There was a huge traffic jam on the Beijing-Shenyang Expressway on the way to Suzhou, so I was forced to change my destination. I decided to go to Hongcun on the spur of the moment and booked this homestay without knowing much about it. The location of the homestay is very good, and the Moon Pond is just a dozen meters away from the back gate. The family room has its own independently controlled floor heating and air conditioning, which provides plenty of heat. The window view is beautiful, and there is a beautiful courtyard of its own. There is a small bar at the front door that sells coffee and milk tea. The boss was a young man, very friendly and enthusiastic. He showed us the tour routes and treated us to free coffee that he ground himself. His words always reminded me of Gao Qiqiang, played by Zhang Songwen. Disadvantages, or what I personally can't get used to: There is a wooden tatami-style bed in the room with two mattresses on it. The mattresses are very soft, and when I turn over at night, the tatami bed always makes noises, which affects my sleep. Another thing is that the bathroom is an independent area surrounded by glass and is not particularly sealed.
