Excellent
NNamucuo98This hotel has a very chic and cozy vibe. Parking was a bit tricky, but the security lady was incredibly enthusiastic and helped us out perfectly! Stepping inside, it felt like a hotel you'd find in Hong Kong or Japan – understated, low-key, and very welcoming. The room was super comfortable, especially the bathroom design, which was incredibly well thought out. They even provided little gifts, snacks, and bottled water, and the tea was exceptionally good! We could even enjoy a foot bath in the evenings. Breakfast was also excellent, timely, and offered a good variety. I stayed for three nights, and besides the slight hassle of driving in and out, everything else was ideal! There's also a great 'Big Plate Chicken' restaurant nearby, highly recommend it!

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Modern Four Seasons Hotel! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and very efficient. The location is convenient. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

AAussie NikThis hotel is top quality. Worthy of 5 star standard. Just built in 2024, everything was brand new. Front desk receptionists were all so professional and hospitable. We felt so at home and comfortable that we stayed for 6nights. We were offered an abundant breakfast, evening tea and late supper. We had 70 inch tv with movie channels. There is a complementary laundry room. The Japanese style toilet was a bonus. Bus stop is across the road. Walking distance to Hong Shan Park, Peoples Park, Xinjiang Museum and Saybad Shopping district. Highly recommend any visitors to Urumqi to this wonderful hotel.

EeleadreamsService: For check in on trip, it says to call a day in advance. I tried this, but the person who answered couldn't speak English. It was not a problem, because I then messaged on the online chat. That was perfectly fine and they responded very quickly. I'd say if you don't speak Chinese, just message online. The front desk staff were super helpful when I was there, and quick to use a translator so we could communicate well. Amenities: I did some washing, laundry detergent cost ¥10 I think, and again the staff were very helpful, finding as many hangers as I needed to dry my clothes. Location: The environment was so peaceful, the lobby was a nice air-conditioned place to hang out. The outside grass area was so lovely, with little lavender and rose plants and chairs to sit outside. There is also a bar across the courtyard, and a coffee shop. The area is a bit far out of the city, but it is right near the metro, lots of local shops, and a mall with some big chain stores. Things to consider: I stayed in the single room attached to the women's dorm. It was so handy to have my own space for a very reasonable price. However, the single room itself does not have its own air-conditioning. The women's dorm does, so to cool the room down, I would just keep the door between open for a bit. Still, it was never as cold as the dorm room because it went up to 40°c outside when I was there, and I preferred to keep the door locked when I went out to keep my belongings safe. The single room does have a fan and a window, so you can get some airflow through there. Overall, it was fine, just be aware if you are travelling during the summer. (Also one suggestion I would have is to put a mirror in the room, so you can get ready in there). The only other issue was no soap for washing hands in the dorm bathroom, although there was shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. Cat: The cat was so cute! 🐈

GGuest UserLocation: The hotel boasts an excellent location, about a 10-minute walk from the Grand Bazaar and Metro Line 1 (which goes directly to the airport). There are plenty of shops downstairs and dining is convenient. It's in the same building as hotels like Ji Hotel, Atour, and Orange Hotel. During this Xinjiang trip, I stayed here for three nights (one night upon arrival, then two more consecutive nights after my circuit tour ended and I returned to Urumqi). Facilities: The room size is generous, the bedding is comfortable, and the complimentary yogurt was from Cha Balei, which was delicious. The underground parking is a public lot; just remember to inform the front desk of your license plate before leaving to enjoy free parking. Grand Bazaar Specialty Travel Photography: We were told the travel photography shop was under renovation and temporarily unable to provide services. I didn't order breakfast at the hotel, as there are various shops downstairs making dining easy.

GGuest UserThe shower water was wonderfully hot and powerful – so refreshing! And the breakfast spread, especially all the fresh vegetables, was incredibly delicious 😋. The soy milk was also super tasty! Huge thanks to all the front desk ladies and the security uncles, they were all fantastic! Cleanliness: Excellent, spotless, no dirty corners. Service: Absolutely amazing!

GGuest UserThe service was great! They even gave me a free room upgrade, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was delicious. Every time I stay here, the staff are so welcoming, and all the front desk personnel are lovely. I really love this hotel. There are good restaurants downstairs, and it's close to where I like to go shopping. It has a nice, relaxed pace of life.

GGuest UserAs a frequent business traveler, this Holiday Inn Express in Urumqi is one of the most reliable I've stayed at. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The 24-hour hot water and laundry room are incredibly practical, perfect for business travelers. Breakfast was fresh and filling. The front desk staff were efficient, making check-out a breeze. The location is convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, it's a stress-free and comfortable stay. Highly recommended!

SShuideqiqibabajiushiThe location of the room is fantastic, right downstairs from a lively food street filled with all kinds of local delicacies—you don't even need to go to Hetian 2nd Street. The room was generally clean. The staff were friendly and helpful during working hours, though it was a bit hard to reach them after hours. The breakfast features authentic Xinjiang flavors, which might take some getting used to for out-of-towners. The only minor drawback was that adjusting the water temperature in the shower was a bit inconvenient, but otherwise everything was great.
