Guest UserOverall, I had a very good stay and think this hotel deserves a higher rating, especially compared with some higher-star hotels I stayed at in Taiwan. The room was very clean and housekeeping was thorough. I also really appreciated the free coffee (black coffee) and water dispenser. The shared kitchen and dining area are very useful, as you do not have to eat inside your room. Having the garbage disposal downstairs is also great, especially as you do not have to keep food waste in the room.
The air conditioning was strong, the fridge worked well, and there was also a large shared fridge/freezer and dishes available on the ground floor. The washing machine was excellent: 40 TWD for a roughly 50-minute wash and 10 TWD for detergent. Unlike many other hotels, it also had warm-water programs, and my clothes actually smelled fresh afterwards.
The receptionist was very helpful, and being able to contact reception through LINE while outside the hotel was extremely convenient. They responded quickly and were always helpful. The elevator and stairs were also good. I especially appreciated that there is a guest toilet available even after check-out. Also, a hairdryer and slippers were also provided, which was convenient.
A few negatives: the walls are very thin, the bed was too short for me (1.73m), hand soap was missing, and I found it unusual that toilet paper cannot be flushed. Check-in only starts at 4 p.m., which is quite late. One additional thing to note for taller guests: the bathroom ceiling is quite low. The biggest issue was noise from other guests. There was a lot of loud noise after 11 p.m. and late into the night. It would be very helpful if the hotel introduced clear quiet-hour rules and reminded guests at check-in to keep noise down after around 10 p.m. Regardless of where people come from, being considerate of other hotel guests should be basic courtesy, especially late at night. Apart from the noise, this was a very good hotel with excellent facilities (see pictures) and helpful staff.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The entire environment is incredibly spacious and bright, and it's kept spotless, making for an exceptionally comfortable and reassuring stay. Every single staff member was friendly and enthusiastic, making me feel so welcome. The biggest surprise was the free, exquisite coffee, tea, and local specialty snacks provided in the lobby on the ground floor. The attention to detail truly shines through everywhere. The value for money is outstanding, and I would definitely love to visit again!

The space was comfortable, and I loved the bidet toilet and powerful hairdryer. They even provided instant noodles, drinks, and snacks. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel that goes to the Garden Night Market, and you can also rent bicycles. Parking is available. The breakfast was really rich and delicious – I accidentally ate too many pastries! The restaurant space is large, and there's also water available for refills.

J T H LeeThe location of this hotel is perfect. All the major cultural sites and shopping malls are within walking distance. I highly recommend the guests to buy the locally brewed Tainan beers (in bottles) from the reception. It is going to be an unforgettable experience. These local Tainan beers have a wide range of tastes, and the texture of each one is bolder and better than the conventional Taiwan beer and the imported ones. The hotel also has a neat and cozy common area on the 8/F., and it is comfortable to relax there. I wish the hotel had its own restaurant, but one can always find cafes for breakfast nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was very cozy, clean, and nicely decorated, making it a comfortable place to relax after a long day. Everything was well-prepared and felt very welcoming.
One of the highlights was definitely the onsen — it was spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. The environment was peaceful and relaxing, and it felt incredibly comfortable soaking there. It really helped us unwind and made the whole experience even more memorable.
Overall, this was truly one of the best stays we’ve had. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to come back again! 😊

The staff were really friendly, and the facilities were great too. We had a mud hot spring on the balcony, so we didn't even have to go downstairs to soak. It made for a very relaxing and enjoyable day.

Guest UserExcellent stay! I got a great location for a good price.
The window faces a wall, but the dehumidifier and air conditioner are fantastic.
I stayed in a solo room that also had a desk and chair. I didn't take many photos of the room, so I took pictures of the restaurants nearby instead. First off, there's the Chihkan Tower historical site close by, and at night, there are lots of great yakiniku and izakaya spots. The lamb restaurant right in front of the place is a bit pricey, though. Come with friends if you're going there.
If you have a lot of time with friends at night, try a Chinese stir-fried snack bar. Even if you're alone, you should definitely try the Chinese Eight Treasure shaved ice (Bā Bǎo Bīng).
If you drop by the accommodation during the day, just go out and turn the corner, and you'll find a Japanese matcha shaved ice place called Hanamizu Uji Matcha Amamichaya. Their portions are huge, so it's best to dig in from the inside and add sauce as you go.
Back to the accommodation: the air conditioning is cool, and there's a dehumidifier, making it very comfortable. It's great to keep using them to dry things without extra cost. For clothes, use the dryer that's in the pocket, and the dehumidifier also has an anti-bacterial clothes drying function. The air conditioner also dehumidifies.
The water pressure in the shower is excellent. Don't lose your key! To open the door, just touch the middle part of the number pad with the key. If you don't know how, just ask; they'll open it for you.

Location: Super convenient! Guohua Street, Hai'an Road, and Minsheng Road are all just a block away. You can turn a corner and be on You'ai Street or Zhongzheng Road. It’s a comfortable 10-minute walk to Koxinga Ancestral Shrine, Hayashi Department Store, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Ximen Store, National Museum of Taiwan Literature, Tainan Art Museum, Judicial Museum, and Confucius Temple Commercial District.
Shops: On Zhongzheng Road, there's Poya, and across from it is Wusong Temple, a great spot for souvenirs. Cosmed and Watsons are just a block away. There are so many eateries nearby! Turn left onto You'ai Street and you'll find You'ai Market, which has several food stalls open late, though it can get hot in summer as there's no air conditioning.
Hotel: The hotel itself is fine. The Wi-Fi, facilities, and cleanliness are all what you'd expect from a typical hotel. I particularly liked the bathroom – spacious, bright, and clean. However, the room and bed felt a bit damp, and even with the fan on, that feeling wouldn't go away. Here's the main issue: something was biting me.
First night: Two bites.
Second night: One bite.
Third night: Two bites.
Fourth night: None, because I checked out early that morning.
The room was only cleaned once during my four-night stay, and they didn't change the sheets. I wonder if that's why bugs might be hiding in the bed and carpet. I thought about asking the hotel to change the bedding, but then I figured it wouldn't make a difference.
The hotel is actually well-maintained. I just hope they can step up their cleaning and disinfection efforts, especially for the bedding and carpets.
Upon check-in, I received a small gift: a coin purse or a drink holder. I chose the coin purse, which is very practical! 👍

10 JENGThe room was spacious and cozy, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The only downside was a slight odor upon entering, which disappeared after turning on the air conditioning. Overall, it was great value for money and I highly recommend it!

Si Anping presents a sophisticated, boutique visual identity that aligns with Tainan’s modern creative wave. The establishment excels in geographic positioning and architectural design.
The property is a high-utility base for historical research, situated within walking distance of Anping Old Fort and the canal.
I am inspired by the minimalist aesthetic and clean lines provide an environment conducive to ”mental decompression” after navigating the sensory-rich streets of Anping.
however, a significant design flaw exists in the bathroom facilities. The window blinds are insufficient to fully cover the shower window, creating a transparency issue where the interior is visible from the public park outside. This presents a challenge to the ”psychological comfort” and privacy of the guest.
Laundry services are not handled in-house; the establishment relies entirely on external providers. This can adds a layer of logistical complexity for travelers on a multi-city itinerary.
