蔡蔡梦萍I am filling this review out as the person who booked and paid for the room on behalf of my guest / driver, who stayed here for eight days. The room was conveniently located on the ground floor, and despite being adjacent to the main lobby, it was reasonably quiet. A set menu breakfast with nine small dishes was provided every morning in the restaurant, and was very healthy and beautifully presented. Cleaning was done every morning by aunties who knocked around 10a.m. to check if cleaning was requested. Parking onsite for free and EV charging was also available very conveniently next to the hotel. Although the hotel room was non-smoking, the driver smoked both inside the room and in the public lobby, but was not ticked off or asked to smoke outside (!). Staff were very courteous and friendly, always helping with any issue and happy to answer any questions. On departing, both the driver and myself received local biscuits as a gift. Really wonderful place to stay with an extremely well trained, polite family of hospitality experts.

SsmilysunsunTachuan's autumn was made even more beautiful by this guesthouse. I searched on Ctrip for a long time, worried about hygiene issues, but this guesthouse really paid attention to details and was very clean. The moment I opened the door, the automatic welcoming ceremony from 'Xiao Ai' (smart speaker) was very touching. It's right at the entrance of Hongcun and the price is excellent value for money. The proprietress is very kind, and the young man who checked me in, Manager Xiao Wang, was extremely helpful with excellent service. From picking me up at the station to helping me find a car for my travels, he saved me the anxiety and exhaustion of not having a car in Hongcun. The prices were also reasonable. Anyone worried about drivers getting upset in Hongcun can completely entrust their needs to him. At the village entrance, he even used a small electric cart to help with my luggage. There are Hello e-bikes nearby, so you can go to Lucun early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Thank you for providing such a 'utopia' after my busy work. The hygiene was indeed top-notch!

AAguai22This homestay perfectly fits my pastoral homestay. It is located in a quiet village. The overall environment is abnormally quiet. The village after the year is particularly lonely. The pedestrian is sparse. The sleep experience is impeccable. The whole homestay is equipped with tea culture as the core design. There is an exclusive tea room open to all passengers staying in the hotel. Enjoy the elegant time. The environment is clean and meticulous. The cooking sister of the homestay likes the craftsmanship. The dishes cooked are authentic and delicious. It is a typical farmhouse flavor and the morning meals are also full of nutrients.
What I am most satisfied with is the 24-hour uninterrupted hot water supply. I can enjoy a warm and comfortable bathing experience whenever I come back. The oversized bubble pool in the room is simply a gospel for bathing lovers. Soak in it to relax.
What impressed me more was the intimate butler service. From the moment I checked in, I felt the warmth and care of home. After the meal, the manager personally raised the stove. Our group sat around the stove and enjoyed the warmth of winter. Drinking tea and chatting. The atmosphere was extremely harmonious.
Not only that, the host of the homestay, Sister Cheng, also carefully prepared a variety of fruits and snacks. They are arranged neatly. Everything is mouth-watering. This arrangement is really clear and makes people grateful. It’s really good to come next time~

The moment you step inside, the hustle and bustle of the world is instantly shut out, replaced by a sense of relaxed seclusion.
Here, there is no excessive commercial noise, far from the crowds of the main Hongcun scenic area, offering a serene and pure escape. It is precisely this rare tranquility that attracts painters who come to sketch and paint; every mountain, every field, every courtyard, every tree is a scene of beauty, creating a serene and beautiful atmosphere.
The academy's ecology is serene and healing. Gentle cats and rabbits roam freely, surrounded by lush vegetation and a peaceful atmosphere. The vibrant natural air envelops you, gently soothing all the fatigue of your journey.
The academy's scenic café boasts a stunning view, with rolling fields and mountains visible from the windows. Finding a quiet corner to sit and daydream, the gentle breeze and calming clouds allow your mind to settle, completely emptying your senses – a truly liberating and healing experience.
The staff are gentle, friendly, and attentive, always attentive to guests' needs. Even though the place was busy that day, they kindly extended my check-out time to 3 PM. This consideration and thoughtfulness is a rare warmth and kindness on a journey.
Overall, the stay was very pleasant, with only one small suggestion: The guesthouse is adjacent to the countryside and mountains, with a rich natural ecosystem, so there are bound to be some mosquitoes in the rooms. Those accustomed to city life might find it a little unusual at first.
I hope the owner can be more meticulous in mosquito prevention, providing electric mosquito repellents in advance. Improving these details would make the overall stay even more thoughtful and perfect.

GGuest UserIt was a very nice guesthouse experience. Since I wasn't sure about the room types, I didn't book the main courtyard. Although the second courtyard was also nice, the main courtyard's Hui-style architecture had more charm, and the owner's attention to detail was evident in every design element. I'd love to experience the main courtyard next time. The guesthouse's homemade osmanthus black tea was delicious, and chatting and drinking tea in the courtyard in the evening was especially pleasant.

Zhang Mansion is much more than just a hotel: it is an authentic experience inside an ancient traditional mansion, perfectly immersed in the historic atmosphere of Hongcun. It almost feels like being transported back in time, into the quiet and refined beauty of China from several centuries ago.
The interiors are full of charm, history, and character, and staying here allows you to experience the village in a much deeper way than a simple day visit. The atmosphere is calm, evocative, and almost cinematic.
A very sweet detail: the property’s cat and dog are genuinely lovely and add an even warmer, more memorable touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic, romantic, and timeless stay.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean, and the toiletries were good. The air conditioning was incredibly powerful; even with temperatures at 38-39 degrees Celsius, it could make you shiver! The host picked us up from the parking lot when we arrived and also dropped us off when we left, showing great hospitality. Although it's on the very edge of the village, it's only a few minutes' walk from the center of Yuezao, which is very convenient.

OofmidniteThis trip to southern Anhui for four seniors around 70 years old was arranged, and choosing this hotel for our Hongcun stop was absolutely the wisest decision. Not only does it offer stunning views of the entire mountain village, but it's also incredibly close to Tachuan, the bamboo forest, and Hongcun itself—truly a perfect place for seniors to relax and enjoy a slower pace of life. When we left, the owner even kindly arranged for a driver to take us to the station in a luxury car for the same price as Didi (a ride-hailing app), making us all very happy.
