"Start with the good: the staff was very nice, the capsule comfortable (great bed) and I was lucky to get a quiet room of respectful people. And the bad: the worst thing is the showers. Aside from being crammed, the button push lasts 5-6 seconds (counted), which means you're constantly pushing and getting a mix of cold or scalding how water. Please fix your showers! It was also clogged and flooded quickly. I think the toilets/shower areas could use cleaning more often. There is no public space, tables, etc. at all, you come here just to sleep or rest in your capsule. Better than what most other hostels offer (some not even having curtains!) and a better night sleep for sure, but no mingling. Also not much space for shoes or luggage, and certainly no safe lockers. It could be so much better if they had made some space for this. Would also be nice to be able to pick top/bottom bunk: being on the bottom I was woken up by banging/dropping items/etc. by the guest above me. Overall good, better than most in the area, but it could easily be better still :)"

"Location is great, very close to King’s Cross station and St. Pancras station. Many attractions such as The British Museum, Convent Garden, Coal Drop Yard etc. are all in a walkable distance. However, due to the heat wave, extremely hot weather, while waiting for check in at the lobby, the waiting queue is super long, it was very hot and unbreathable. There is also no AC or fan in the room, and no fridge. With a strap tied to the window, we could only open a small gap, not enough for the oxygen to enter the room. It was too hot during the night, the room was like an oven, we couldn’t sleep, had to get to the lobby to ask for a solution, the staffs said that they have fan for borrow, but that night they already lended it all out. They marked our room number and said will deliver a fan to our room the next night, but the other night after we get back to our room we did not see any fan in our room. Lastly, the lock of our bathroom is broken."

"Rooms need to be updated but other than that, it’s great. Bed was comfortable and the towels were good to! Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly. The last morning they had the GM in the breakfast room helping out. Very nice and friendly lady."

"I stayed with my two children for 5 nights, and while we were generally satisfied, the pros and cons of the accommodation were quite evident. **Pros:** 1. The apartment offered a two-room layout, which was ideal for a family of 3-4. 2. Having a kitchen and a washing machine was incredibly convenient for cooking and doing laundry – a real lifesaver! 3. There was a supermarket right downstairs, making grocery shopping incredibly easy. 4. It was a 10-minute walk from South Kensington tube station – a manageable distance, neither too close nor too far. 5. Both the Natural History Museum and the V&A Museum were very close, just a 10-minute walk away. 6. There were also Chinese restaurants within a 10-minute walk. **Cons:** 1. There was no air conditioning in summer, only a single fan. 2. Our 4th-floor room was west-facing, so it got direct afternoon sun and was stiflingly hot, making it difficult to sleep at night. We also didn't dare open the windows on the 4th floor due to security concerns. 3. The elevators were few and small, so we mostly relied on the stairs unless we had heavy luggage. 4. The walk from the elevator to our room felt incredibly long, easily 500 meters. And for all this, the hotel still cost over 2000 a night. In general, hotels in the UK are far inferior to those in the US – overpriced and often quite run-down. For the same price in America, you could easily stay in a 4 or 5-star hotel, or a truly excellent guesthouse."

"I have booked a room capable for 4 people, but the hotel could not provide it due to the maintenace is on progress. They provides us 2 seperate room to us, but with free 4 breakfast while we stayed . Overall stay, the room is comfortable and the place is convenience to go to the Paddington statation. Many restaurants nearby with nice atmosphere."

"The room was quite small; with two beds, there was barely any space to move around. **Cleanliness:** This was genuinely poor. The bedsheets had visible stains and marks, and they weren't changed once during my entire 6-day stay. When the bed was made, it was obvious the duvet had been thrown on the floor, as the sheets picked up carpet fibers and hair – it was frankly disgusting. Even the drinking glasses weren't cleaned daily; I'd return after a day out to find they hadn't been replaced with fresh ones. I called the front desk, and a staff member came in, just quickly rinsed the glass by hand, and seemed to think that was perfectly acceptable."

"It has very good location. Very central. Walki g distance to Buckingham palace, big ben and other tourist destinations. Clean pillows and blankets. Towels, you have to pay extra charge. However, if you're tall, you cannot stretch your feet. No daily room clean up service so our trash piled up. I have an Indian roommate that snores so loud and shakes his feet as habit. Well, that's hostel and steel bunk beds. Reasonable price thou. Overall, good for in and out stay."

"Visited in August, peak season. Given the central London location and the time of year, I can appreciate that prices are higher, so I somewhat understood the cost. HOWEVER, for a room costing on average 1500 RMB per night: it was small, outdated, and frankly, looked quite grubby. There was a strong, unpleasant plastic smell that greeted us upon entry and didn't dissipate even with the window cracked open for our entire four-night stay. The bed linen made me incredibly itchy all over, leaving me constantly scratching. To top it all off, at 1:30 AM, someone accidentally triggered the fire alarm, and the piercing siren blared throughout the building, prompting hundreds of guests to evacuate – certainly a dramatic and unforgettable (for all the wrong reasons) experience. Breakfast was quite varied, and the pool and gym facilities were adequate. But no matter how decent the public areas are, I'm staying in the ROOM! 😩 Absolutely NOT recommended!!!"

"There are several things I liked about my stay here. There were a lot of kitchen utensils/ cookware available which was appreciated for a longer stay to be able to cook. I also appreciated being able to check in early and staff were friendly. Areas for improvement is one, updating information on booking sites regarding their laundry room and gym availability. On trip.com as well as in the elevator and welcome card/info it discuss laundry facilities and gym. However when I went to use them they were not in order as their location had moved and they were still working on it. I shared this info with staff and at first there was back and forth that felt uncomfortable as they stated that their website or other booking sites don’t list laundry and they don’t have it. But when I showed them on trip.com that it is listed and other places in the hotel they apologized and tried to compensate me for laundry services I would pay for. So I did appreciate that. Other things, location close to train and bus options and lots of stores and restaurants near by. Room was mostly clean except the table and wish there was more natural sunlight available in my room. Overall would consider booking again if the price is still a better option, otherwise would go elsewhere until their services are fully available."

"We had a fantastic stay at Tribe! Since it was my husband’s first time in London, we were given a room with a beautiful view – such a wonderful surprise. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Canary Wharf station, which was very convenient. There are also plenty of great dining options all around the hotel. Overall, our stay absolutely deserves a solid 10/10!"
