid rating on Trip.com and I can understand why. However, I liken this hotel to a 20 year old luxury car such as an E36 7 series BMW or Lexus LS 430. Exceptional and glorious when new, but getting old and tired fast.
On a superficial level the rooms look grand and sumptuous, but on greater scrutiny there are issues. One if these are the carpets, which are either in dire need of steam cleaning on a forensic level of thoroughness, or outright replacement. Some sections are worn and faded, while many odd bits and pieces can be found (and felt with bare feet), that seem to have escaped the attention of the room staff, e.g toothpicks, other miscellaneous refuse deposited by previous guests.
I booked a continental double room, for $68 AUD per night and there was a misalignment of the door with its frame. Large enough to see through to the outside! The room contained a sofa Comfortable enough but with fabric badly worn away. The white veneer paint on tables has seen better days.
Having said all this, overall, the hotel offers rooms of a relatively high standard. Ornate furnishings, large, extremely comfortable beds and pillows, a huge bathroom with sufficient water pressure and responsive hot water on demand (bathroom has a smart lighting arrangement which switches on via a sensor).
There are a dozen individual controls for room lighting. Lots of cupboards and drawers and powerpoints where needed. There is a gym but for some undisclosed reason is currently closed, of February 2024. Is a buffet style restaurant with several guests dining in it which looked very well staffed. Reception will go out of their way to give assistance with arranging tours, ordering taxis etc, and try to ensure guests are satisfied. In summary, the hotel looks good and to some extent is good, but may not be worth paying $50 US a night to stay in and was a little disappointing.
GGuest UserThe hotel is cost-effective and affordable. The hotel has a large parking space, the air conditioner is new and cool, the room is large, the environment is good, and it is not noisy when sleeping at night. I stayed for one night and the hotel experience is still good.
