My stay at the Shantou Masuland B&B was beyond expectation and I have to give it a thumbs up! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I felt a sense of genuine hospitality. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was incredibly quick. They also provided detailed information about the hotel's facilities and nearby amenities, making me feel instantly at home. Our room was even more pleasantly surprised. It was spacious and bright, warmly and elegantly decorated, and spotlessly clean, even down to the corners. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were the perfect height, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The room was also well-equipped, with excellent air conditioning, excellent heating and cooling, and reliable hot water. The toiletries were fresh and fragrant, and every detail was meticulously thought out. The hotel's restaurant is also worth a mention. The breakfast menu is diverse, featuring both Chinese and Western dishes. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, catering to every taste. The dining environment is also clean and comfortable, and the waiters promptly cleared the table, providing attentive service. The hotel's location is also excellent, conveniently located near subway and bus stops. Numerous shopping malls and restaurants are also nearby, offering everything from entertainment and dining options. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The service, cleanliness, and facilities were impeccable. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the city, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip!

Five-star praise for the staff! They were really thoughtful and polite! The hotel environment is excellent, with a European-style decor. If we didn't want to get up for breakfast, they'd even bring it to our room. Basically, they fulfilled every request, and the butler's response time was super fast! There's also a free sachet-making experience where you choose your scents and grind them yourself, which the kids loved! The only slight drawback is that the room is a bit small, but the layout is good and the decor is very new. If possible, it would be great if they could install a rack for clothes in the shower area, as there's no place to put clothes while changing, and having to ask family members to hold them was a bit inconvenient. Everything else was great! We even had some of the hotel's coffee when we left – delicious!

Stumbled upon this guesthouse online and decided to check it out before the May Day holiday rush. I was initially worried it might be a 'seller's show' (looks better in pictures than in real life), but it turned out to be 100% accurate to what was posted! Overall, a great experience. **Environment:** The guesthouse is set up like an estate, offering good privacy, so you're not disturbed by non-hotel guests or road noise. **Facilities:** The infinity pool in the room seems to circulate filtered seawater, which was very clean. It's perfect for taking photos at night when the lights are on, but it does shut off at 12 AM. There's also an outdoor pool on the first floor facing the sea. The minibar and fridge drinks in the room are complimentary, and all the amenities are of good quality. **Service:** The hotel staff were incredibly attentive. Right after booking, I immediately received a call from the owner. After adding them on WeChat, they confirmed my arrival time and whether I wanted the pool pre-filled, etc. Throughout my stay, I felt that all the staff had a great attitude. This is also a pet-friendly establishment. If you bring a pet, they provide a pet amenities kit with pee pads, diapers, disposable bowls, chew toys like Boryeongdan, and more. I brought my own dog bed, and they mentioned they also offer small beds. However, there's an additional cleaning fee for pets, which I didn't see on the booking page and only found out about upon arrival.

This was my first time visiting, accompanying my boyfriend to Shantou for a visa appointment. I saw recommendations on XiaoHongShu for this hotel, saying its location is perfect for couples. The sea views nearby and the evening sea breeze are so romantic. Before checking in, I was a little nervous, but I was so pleasantly surprised! The entire hotel was so clean and tidy. The front desk lady had such a lovely voice. When we went out the next day, it was already evening, and I absolutely loved the hotel lobby in the evening. There's also a Chinese restaurant on the third floor with a view of the pool. It was a shame I couldn't go for a swim, so I just took a picture of my back as a souvenir. There's even a jewelry store on the first floor of the hotel! For first-time visitors to Shantou, you can ask the jewelry store assistant for tourist route guidance. Heaven knows we hadn't prepared anything, so this was a delightful surprise. It just goes to show that local recommendations are always reliable. Highly recommended!

Not bad at all, the sea view is fantastic. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Service: The concierge service was excellent. Facilities: The only downside was that the pool was closed, so I didn't get to experience it. Ambiance: Elegant, and the perfume/fragrance smelled really nice. Overall, it was very good, and the bedding was comfortable.

The hotel's location is very convenient, and the service is professional and patient, especially from front desk staff Roshan and Jzhyo. They provided excellent service and even gave us a free upgrade. Before we left, we needed help mailing something, and they were very responsible and followed up promptly. The food delivery robot is also safe and user-friendly. It truly lives up to its reputation as the best hotel in the area!

This was by far the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my days in Nan'ao! They offer free parking and complimentary EV charging. The butler contacts you in advance with directions. The common areas are spacious, with a free gym and a pool table available. The breakfast is also very local and special – a bowl of noodle soup accompanied by a exquisite nine-grid platter. It's filling and makes for great photos. The room was clean and hygienic, the bedding was very comfortable, and the pillows were soft, leading to a super comfortable sleep. The front desk staff (guys and girls) were very friendly and responsive to all requests. I took a peek at the sea-view duplex room and really liked it. I'll choose that room type next time when I bring my kids. I was lucky enough to catch a stunning sunset with the good weather! I'll definitely choose Yuhai Resort Hotel again next time I visit Nan'ao! 👍👍👍

The two ladies at the front desk were exceptionally helpful, and they even offered sweet soup in the evening. The hygiene was also very good, and the soundproofing was relatively decent – at least I could sleep in without being disturbed by the neighbors. My only minor complaint is that the cleaning staff would sometimes chat loudly in the hallway. On our last day, the housekeeper only made my friend's bed, leaving mine unmade. It looked like they started cleaning but had to leave in a hurry for some emergency. Otherwise, everything else was quite good.

This is hands down the best B&B I've ever stayed in. No contest. I arrived on a weekday, so there weren't many tourists. The owner even treated me to a meal! We chatted for two hours, and I learned that this is their family's 300-year-old ancestral home. The villagers entrusted him and his team to manage it. It used to have 99 rooms, now converted into just over 20 guest rooms. The level of exquisite renovation surpasses most five-star hotels, and the enclosed design of the entire building gives you a wonderful sense of security. My room with an outdoor private hot spring was very spacious and perfectly equipped. I could leisurely enjoy tea or work without any disturbance; it was incredibly quiet. The hotel isn't just part of a building, the entire structure *is* the hotel. The owner mentioned that when they opened earlier this year, they collected over 100,000 RMB in entrance fees from tourists in just three days. Later, they stopped to avoid disturbing guests. It's very close to the filming location of 'A Love Letter to Grandma' and there are many fantastic seafood stir-fry restaurants nearby. The only 'downside' is that it's a bit far from Chaozhou city center, so you need a car to get around. Of course, that could also be seen as an advantage!
