We enjoy our stay in Apex very much. We received a warm welcome from Tony at the front desk. He was being very friendly the whole time and even recommended us places to visit in Bath. The room was exactly how we expected. The swimming pool and spa facilities were spectacular. Tony suggested us to reserve the time slot that was least busy so that we could enjoy the best of them.

Sumptuous would be the word to describe this hotel. From the lobby to the room to the free snacks pantry, everything is sumptuous. The room we booked is absolutely huge with high ceilings and large windows. The bed and bedding is super super comfortable and we slept really well. The bathroom is nice with a big tub. Location is also excellent, minutes from downtown, the bridge and Roman baths. Looking forward to staying here again.

Situated in Bath's Royal Crescent, this magnificent hotel offers a fully equipped gym and a stunning spa, leading out onto a picturesque landscaped garden. It also offers an award-winning restaurant and a cocktail bar. The Bath House spa offers a relaxation pool, an additional relaxation pool with massage jets, a sauna with salt therapy treatments, and a steam room. Each bedroom at The Royal Crescent has an 18th-century-style décor and luxury bedding. There is free WiFi and paintings from period artists such as Gainsborough. Along with the Montagu's Mews restaurant, The Montagu's Mews Bar serves all-day dining options, cocktails, and champagne. The beautiful gardens are ideal for a traditional afternoon tea. The Bath House Spa is within an original coach house and stables. First occupied in 1775, the buildings are a 15-minute walk from the city-centre, Pump Room Baths, and the Theatre Royal. Bath Spa Rail Station is just 1.6 km away. We strongly recommend booking any dining in advance to avoid disappointment. Spa treatment also need to be booked in advance.

Its meant to be a luxury-ish short weekend getaways before my job starts as my partner can't take a long leave.
The delux double room is a huge disappointmemt.Understably, it is a very premium location and other guest probably pay a lot more. However, I wouldn't think of paying over £300 to get a room feeling like a old day servant's room. Being placed at the roof extension room with the view mostly blocked, the floor makes the typical old wooden cracking noise as we walk. The curtain, carpet and bathroom are not in the best condition. The glass on top of the table and desk are not well fitted.
Another thing is that, without any previous notice, the spa closed foe maintenance the morning we leave. The fake plants make it look less luxury than its branded.
The plus side, it is kind of inclusive which the spa pool, gym and breakfast are included. The breakfast is quite nice if you like English breakfast or they have some basic buffet.

The Roman baths. The Georgian splendour. The Regency era elegance- straight from the pages of a Jane Austen novel. All the history and culture of Bath is artfully brought together at The Gainsborough- a boutique hotel with modern vintage sensibilities. Make a grand entrance through the 18th century colonnades to be greeted by refined interiors- jewel tones and a sense of serenity. The soothing tone is set by the Spa Village- a unique space created around the natural thermal springs for which the city has been renowned - for centuries. Even the mosaic floor is an exact replica of the Roman tiles found here. Take a turn around the room with the Bath House Circuit- for an exclusive chance to dip into the waters- said to have healing properties. Go from infrared sauna to ice alcove- steam room to relaxation terrace. Then dive into a menu of aquatic spa therapies- with tatami rooms and a treatment space that includes its own thermal water tub. After all that relaxation- discover the other great pastime Bath is famous for- afternoon tea. The Gainsborough serves creative patisserie alongside loose leaf tea blends and champagne. Just be sure to leave room- and time- to enjoy the award-winning restaurant by Dan Moon. From Sunday lunch to indulgent tasting menus- the celebrated chef presents fine seasonal gastronomy with nods to his west country heritage- all served in a beautiful Georgian dining room. For aperitifs or nightcaps- mixologists in The Gainsborough Bar can mix you a Martini or introduce you to cocktail made from Bath Gin. It could be the perfect preprandial ahead of a sophisticated night on the town- after all- The Gainsborough puts you moments from galleries and theatres. But if your bed is beckoning- rooms answer the call with plush beds- period touches and plenty of creature comforts. The Gainsborough Bath Spa is a Small Luxury Hotels of the World property.

Small luxury hotel I feel relieved to see that it is SLH, but it is unusually understaffed. From check-in to dining in the restaurant, you have to wait, wait, wait. If you don’t understand English, please don’t come. Most of the employees look like college students who work part-time and cannot solve the problem alone. question.
The restaurant and bar are good, the room is very big, you need to take the stairs to the first floor, and the bathroom is half a floor up. The swimming pool is small and there are many people. There is a sauna, but it was useless because the temperature was 30 degrees on the day of arrival.
Charging the tram is also very funny. It took a long time to fully charge it.

The suite we booked was upgraded to a family suite. It's a very British country hotel. I didn't expect its restaurant to be awarded three stars by Rossete. No wonder the breakfast is better than the Savoy Hotel in London. We had dinner once and it was surprisingly good, and the bread was unique. The hotel's garden is also a natural English-style garden, with a little messy feel that took a lot of effort to create. In addition, the cookies delivered every day are so delicious that they become my thoughts every day.

余余The hotel is huge! It is located on a small hillside in the outskirts of Bath. The scenery is pleasant. At night, you can overlook the night view of Bath and see the stars. Convenient transportation, the hotel is on the main road to the center of Bath, and the highway from the city is also very close. There is a lot of free parking for self-driving. There are a number of bus lines directly to the city centre of Bath next to the hotel. It is convenient to have buses from morning to night. The hotel is large, with many rooms, clean and comfortable, and soundproof. The rooms are modern and fully equipped, and the mattress pillows are comfortable. The hot and cold water pressure in the bathroom is very stable, and there are many tea and coffee options in the mini bar in the room. The closet has a sense of opening and closing the door, so I thought very carefully. The wireless network is stable and there are many choices for TV stations. Breakfast selection. The service staff was very kind and caring. I will choose to stay at this hotel in the future.
KKB100One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Located close to the train station and close to the historical center of Bath. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms are comfortable and include free mini bar items. It is a charming hotel and I wi stay again.

GGuest UserCentral location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

DDongyinglvrenThe room is very spacious, the breakfast is very rich, with Scottish characteristics slowly, the hotel is not big, it is an accommodation facility for a golf course. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic ❤️ It is worth staying, playing, and tasting.
JJUNCANAdvantages: Leaving the lively city center, just living on the first floor, the beautiful garden outside the window, has a really relaxing time. The room is large and the facilities are old but complete with a vintage feel. The breakfast bagel is a big highlight, and the standard breakfast is comparable to other UK hotels, which is amazingly delicious. The service staff is also very warm and friendly, but also very humorous, all kinds of jokes with me. Disadvantages: My so-called big bed is made up of two single beds, one can't sleep in the middle.
SSPW13We got a family room, the fold out bed was not made and the quilt was dirty/stained. The staff changed the room for us and this time is was Ok. Cutlery at breakfast had to be wiped down before use. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was close to the Centre
GGuest UserWe stayed in a triple room and were delighted with the comfort and cleanliness. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - 2 of us had the full English and 1 had avocado, smoked salmon and poached egg on toast. There was also a selection of fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices, pastries, coffee and tea. All delicious. The location is superb, being very central.
