On the first day, we needed an extra bed, and the housekeeping manager went above and beyond, checking various room sizes to find the best arrangement. We stayed for four nights. One day, I washed clothes and left them hanging in the bathroom to drip dry. When we returned, the housekeeper had thoughtfully left a note and moved them out to dry properly – such attention to detail! Later in our stay, we were driving a local friend's car and returned very late one night. The parking attendant, even past 1 AM, patiently helped open the garage door without any sign of impatience. "We stayed at the hotel for one night, while going from Pingyao to Zhangjiajie. We arrived at the train station in the evening, and had to take the train the following morning. The hotel offers pickup and drop-off which was very convenient and comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, with snacks, tea and all the furnitures we could need. The staff was SO helpful: they ordered some food for us (everything on the app was in mandarin and we couldn't understand how to do it ourselves), recommended some local favorites, and delivered it to our room. They also helped us do laundry even though it was late in the evening, so we had clean clothes to continue our trip. All in all, our stay was excellent, and I couldn't recommend the hotel more."
