"Owner of apartment was friendly and honest. Check in via WeChat as door pin will be given. Room service done daily with topping up of bottled water, toilet/tissue paper and clearing of bins. Room was clean, slippers provided too. Owner will send items bought online to the room, which is a plus! Apartment also has washing machine and microwave oven and a full-sized fridge. No cutlery and utensils though but we ate out most of the time. Location-wise, very convenient to take bus and metro (can walk to 小白楼 line 1 or 徐州道 line 4) and its next to 天津国贸购物中心 by Capitaland. Walking distance to 五大道 tourist spot too. Will recommend this place for budget travellers."

"The Pan Pacific Hotel in Tianjin boasts an excellent location with convenient transportation, standing tall as a landmark visible from afar. It's very close to the Tianjin Eye, and our room offered a spectacular, expansive view of it.
Upon entering the lobby, Serena Qiu greeted us with a warm smile and enthusiastic service, guiding us to the front desk. There, the charming Hanah Zhao attentively listened to our preferences and professionally helped us select a room. The room itself was unexpectedly satisfying, exceeding all our expectations.
Lululiu then graciously assisted us with our luggage and escorted us to our room. This 'super five-star' service made us feel incredibly welcomed and warm, instantly melting away the day's fatigue.
In a highly competitive hotel industry, the staff's ability to maintain such genuine enthusiasm for serving guests is truly commendable. It clearly reflects a strong, service-oriented culture championed by the leadership, ensuring such thoughtful and professional service.
Even during check-out, when the concierge was busy, the Front Office Manager personally stepped in to assist us with our luggage.
Encountering such warm and welcoming service from the very first day of our trip was a true delight. We are deeply grateful to all the hotel staff for their hard work, which contributed to making our journey so pleasant and memorable.

"While reviews are helpful, sometimes you really need to see things for yourself. The photos online didn't particularly impress me, but the actual room was much better than what the pictures conveyed, which was a pleasant surprise. It was quite spacious, and we didn't even need to turn on the air conditioning to sleep during the hottest part of summer (it helped that it rained a bit). It's conveniently located close to both the subway and shopping malls. Breakfast could be improved; it doesn't quite measure up to what you'd find at a 5-star hotel in Nanjing. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I was genuinely pleased."

"Although I checked in again more than half a year later, Zora at the front desk recognized me immediately and thoughtfully helped me and my daughter arrange adjacent rooms. The bellman was polite and professional. Breakfast is served at the Renaissance Hotel next door, with a wide variety of Chinese and Western options. My daughter used the gym and the butler service was prompt and considerate. The quality of Marriott cannot be said enough!"

Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean, not a speck of dust anywhere, and even had a subtle, pleasant fragrance.
Environment: The location is superb, making it extremely convenient for visiting Wudadao or Binjiangdao – perfect for a city walk. From the room, you can enjoy views of Tianjin Station and the city's light show.
Service: Check-in was quick and efficient. All the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional.
I initially only booked for one night, but because the experience was so good, and I happened to have some free time the next day, I decided to extend my stay for another night. This is a highly satisfying hotel! I highly recommend it!"

"The location is great, just a stone's throw from Xikai Church, with several shopping malls nearby. It's really convenient for dining and getting around. I appreciated being able to extend check-out until 2 PM; otherwise, with the typhoon causing massive flight delays, being stuck at the airport would have been quite painful.
Now for the downsides. The hotel is advertised as a 6-star hotel by some organization and meets domestic 5-star standards in terms of room decor, but there are many flaws in the details.
1. The toilet space in the suite is only big enough for a single suitcase, yet the walk-in closet is disproportionately large in comparison.
2. For a 5-star hotel, there's not even a set-top box. They use an analog cable TV system with incredibly poor picture quality, let alone premium channels like HBO.
3. The front desk staff lacked smiles throughout the check-in process. We had three people staying and an extra bed was added, but they didn't even think to provide an extra set of slippers, toothbrushes, or towels.
4. I used my Ctrip membership to redeem a complimentary mini-bar feature, but I wasn't informed about it upon check-in. I had to repeatedly confirm myself to find out it was actually free.
Overall, the service still feels like most state-owned hotels from 10 years ago. In today's highly competitive market, this is clearly not enough."

"A great overall choice if you're visiting Tianjin to explore the Hai River and catch the light show, offering excellent value for money!
**Facilities:** The hotel's amenities are generally decent, although the shower head in the bathroom was quite stiff and difficult to adjust.
**Cleanliness:** I found black pen marks on the bedsheets. I called housekeeping to get them replaced, and the attendant who helped me was very friendly and enthusiastic.

"Despite the long cleaning time, the room still reeked of smoke. It's truly unreasonable that two elderly guests, both over 70, had to wait for over an hour for the room to be cleaned, only for it to still be unsatisfactory.
Perhaps I had too high expectations from other reviews, which led to significant disappointment. The location is indeed excellent, but the breakfast was very mediocre. The facilities, even for a new hotel, are quite ordinary. The bathroom completely lacked any anti-slip treatment or even a non-slip mat; there was only a warning sign. Are guests expected to prevent falls by sheer willpower?"

Out of all the places I've stayed, this homestay in Tianjin stands out as one of the best. I am confident that I will return here in the future whenever I need a peaceful retreat.

AAnonymous UserI was on a business trip. It's close to the company, very convenient. There is breakfast and airport pick-up and drop-off service. The TV only has live broadcast and can't cast the screen. In winter, the floor heating is too hot and I have to turn on the air conditioner. It's pretty good.

GGuest UserI booked 3 rooms in Jun, 2023. The hotel is only 4 months old. The only thing I want to complain about is that I can't find anything to complain about!
The subway station is just in front of the hotel. Shops, restaurants, and malls are surrounding this beautiful hotel.
The GM told me it was a 4 star hotel but to me it is nothing less than a 5 star accommodation.
Highly recommended! Good price, great value!

GGuest UserI've made it a habit to choose the Park Inn by Radisson Airport whenever I have an overnight layover. Not only do they provide airport shuttle service, but the rooms are spacious, the facilities are new, the surroundings are quiet, and the front desk staff are warm and polite. A special thank you to the driver who dropped me off today; he proactively helped me with my luggage and didn't leave until it was safely loaded onto the luggage cart. The Park Inn by Radisson Tianjin Airport branch boasts convenient transportation. A bus stop is just across the street from the hotel entrance, offering direct routes to the subway, making travel easy. Ordering takeout is also a breeze. Next time I have a layover in Tianjin, I will definitely stay here again!

The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft. I had a great sleep! The front desk lady was so welcoming and even upgraded my room. WWei JiaThe hotel refused to turn on their central AC unit in late April so the room AC is on fan mode only. Our room was 26c showing the manager did send up a tech guy and tested the room temp was 26 as showing on the display and the air wa very stuffy.
They said it’s cold at night so building is not turning on the AC but the windows does not open !!!The manager did offer free breakfast and delivered a fan to my room. lucky we were only there for 2 nights in the stuffy room but I will not be staying again.

MM58757****I stayed here for one night while driving during the Chinese New Year. The hotel facilities are pretty good, clean and smell-free, and the bed in the standard room is also very big, with a bed of 1.35 meters. The transportation is convenient, just off the highway.
