I’d say this is the best hostel in London tower bridge area. Great facilities and location is just perfect. U can also book breakfast to save on money. They have a bunch of activities but unfortunately I didn’t join in. Had a busy schedule. Reception was very nice and friendly and I wanna appreciate the recommendations made by Reece for places to visit and transportation to take to airport. U could also take a shower if u r just passing by to airport or had some time to kill. But I didn’t know that in advance and had to book a room for another night which I just wasted. It’d have been great if they had option for hours booking room in case someone was just wanna make a pitstop before heading to airport or somewhere else

Great location. The underground and railway way stations are just at the opposite side of the road. There are elevators all the way from the train platform of Heathrow airport. There are quite a number of cafes and restaurants nearby. The room is with reasonable size. Everything is clean and new. But there is not a refrigerator.
Get prepared to add GBP5/night to your budget per night, to top up the wifi. The mobile phone signals are very poor, while the free wi-fi is with very low speed. It needs your patience for opening your emails. Audio/video meetings are impossible.

Compared to the traditional old and shabby London hotels, this hotel is alternative and trendy, with smart room control and new hardware and software. The breakfast is rich. After a day out, I came back and found that the room was not cleaned. It turned out that there was a line of small words in the bathroom saying ”Contact the front desk for room cleaning”... But most of the time, there was no one at the front desk... And they didn't provide toothbrushes, can you provide a mouthwash cup? ? It's not very convenient to brush your teeth with a water bottle.

The room is very small, with three sides against the wall, but the design is reasonable, the space utilization is extremely high, the decoration is simple and stylish, and the picture is completely similar to the real one.
The location is excellent, about 100 meters away from Goodch Street subway station, there is a small Chinese supermarket 20 meters to the right of the hotel, and there is Martha food not far to the left. It takes ten minutes to walk to the back door of the British Museum. St. Pankes Railway Station, Coventry Garden, Oxford Street, and the theater are not far away.
There are few varieties of breakfast, no meat, enough to eat, and oatmeal porridge and croissants are highly recommended, very very delicious! The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good. Toothbrush slippers are five pounds a set. The hair dryer is very good, even better than Mousen, and I am going to buy one.
I stayed for four nights. I booked on Ctrip for the first two nights. If I booked on Ctrip for the next two nights, I would change the room. If I don’t want to bother, I will book on the hotel’s official website.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserDuring my recent stay at St Christopher's Hostel in Greenwich, London, I unfortunately encountered several aspects that left a lot to be desired. One of the major drawbacks was the cleanliness of the premises, which fell below the standards I typically expect from hostel accommodations.
The state of cleanliness in my assigned room was notably subpar. There were visible signs of neglect, with dirty surfaces and a lack of attention to detail in maintaining a hygienic environment. This aspect significantly impacted my overall comfort during the stay and left a lasting impression that detracted from the positive aspects one hopes to find in a lodging establishment.
Equally disappointing was the level of service provided by the hostel staff. Throughout my stay, I encountered instances where the service was notably poor. There seemed to be a lack of attentiveness and responsiveness to guest needs. Whether it was requests for information, assistance, or even basic inquiries, the staff's overall demeanor did not reflect a commitment to guest satisfaction.
The combination of inadequate cleanliness and subpar service made for a less-than-pleasant experience at St Christopher's Hostel. It is my hope that these aspects can be addressed by the management to ensure a more positive and comfortable stay for future guests. While I understand that hostels may vary in terms of amenities, a baseline of cleanliness and attentive service is crucial for creating a welcoming and satisfactory environment for guests.
JJidaniThe toilet always clogged in the morning. However, I like that they provide hair dryers in the bathroom. Staff was nice and friendly but sometimes I just needed to be alone🥲
JJosh CreekThe hostel's entrance is within the Bar called Belushis, this is again shared for the hostel's reception and hostel's breakfast area.
The bar is described as sport themed on their website, but I would say it's more of an alternative music theme instead, as the decor in the toilets, the passage and stage area are fitted with them type of posters.
I arrived on a Sunday at around 7:30pm, there was a blonde Irish musician playing a guitar and singing, there were also playing womens' soccer on the 6 TV screens, but every one I saw was watching the musician. The ambience was very lively and enjoyable, as the musician was there and had good encouragement skills, when small~talking in between each song.
St Christopher's Inn's check in desk was located next to Belushis's (drinks) bar, a small gap made it a detached unit, the bar tender was also the hostel's receptionist.
A photo of your passport is suffice, for the required identification when checking in. (Do not try to use a railcard or an annual bus pass, as these 2 forms of photographic identification are not acceptable.)
It's compulsory to pay a refundable £2 lending fee for the key card, which they give back when you give back their key card.
Once in the hostel I explored, their entertainment room is called the 'Chill Out Room', the room is big with a big TV screen, the TV is connected to the Internet and is also an (internet) browser. There are also lots of movie DVDs and some boxed party games. There are 2 padded sofas and 2 padded armchairs, a kitchen including a kettle, attached to this room is an additional room for lockers.
The dormitory I was allocated to had 12 beds, including 1 shower and 2 wash basins. (Out of the dormitory) beside the corridor there were 2 individual toilet rooms.
The morning after I had breakfast, it's an affordable price of £6, which has a big selection of foods and is all self serviced.
GGuest UserGreat place, cheap, good location. Could do with having the full ingredients for the meals they provide. Place looks dated, things need to be fixed and stocked up with better quality toilet paper and also no shower gels etc. Can be a tight squeeze in some toilets and the stairwell as well as having to take our own luggage down in the basement.

GGuest UserTons of value, plenty of freebies (from breakfast to food and refreshments throughout the day). Staff is friendly and helpful and location extremely convenient. Keep in mind that this is an old school budget hostel, not a fancy, boutique one, expectations should be set accordingly. Personally I truly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it.
SSurachaiThe bedroom and bathroom are quite narrow. There is almost no place to put it. Strong water, free WiFi, but in the room the signal is not good, there is no TV, but overall good, near the train station. Near a mini-mart, suitable for Backpackers..When sleeping late at night, you can hear the sound of people opening and closing doors, the sound of people walking, disturbing when sleeping.

AAngelI am writing to provide feedback on our recent stay at your hotel. While the location was excellent, we found that the hotel itself was in need of some improvements.
Firstly, I would like to highlight the positive aspect of our stay, which was the great location of the hotel. It was conveniently situated near various attractions and amenities, allowing us to easily explore the area. This was definitely a major advantage during our visit.
However, we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel. The rooms appeared to be in need of a deep cleansing, as there were noticeable stains on the carpets and walls. Additionally, the furniture and fixtures seemed worn out and outdated. A fresh coat of paint and new beds would greatly enhance the overall appearance and comfort of the rooms.
Furthermore, we found the lack of a welcoming lobby person to be quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were not greeted or assisted by any staff members. This lack of hospitality made us feel unwelcome and left a negative impression.
In conclusion, while the location of the hotel was excellent, we believe that improvements are necessary to enhance the overall guest experience. A thorough cleaning, along with updates to the rooms and furniture, would greatly improve the comfort and aesthetics of the hotel. Additionally, having a friendly and welcoming lobby person would contribute to a more positive and enjoyable stay.
P.S. positive side- I truly appreciate the staff at the hotel who made the effort to move us to a more convenient floor. Additionally, it's always a pleasant experience when the breakfast lady is friendly and accommodating.
(No elevator/lift)
(I paid too much for 3nights so I was expecting a good place to relax after 27hours of travelling with a toddler).

GGuest UserHotel is well kept and clean. Very close to earls court station. Few minutes walk away. Only problem encountered, no means of turning on the aircon and we styaed at the basement.
AAnonymous UserInitially, I was a little skeptical of this hotel after reading the reviews. However, after coming and seeing it for myself, it wasn't as bad as I thought. It is in the best location for tourists. The main places for sightseeing are very close therefore easily accessible. There's an underground and coach station nearby, quite a few eateries too and some shops. Location: 10/10.
The hotel itself. They provided shower gels and towels but some of the towels were stained. The shower door didn't close as it wouldn't move. It is also very squished. Not the biggest issue but the bed did not get made after I had spent the night. Also, there was quite a pungent, musty smell in the room. The fridge wasn't stocked up which was good for us as we bought a few sandwiches and drinks. Hotel: 1/10.
Also, there is no free parking and you can't park outside unless you have a permit. I think it is free parking after 6pm but you would have to move your car by a certain time. 0/10
In conclusion, it is the best location if you're only stopping for a few nights. I enjoyed it as I wasn't in the hotel for long, just for getting ready and sleeping. Because I was out for most of the day, it didn't really affect me. If I were to come back to London, I would book this hotel again for the location.
GGuest UserThe pros: good location once 20 minutes from city centre and 5 minutes of underground. The cleaners are nice, the room was clean. The beds were clean, tidy and comfortable. The price was very good!
The cons: hotel had many issues: wifi was not working for long periods, bathroom very small with tiles coming off the walls, some walls peeling, wardrobe precarious with water register in an unfinished floor inside, the both lifts wasn't working for 4 days.
Once the price was really good, the bed was good and the underground closes, it worthwhile. But I can't recommend it if you need a little more comfort or lux.
