GGuest UserI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic!
The host was so helpful and attentive.
My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!)
Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too.

GGuest UserWe stayed here during the Jane Austen festival and had a wonderful time! The workers are super friendly and helpful, great to ask any questions about Bath. The place has an old-school style that is so very charming. There’s a bit of wear and tear, but it doesn’t feel dirty or run down at all, just adds to the classic charm of the place. We had the Executive Room with Garden View and it was just lovely! I felt like a princess. The lounge and gardens are also beautiful and fun to take a look at. Just a heads up, if you’re going into the city centre by foot, it’s best to walk down to the centre, bu take a bus up to the hotel. The walk is very uphill.
Definitely give this place a try!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the old city, within ten minutes walk to various attractions, the room is large and clean, not convenient enough is that there is no kettle in the room, you need to boil water or drink tea and coffee to get the hotel living room (free), and the other room 25 is downstairs in the hotel lounge, walking upstairs, Move the chair sound clear into the ear, more noisy!

OOrkhonBThe hotel lobby and breakfast were both very nice. However, we experienced some issues with our room. The double bed was quite small, and the room we were initially assigned did not match the photos shown when booking.
When we raised our concerns, the staff did their best to accommodate us, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the process took quite a long time and involved multiple room changes. The final room we were assigned was much better and met our expectations. Had we been given that room from the beginning, our overall experience would have been significantly more positive.
It seemed that some rooms have been renovated and are much newer, while others are older and less reflective of the images advertised online.

JJZ82Overall, the room and stay was great. We arrived early and stored luggages first and returned to hotel at 3 o'clock, however the room was not ready yet, and it didn't have a proper place for guest to sit and wait. It was a bit exhaust after a long walk of the day.

JJude SeddonSelf check in was a bit strange as we have not experienced that before in Bath however it worked extremely well and as the instructions were emailed it was simple.
The room was stunning and huge! We stayed in Room 1 which was on the lower ground floor.
The bathroom was lovely with a huge shower and the bath in the room was an unusual but nice surprise.
Breakfast is pretty ordered and was absolutely outstanding.
The staff were so pleasant and helpful- we will return!

GGuest UserOverall, our trip was just perfect. The hotel is in an excellent location with ample parking. At only £15 per 24 hours, we found this great value. The hotel is on a hill, but the buses run frequently directly outside the hotel. Our room was large and clean with everything you could need. The breakfast was fantastic and so much choice. It certainly set us up for the day. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

The only shirtcoming is we had to drive into the city for dinner as we wanted something different from what the hotel restaurant provided. Apart from the location, we were happy with our stay.

The location was also very convenient, close to local shops and attractions, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep.
Overall, this guesthouse offers comfort, warmth, and great hospitality. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay.

AAnonymous UserOur family room was located in the basement, and the bathroom door was right next to the head of the bed. When opened, the toilet faced the bed directly. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom, so after showering, the steam lingered for a long time. Since it was so close to the bed, we couldn't leave the door open to air it out; we had to keep it closed and let it get stuffy, which wasn't a pleasant experience. The front desk staff were quite indifferent; they didn't even respond when we said thank you.
