Returning from Altay. Transfer to Urumqi for a rest. I chose this hotel among many hotels. My girlfriend really has a good eye for talent. This hotel is really great!
From the front desk to the guest room to the restaurant to the doorman, they are all very friendly, the service is meticulous, and they pay great attention to details, making people feel at home. This was an excellent hotel with superb services. The staff, in particular was very helpful in arranging drives to various interesting sites. The lady called Sophia spoke excellent English which made life easy for foreigners. The only thing I would recommend is that they make an effort to clean the carpets more thoroughly.

First things first, this is clearly a knock-off ‘Hampton by Hilton’ - branding the same, room design the same, and to be fair they’ve done a decent job of it. Room was modern, spacious and clean. Unfortunately, that’s about as positive as I can be about my stay. The location is fine, albeit not many good local restaurants or sights within walking distance, you’ll need to get a taxi. Service at front desk was inattentive and unprofessional. When I tried to use the phone in the room to call front desk and/or housekeeping, the line automatically disconnected. The worst aspect of my stay was the “smart” aspects of the room. Firstly, the aircon does not work. It was 34/35 degrees throughout my stay and despite putting the aircon on 16 degrees with maximum fans, the temperature in the room barely dropped below 27/28 degrees all night. Bring your own fan! The “smart” controls meant that all the lights in the bathroom came on as soon as you moved, which is not what you want in the middle of the night. Equally, the control panel was blinking constantly, right next to the bed, which was very annoying if that kind of thing affects your sleep (it does mine). Worst of all was the TV that simply would not turn off, and was incredibly bright, right in front of the bed. I ended up having to dismount the TV from the wall and completely unplugging it just to get the room semi-dark. Incredibly annoying. If you want a dark room, with a comfortable temperature, this is not the place for you… Its a shame, because the hotel has potential, but as it is I can’t recommend it given these fairly fundamental issues.

The second time I stayed at this hotel. I checked in late last night, around 23 o'clock, and the air conditioner in the room seemed to be broken. I remember room 4017, I turned on the air conditioner and waited for a long time but there was no response at all. It was very cold. Later, I reported to the front desk and she told me how to use it. I readjusted the air conditioner and waited. It was still very cold after 1 hour. Later I called the front desk again. She said to bring a heater to my room. It was still cold, so I went downstairs to tell the front desk. She said to change me to another room. The room on the 6th floor was quite warm, but the air conditioner on the 4th floor was broken. It was very cold in the room. I hope to check the air conditioners in each room in advance next time. It is really impossible to sleep in such cold weather in winter. I couldn't rest well after changing rooms and moving around in the middle of the night. Everything else was good. I would like to specially thank Miss Xie at the front desk. The problem of the room not being hot all night was too much trouble for her. The front desk lady deserves praise. Overall, the stay was pretty good. Just fix the air conditioner.

The room we stayed in was 423. It was a fancy 'Simple Mesmerizing Starry Sky Room' with a tub near the window.... stayed for 2 separate days.
1. The toilet was nice as it warms the seat and has a bidet with auto flush.
2. The hotel location was good, near the nanmen metro station exit A. To go to Intl Bazaar is only one stop - erdaoqiao station.
3. This same metro can take u to the airport but didn't manage to try it.
4. Near to fast food, convenience shop as u exit from hotel, turn left and cross the road.
5. Bonus: Has a laundry room (washer & dryer) at level -1 for free usage with free detergent.

Great location right besides the subway station, with plenty of restaurants and even a top supermarket in the shopping centre opposite. We were upgraded to a very large room, which was nice and everything worked perfect, as before. Breakfast buffet with a large choice was ideal for starting the day. Next time in Urumqi we will definitely book this Atour again.

LLawrence HiungThis hotel was newly opened in 2024 and everything here is good and comfortable. The staff and manager are very friendly, understanding, helpful and kind. The manager is an honest and fun loving person. The bedroom and bed mattress are comfy and new. The amenities in this hotel are good and new except you can't cook here. It has a microwave oven and a coffee and tea bar and sell good coffee and tea to guests. The guests can use washing machine facilities with a small fee.

PPuriOverall the check-in process was smooth and efficient including the tedious task of having to show health QR codes, having pictures taken of passport with China residence visa side by side with phone showing health code, then making copies of visa page, passport page, last China entry stamp page, etc etc. In spite of the time this whole process takes the staff knew what they were supposed to do and went about the process as quickly as possible. A small welcome gift was an unexpected surprise. Special word of thanks to Ms.爱森那赫 at the reception (not sure if this is her actual name). She was the only one who spoke English and was guiding her colleagues to check us in smoothly. She also gave us a good recommendation to try local cuisine for dinner at a restaurant which was a 5 min walk from the hotel. The only confusing bit is the fact that hotel reception is located on the 3rd floor. Our Didi drivers did not know how to get us there as the drive up to the 3rd floor was through a parking lot next to the hotel. The hotel should either post clear instructions on a sign board for taxi/Didi drivers to follow or they should have someone posted at the entrance to guide vehicular traffic up through the parking lot to the lobby for check in. But all in all a pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to stay here again should we plan another trip to the city.

SSuray.ChSo here is an English review. I stayed on this hotel over 3 weeks, and I really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel was good location for my work purposes, surrounded with a lot of fancy restaurants . The hotel and rooms itself was very clean and neat. There is a small gym here, I used it frequently. If you don’t like Chinese style breakfast, there is also Western style options, even with cutlery 😁The main thing here is employees , very friendly and helpful. We could communicate with the microsoft translators. The all receptionist were helping with the logistics in general, supporting good stay and helped to navigate around here, suggested to visit beautiful locations around, suggested good restaurants, helped with online shopping, etc. The cleaning lady, (I am sorry I forgot your name) we talked almost every day, and she would ask about my needs, did laundry; the security guards were curious about my life here, and we had always good chat together, the kitchen service workers were helpful for adapt to new food and explaining things about it. In general, I had very positive experiences and memories. If I come back again I will stay here and recommend everyone also stay here.

Poor awareness by local drivers resulting in many drivers, dropping off the wrong entrance
Signages of the hotel can be vastly improved, as it’s not immediately clear that reception is at L37, and that there’s even a L1 lobby
Room was stuffy even as I tried to lower the thermostat to 18 celcius, I was still perspiring in my room and the middle of the night
One of my wash sinks was clogged
The pillows are not exactly comfy and I didn’t know there was a pillow menu until the day of checking out, even as I stayed in other Conrads of the world
Most of the staff who are in their twenties and thirties, have major rbf until you actually speak to them where they appear to be more pleasant and accommodating
