Find 2-Star Hotels in Urumqi

On the last day of my trip to Xinjiang, I came to Urumqi. Just like last time, I visited Xinjiang Museum and International Grand Bazaar. This store is located on the busy Beijing South Road. It has a good location. There is a shopping mall nearby and there are many people.

During our 2 week travel we choose this hotel because of its location (which is great) - the hotel is literally just a few steps from the metro station, which was a lifesaver during our 2-week stay. Considering the quality of the service, the comfort of the rooms, and the prime location, I felt this hotel offered excellent value. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Whether you are traveling for business or leisure :)

The entire place was impeccably clean, and housekeeping tidied our room daily. The bedding was soft, clean, and odor-free. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there was plenty of hot water available 24/7, making for a really great shower experience. Definitely worth a stay.

Facilities: Very new. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. The room was really big and spacious. Environment: The surroundings are also good, and it's super close to the high-speed train station. Service: The cleaning lady was very nice; I forgot my room card and she opened the door for me.

15-20 minutes walk to Urumqi High Speed railway station. Recommend to pay a little bit more (40rmb in my case) and get the room with a big red bathtub and Japanese style bed (quite comfortable) because it's bigger and overall nicer than the standard room. There was a cigarette smell in standard room as well. All facilities was working but seems to be a little bit old. A lot of convenience shops and restaurants around. Overall a decent place to stay for a couple of nights.

The service is very good and thoughtful. The facilities are complete and the hygiene is very good. The hotel is very close to the attractions. In short, it is a very comfortable trip. I will come again next time if I have the chance.

I always stay here when I come here because it's convenient for eating, getting taxis, and parking, and it's not far from the high-speed rail station! Most importantly, the price is affordable and the environment is nice! Highly recommended! [Strong][Strong][Strong]

Don't expect too much. It's not like those Chinese average hotels for this price. U are almost leaving China here. But above all it's clean, all necessary things are provided, no strange small, white beddings and towels. Good location. Nothing to complain about. Just not as cozy as we used to get for the same price in other parts of China.

The hotel is very close to the airport and offers a private shuttle service. This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and it was a surprisingly good experience. The capsule itself offered great privacy, good ventilation, and various lighting options. It was clean, comfortable, and very budget-friendly. The front desk staff were also very welcoming!

Hostel is about 5 - 7 minutes away from the ”Sports Centre” metro station, which is about 25+ minutes from the airport. The hostel entrance is next to the Tesla shop, and you have to press the buzzer, for the security guard to open the gate for you. Then, after writing your name down in the guest-book, you go up to the 10th floor in the lift. (Check the other reviews here, for a picture of the gate/door to the building) The staff speak little to no English, but they are very helpful. They will try to solve your issues, as long as you patient with the translation software. Also, it is difficult for staff to check you in, if you do not have a contact number or Alipay/Wechat contact. (This is a CN Govt requirement) The dorm rooms are basic and you may get the city views. There are no privacy curtains and there was no air-con, in my one. The hostel staff can provide fans, but we did not need any, as it was still cool at night. The beds are OK. There is a bathroom in the dorm room too, but there was almost no privacy for the bathroom, as there was a gap between the door for others to see and you can see through the frosted glass into the bathroom too! The hostel is relatively clean, quiet and well-located, except there may be other local guests, who are loud and smoke sometimes in the other rooms. Next to the hostel is a nice up-market shopping centre and with really lots to eat, in the food-court on the 3rd floor.
