EEhuocikehaifubingOverall, it was decent. After all, Chaoshan has become a popular travel destination in the past two years. Hanting hotels are always a safe bet, and this trip to Shantou was for relaxation and good food. The hotel is located north of the Huanghe Road elevated highway, but the soundproofing of the windows is quite good; at least, I slept well. The only downside during our stay was that my wife and I both got several bites, which we couldn't identify. They weren't itchy, but there were several small red spots. Additionally, the towels replaced on the second day had stains.

VVey and JeyI stumbled upon LABEL Lebai Hotel on Hengshan Road for my trip to Shantou, and it turned out to be an absolute hidden gem! The moment I walked in, I was blown away by the interior design. It has such a unique and trendy vibe—totally different from those stuffy, traditional hotels. Every corner is super photogenic; you can really tell they have great taste. I have to give a massive shout-out to the service here—it is genuinely so warm and welcoming! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly. When checking in, because one of our rooms needed twin beds, they kindly upgraded us from a King room to a Twin room for free, which was a huge help. What touched me the most was a little mishap in the middle of our stay. I was being a bit scatterbrained and couldn't find my glasses anywhere. I was getting really anxious, so I messaged them, and they were so patient and helpful, even offering to check the CCTV footage to look for them. They actually found them, which was an enormous relief! To top it all off, they even gave us a lovely souvenir gift upon check-out. Such amazing attention to detail! The whole experience was fantastic—stylish, comfortable, and full of genuine hospitality. I will definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shantou!

XXiaokanyuzhouOur stay at the Sheraton Shantou Longguang was incredibly comfortable. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a family room, and my child was overjoyed the moment we walked in. The room was decorated so warmly, and the attention to detail was impressive. What was even more delightful was the thoughtful complimentary platter of preserved fruits and a welcome cake. The fruits were a perfect balance of sweet and sour, really appetizing, and the cake was sweet but not cloying – my child couldn't stop eating it. From the room upgrade to these lovely little gifts, you can truly feel the hotel's dedication. We'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Shantou.

TTravellingWallyNo regrets paying more for this beautiful homestay! 花多点钱住这里一点遗憾也没有！ My parents, sibling and I stayed for a total of 3 nights in their 4 pax room. It’s a beautiful and tastefully decorated accommodation with personal courtyard and interior. Bed and duvet were so comfortable especially in the chilly weather of 18 ~ 22 degrees. I didn’t spot anything obvious I can complain about regarding the cleanliness of this place, hence 5/5 for cleanliness. Location is perfect (5/5). Next to streets of food places that have good ratings, and super near 万象城 shopping mall (restaurants, luxury shops, retail and more). Anyways cabbing around Shantou is really convenient, fast, and affordable. Even though it is nested amongst other tall residential area, once we close the door we couldn’t hear much noise from outside. Service is 5/5 as well. There’s free pickup and drop off serviced from the railway station. There’s daily fresh fruits delivered to us, as well as chicken soup. There’s also free laundry service which we really appreciate! Staffs were always ready to help and always ready to give recommendations. We really felt their hospitality and they are genuine in providing best service possible. Amenities is 5/5 as well. The hair dryer is Laifen brand which is so strong and sleek looking. They provide disposable towels on top of those reusable towels. Their slippers are fluffy and comfy. They have like everything we need. Bonus: Their residential cat and her kittens are adorable!!! All in all wonderful stay and would stay again if i ever visit Shantou again. Suggestions for improvement: (1) more variety in breakfast options (stayed for 3 nights and felt that some breakfast options would be great), and (2) the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner are a little too hard to pour out maybe can consider using press bottles.

XXingzoudeJeffWhile visiting Shantou, I stumbled upon this guesthouse near a small park. It had a charming, vintage feel reminiscent of the Republic of China era and was in a fantastic location. Without hesitation, I cancelled my previous reservation and booked a double room and a twin room to experience it. The stay included complimentary tickets to the opera stage and sweet soup. The staff were also very welcoming, and my family was very satisfied.

YYumiaotongxingOur experience at the DIOTEL Chaoshan Hotel in Shantou was absolutely fantastic! The front desk service was excellent, and our room was clean and tidy with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The nightly DIY 'Red Peach Kuih' activity was so much fun, my girlfriend was engaged the whole time. The Teochew opera performance on Saturday night offered an immersive experience of this intangible cultural heritage. The overall bamboo-themed design is elegant, and the spiral staircase is perfect for taking photos. I highly recommend the hotel's BBQ dinner; the ingredients were fresh, the flavors authentic, and it had a wonderful lively atmosphere. It's a one-stop shop for eating, staying, and entertainment – super convenient and definitely worth a second visit!

GGuest UserI wanted to visit Nanao Island, so I stayed in Shantou. The owner was incredibly warm and hospitable, even helping me back my car into a parking spot. They also upgraded my room! When I walked in, it felt so cozy, just like home. The towels and bedding were clean and hygienic. The shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable. The owner also recommended some delicious restaurants and hotpot places. All in all, I had a very enjoyable two-day stay. If I ever come back to Shantou, I'll definitely stay here again. Thank you!
